DESCRIPTION
The Constancia Technology Directorate was formed as an amalgamation of different science, technology and construction industries. These industries stood to collapse under Constancias strict environmental laws. So the decision was taken for the government to release the investors from their burdens and take on the industries. In the short term it was terrifically controversial and expensive, but in the long term the venture has proved hugely successful.
