    SUMMARY

In the past, Corin was a street rat of Denon. He roamed then, as he does now. In search of a meal, for shelter, for a chance.

His saviour was Dagon Kaze. He was a father, then a brother. Dagon gave him two sisters, Yula and Jem. A strange family. As Jedi, Dagon and Jem travelled to far off worlds and shed a light on the darkness, to banish it into nothingness. It was here, there, everywhere. An endless pursuit. One that Corin found fulfillment in.

In the Second Great Hyperspace War, Corin was there alongside Dagon. The two of them battled the Dark Lord of the Sith. There was no finer achievement, no greater point to boast than that for a Padawan learner. He was arrogant and brash, quick to challenge and even swifter to rise to it. He was a fool, but a fool in learning. That, Corin did. The war with the Imperials saw the rest of his fellows thrust onto the frontlines, of which Corin commanded as best he could. He curved his worst impulses, and rose to become the first Jedi Knight among them.

His worst impulses, however, never left him. Instead, were channeled elsewhere. On Denon, Corin and Dagon were vigilantes that acted outside of the law that Jedi Watchmen were tasked to maintain. Each of those darker fragments of Corin were let out there, down in the rain, on the streets and in all that was underneath. Such a terrible place.

Once Dagon became occupied with other duties, the role of watchman was left to Corin. He dedicated much of him self to that planet. Corin battled Sith and Imperial alike, but Denon was somewhere to return. Until Jedi Master Dagon Kaze vanished. Efforts were made to find him, to no avail. Corin took it upon himself.

He was taken all across the stars. He chased leads in circles, into dead ends, and came across new sinister plots in the process. He did not, could not and would not stray from his intended path. Corin felt himself slip further into the darkness he tried to hold back, a malicious tide. Some foes, no, enemies, were too much. Corin could not move past them but could not let them stop him there and now. He fell into the darkness once more, but Corin would not catch himself this time.

Corin delved into the mysteries of the Force, of the Jedi and the Sith, and was so intent to continue on that runes and glyphs became a topic of vested interest. Corin marred his flesh, namely his eyes; twisted red with odd symbols as the other was consumed by purple and more patterns. His research and practise had taken him further down a road he had never once seen for himself, and came out the other side stronger with knowledge and use of esoteric abilities in the Force.

He was the victor in those quadrants of Wild Space, in the end, and yet for naught. Dagon was as missing as he was before, and all leads ran barren. The turmoil ran rampant within Corin. He could not save his master, his friend, his brother. He conceded defeat, but now Corin was not the man that had begun this monumental task. He could not return to the Jedi as he was, so used to existence on the fringes. So, he refused...

Corin roamed, as he did then. He continues to exist on the fringes, on planets that have been tainted with darkness and evil. To lift it from them, to see the people saved, to cast aside those that would seek to harm others. That is his mission now, as he wishes Dagon would want for him.

"He moves like the wind, carried on the breeze—never still, never held, always bearing his quiet burden. The hawk that circles alone, watching but never landing, treading a road paved by ghosts."

Corin is a troubled soul, shaped by the harshness of his past and the weight of his own inner turmoil. He is driven by a relentless need to fix what's broken, a lingering sense of responsibility to save those who cannot save themselves. But beneath this drive lies a quiet bitterness, a weariness from the years of solitary struggle. He has a tendency to keep others at arm's length, not out of distrust but from a deep-seated belief that his burden is his alone to bear. He finds solace in his solitude, often retreating into it when the weight of his choices becomes too much.

He is pragmatic, sometimes to a fault, willing to make hard decisions that others might shy away from. His actions can appear cold, calculated, or even detached, but at his core, he is driven by a desire to make the galaxy better - even if it means walking a dangerous, morally unclear path. There's a darkness within him that he struggles to control, remnants of a past he can't quite escape. He carries a reluctance to accept help while embarking on his self-imposed isolation and facing an internal battle between his Jedi training and his need to act outside the system. And though he may not show it, he still clings to his past memories, an idea of belonging, even if he's not sure he can return to them.

Corin is a contradiction - knight and ghost, ever present yet always distant. On a journey to conquer the darkness around him, and in him.

    STRENGTHS
+Resilience- Corin is remarkably resilient, both mentally and physically. He can endure pain, loss, and failure, always pushing through to continue his mission, no matter how much it breaks him down.
+Independent- His time spent on the fringes has made him self-reliant, capable of operating alone for extended periods and finding solutions to problems without relying on others.
+Tactical Mind- He's a strategic thinker who can assess a situation quickly, weighing the risks and rewards of every action. His experiences in battle, especially with Sith and Imperials, have honed his ability to think and act on his feet.
+Esoteric Force Knowledge- Through his research into obscure Force practices, Corin has gained knowledge of forgotten techniques, enabling him to use advanced, often forbidden, abilities that give him an edge in combat and problem-solving.
+Combat Prowess- Despite his inner conflict, Corin is a highly skilled warrior. He's proficient with his lightsaber and unarmed combat, capable of adapting his style to take down powerful foes.
+Emotional Control- His ability to compartmentalize his emotions allows him to remain focused under extreme pressure, often appearing calm and detached even when struggling inside.
+Moral Conviction- His dedication to saving others, especially those in need, drives him, despite his personal conflicts. This conviction helps him remain steadfast in his beliefs, even if he walks a morally gray path.

    WEAKNESSES
-Emotional Isolation- Corin tends to push people away, believing he has to carry his burdens alone. This emotional distance makes it hard for him to form lasting connections, leaving him isolated even when he longs for camaraderie.
-Guilt - The weight of past decisions, especially the loss of his master, Dagon, and his fall into darkness, gnaws at him. This guilt often clouds his judgment and can lead him to make rash decisions or retreat into himself.
-Self-Doubt - Though Corin projects confidence, there's a deep-seated uncertainty about whether he's doing the right thing. His struggle with the darkness within him and his deviation from Jedi teachings leave him questioning his path.
-Tendency Toward Ruthlessness - His pragmatic approach to situations sometimes leads to morally questionable decisions. He is willing to take extreme measures when necessary, even if they go against his Jedi training or his moral compass.
-Conflict Between Jedi Ideals and Reality - Corin's abandonment of the more structured Jedi life leaves him torn between upholding the ideals of the Order and dealing with the harsh realities of the galaxy. This internal conflict can cause him to hesitate or act unpredictably.
-Overworking Himself - His need to fix everything can lead him to overextend, pushing himself past his limits physically and mentally. This often leaves him drained and vulnerable at critical moments.
-Stubbornness - Corin is incredibly stubborn, especially when it comes to his personal mission. Once he sets his mind on something, it can be nearly impossible to sway him, even when it might be in his best interest to reconsider.

    • Lightsaber: His lightsaber hilt is crafted from matte, darkened durasteel with a standard design, a worn hardened grip roughened by years of use. Both scorch marks and scratches mar its surface, while it serves as a weapon built for function, stripped of all ornamentation.
    • Clothes: Corin wears a high-collared, dark tunic beneath a long, similarly colored poncho that drapes over his frame, providing concealment and protection from the elements. His slim sleeves fit snugly, with fabric looping around his palms for a secure grip. Corin's dark trousers tuck into sturdy, travel-worn boots, built for endurance on the road.
    • Obsidian Rain: A teardrop shaped vial containing the seeming essence of a storm, with midnight blue ink that has small, shimmering parts. A gift from Braze for assisting with locating Jedi Master Jasper Kai'el.
    • Velok's Sith Amulet: More becoming of a short sword and of a crude making at first glance. The blade comprised of a Greater Calama shell, having a Nighthunter bone handle, topped with a swiftly wrought knot of Velok's hair. It serves as a Nether-based wayfinder, creating portals between space.
