STRENGTHS

DESCRIPTION
A single seat combat fighter, the Corsair’s Carnage was once a test bed fighter for new engines and targeting systems while also letting Mercenary Arms designers experiment with the adaptive cyclic shield. The Carnage features a mix of heavy lasers and ion cannons, making it equally adept at disabling prey as it is at destroying them. Its main weapon is an underslung Typhon Rotary Cannon, which complements the fighter’s mixed armaments while outputting a fearsome barrage with every pull of the trigger.

Shortly before Drakon Teague acquired the Corsair’s Carnage, the manager of the warehouse storing the test prototype put it up for sale to free up floor space and square his gambling debts. Since possessing the ship, it’s served the pirate well, its prototype engines working well in space and atmosphere, while generous storage bins due to the larger than average space frame allow him to carry more personal gear and loot than other fighters. Though Drakon has made several modifications and additions to aid him in his work such as adding a rear-facing tow cable launcher, rigging false ID’s for the ship, and adding a sensor jammer to make stalking targets easier.
