Turhaya: Olys Corellisi for 'Bright Star', this is said in remembrance for Corellia, and serves as a Compass Rose that will always point towards the broken halves that remain of this world.
I'm still kicking!: These Corellian Jedi Credits are imbued with Jal Shey techniques with the Force to help the user remain conscious. The resulting effect is that the individual who carries this finds that they are able to have a higher chance of fighting off damage effects that would knock out a normal individual.
Description:
Jedi Credits, Jedi Medallions, or Jedcreds were decorative tokens unique to Old Republic Corellian Jedi. They were awarded when a Jedi Knight was elevated to Jedi Master; they would be given to the Jedi's former Master, and a dozen or so of his close friends, family, and students.
With the splitting of Corellia, Corellian Jedi were wont to bring a token in remembrance of their homeworld and that of the dead. Thus, Micah Talith created the following Corellian Jedi Credit for those within the Galactic Alliance.
In the aftermath of Corellia's breaking, rescue crews in the deepest fissures discovered deposits of an odd red metal. Chemical tests confirmed that the substance was a variant of havod, with minor differences that defied analysis. Speculation as to the source of those differences ran the gamut from ancient Celestial intervention to the heat and stress of planet-breaking to the leftover effects of Akala's Nethermancy. Whatever the reason, once refined the metal was stronger than normal havod alloy, which generally does not occur in nature. The new metal was dubbed Corellian bloodsteel. It has become a symbol of Corellians' lost homeworld and a desirable choice for weapons or starships owned by Corellians.
For this reason, the Corellian Jedi Credits are constructed out of Corellian Bloodsteel. Blood red in hue, these credits have been imbued by the Force using Jal Shey techniques to help the owner ( as long as it is within their possession at the time ) to fight off damage effects that would knock out a normal individual. Some may say it is the Corellian stubbornness showing through the Force, but at the very least provides a means of higher resistance.
These Corellian Jedi Credits had an interesting side-effect that they would always point direct the owner towards the direction of the broken halves of Corellia.
The next addition is only for those who wish to add it to their Corellian Jedi Credit. It has long been a tradition for Corellians to craft damonds from the ashes of their deceased love ones. Normally, when the native of the planet of Corellia passed away, their bodies would be cremated and then their family would have the ashes compressed into a diamond. These purely synthetic diamonds were blue-white in color and sometimes gave a subtle glow from within, with many believing that a part of their deceased's soul remained in the crystal.
For those who desired, Micah would add slivers of these Soul Diamonds along the edge of the Jedi Credit, much like the sigils on a chronowatch.
