Empathic pressure– As a telepath a place like the Senate building can be very taxing, a mixture of noise brainwaves bombarding her, leading to anxiety and headaches. She sometimes wears a thought blocking circlet to prevent this.

APPEARANCE:
Beautiful, childlike and with the bright orange hair of her species, Xasha is striking. She wears strong makeup to make herself appear more adult amongst professional colleagues, including lightening her orange skin.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born as the third of four children into the Callisto familyz a renowned political group on Constancia, Xasha was always destined to do something in politics but was never sure what to the point that option blindness made her put the whole idea on the back burner. So she joined the military, it was still a respectful career and she served well. Between her own abilities and her connections she was quickly promoted to 2nd Lieutenant.
It was some time in this period that she began to see the effect that toxic politics had on her fellow serviceman and the wider population. She felt that Callisto calling reawaken inside her and she knew it was only a matter of time before she entered politics. After serving for five years, she resigned her post and applied to be a state representative to the constancian Parliament. She was charismatic and personable but also appealed to the military families that were common in her state, her first victory was a landslide and this was nearly her undoing. Winning by so much drew unwelcome attention and there was attempts to sabotage her. Several uncompromising stories and images of her from her early days in the armed services were leaked and became widely circulated.
She was fortunate that the people with her fate in her hands, at this time were mostly fellow military families who empathised with the young woman who was simply trying to make her service life a little easier and several more senior parliamentarians stood by her as she faced standards committee. She was cleared of any wrong doing after a short enquiry. The men who attempted to bring her down were never uncovered but over time she had put that behind her.
Serving with distinction in the she managed to enact several changes to laws that would make the lives of her people a little easier, it bothered some of the traditionalists, but her pragmatism and willingness to work cross party won her too many allies for them to ignore her or disrespect her.
After four years, she was nominated as the leader of her political party when the incumbent resigned siting failing health. She stepped into big shoes as he had been a stalwart part of Constancian politics for a generation, and many expected this would be where she finally fell.
The were proved wrong, she grew support for her party and in the first election after taking power, she won a majority of the seats in Parliament. By now though she was being courted by members of the Galactic Alliance to enter galactic politics, the chance for her to have her voice heard on a galactic stage and increase the effect for good she might have proved irresistible.
Two months after winning the leadership of the Constancian Parliament, she made a public announcement that she would be formally handing power to her then deputy leader and taking the vacant seat in the Galactic Senate to speak on behalf of her people. People on all sides of the house cheered this, her own side cheering for the good she might do. And her opponents glad to see her out of the Planetary race, despite the fact that they now finally held her with the respect she deserved.
