STANDARD FEATURES
Encrypted Communications Systems
ADVANCED SYSTEMS

ff0vxJN.png

Strengths:

  • Jedi Meditation Sphere: Utilizing the meditation sphere within the heart of the ship, this vessel replaces or augments several shipboard systems with the Force. This varies from helping enhance navigation as a passive feature and amplifying battle meditation, to more stunning feats, such as sheathing the ship in a Force Barrier amplified through the sphere and maintained by the specialist crew of Jedi onboard.

  • Sting Like a Bee: Like any dedicated ship of war, this command ship packs a punch and is quite impressively armed with an array of non-standard weaponry.
Weaknesses:

  • Enemy Spotted!: Through the Force. Through every conceivable kind of detection, there is, one can sense this ship with ease. It does not hide and has no hope to due to the Meditation sphere and other such features, and due to being crewed mostly by Force Users.

  • Up Close & Personal: Owing to the personality of it’s two most frequent captains, Julius & [member="Coren Starchaser"] and to the design mind behind it all - [member="Cal Sedaire"], this ship has to get right up next to you and just slug it out where it can bring the full brunt of its impressive arsenal to bear, due to lack of long range weaponry typical for a vessel of it's size.

  • Not Your Standard Mousetrap: Unusual weaponry, no normal shields, and a method of operating that requires quite a specialty trained crew, overall this is not your standard ship of war, and repairs or refits and operation are not just something to be picked up on the fly.

Description:

After being pulled out of his whiskey-sodden haze by [member="Coren Starchaser"], and given the tutelage of [member="Shinnan Moreno"] by his peers on the Green Jedi Council, Julius realized that with his son given to the Order to be trained, he had to find purpose beyond a family he had lost, though he vowed to oversee as much of Desrics training as was fitting. The boy had to grow outside the shadow of his father and mother, to decide his own path and destiny. And so, Julius set out to aid the Alliance-In-Exile, resigning his seat on the Council for the Green Jedi Order.

Setting out, it became apparent that he would need a more capable ship of war if he was to stand beside Coren and the others and fight against the rising tide of Darkness. So, consulting with his brother Cal, who owned and operated the legendary Corellian Engineering Corporation, Julius was struck by a prototype just finishing in the shipyards. A precursor to a planned new warship for the company, Cal humored his brother by donating it to his cause.

Consulting long hours, there were many tweaks and adjustments, until finally something both could accept was produced, though initially, it was light on armaments as Julius wished to travel back to the Outback to secure the weapons from his old ship. Cal was supremely confused by the inclusion of a meditation sphere, and much back and forth was had with the engineers to explain the workings.

On the eve of its maiden voyage, the ship was christened the ANS Ninth Circle, partly in reverence to the fallen Galactic Alliance and partly in reference to the deepest circle of the Nine Hells of Corellian mythology. It was then given [SIZE=9pt]warstripes[/SIZE] in emerald green to honor its Corellian roots, and some whisper it was even painted with a pinup by the prow cannon mount (of a twi’lek, no less!).

A rowdy visit to the Temple of the Green Jedi [SIZE=9pt]later,[/SIZE] and Julius had a crew. He recruited the daring scoundrels from the best that would come with him from the Flight Academy at the Temple, advised carefully by Coren as to each one’s potential and ability. Plus, being top graduates of said Academy, each individual may have an applicable talent in the Force for fighting aboard a ship, but they were also trained to be the match of any opponent without it to aid them.

Final modifications were made the morning of the launch, and the ship set course to the Outback. Training exercises were ran frequently, and Julius even took time to help set up mock boarding actions in the hangars and teach personal defense to the crew when not on ships duties, further developing their potential. En route it came upon the derelict hulls of an Imperial Remnant ship and others, the Remnant ships boasting the oft bragged on but hard to come by maser weaponry of the Chiss.

Several calls later, salvage tugs yanked the systems wanted out, and in orbit over Demonsgate, Julius had said masers installed. A short leave planetside for the Crew, and then onto the task of beginning to harry and harass the Sith in the Outback and ‘Rim territories, occasionally making sorties to Corellia. Never picking too big a target, and never staying too long, gaining time to turn the crew from a raw talent into a cohesive, experienced unit that operated as one.

[member="Julius Sedaire"], there's a lot of systems in here which don't match the affiliation of this ship. Can you provide me with the permissions from their owners or other proof to use these items for this submission?

Please place the quad laser batteries into the armament section, as these are weapons designed to damage other starships.

Crystal Gravfield Trap

This should be listed as an advanced system, as its an exceedingly rare but powerful sensor in canon.

I don't fully understand how this is a weakness instead of a fighting style. Can you explain this a little bit more to me?

Technically, this is one rating to powerful. However, if you change the hangar rating to "Average" (and none of the listed ships have to change with that), we should be all set from that standpoint.

What systems specifically? Merril-Valkner should be good... Everything else was, at one point or the other, given to Julius or Corellian League, when has formalized into the Corellian Confederation. If you wish, I can get notes on the Tenloss Armor and Hypertransit Package, as they were old enough I don't think I saved the PM's or can retrieve the off-site messages. But before I start message chains, if you could tell me what specific systems I need to ask for, that'd be great. Because the bulk of the ones on this thing are honestly open market.

As for the 'fighting style' weakness? I honestly don't even know how to explain it further, as to me it is self-explanatory. Most ships this size or bigger have heavy or long-range turbolasers and one or two big guns. Minimum. At the armament rating this one has, it's not uncommon for more. This one doesn't have those. It has to weather a pretty hefty bombardment to even get in range of possibility, let alone effective and best used. I'd call that a weakness. I'm not really sure how to word it to make it more clear, but i'm open to suggestions.

Hangar rating was a copy-paste error, so that is fixed. All other requests other than the two above i've responded two were done.

If they're open market (like most of the Merril-Valkner systems), we don't need proof to use. However, if the submissions are not open market or they do not have an affiliation that matches this sub, we do need proof of the ability to use them. It's not uncommon for us to find people trying to use other people's tech submissions without informing the original owners or without their consent. That's why we almost always ask for proof of permission to use.

In this instance, the Tenloss Armor, Ric Olie Navigational Computer, the Aryzah Relativistic Shield, Maser weapons, the Witch Fire CIWS, and the Silk Hypertransit Package. In addition, if you could link me to the thread for the Panaka-class Elite Starfighters for where they were handed over or otherwise provide OOC permission for their use here.

Copies or screenshots of PMs or IMs will work for this. Otherwise, the original submitters can like this post or your post below it to demonstrate to us that they're okay with you using it.

What's described in the weakness section (in my opinion) sounds like a character's fighting style, rather than a trait of the ship itself. With that said, your explanation here that it concentrates on short-range weapons does sound a valid weakness. If you would explicitly mention in the weakness section that this ship is primarily equipped with short-ranged weapons, we should be all set on this point.

Quick note as requested: I'm fully comfortable with this submission using my Olie AGS navicomputer, Aryzah Relativistic Shield, Silk Hypertransit Package, and any other components I've created.
