Conspiracy at 500 Rep.

"It won't be long before a security sweep finds us, prepare your shot Lieutenant." Marcus ordered, setting down a pair of marcobinoculars and looking to the Commando on his belly beside him. The man responded with a simple thumbs up as he continued aligning his rifle with his target. "Once I move fire, once you fire, get to extraction." He ordered before turning away and taking in a deep breath.

He jumped. Faust leapt from the perch he'd held and fell at a rapid speed towards the ground, only when he heard the distinctive crack of the sniper, dip he maneuver his body so his feet were facing the ground. Calling one the force he slowed himself to a silent halt on a roof not far fro, the senators, but still undetected himself. The sniper's shot wouldn't hit Fen as intended, but it wasn't expected, th shot had been extremely difficult to take with the weapon provided, instead it pierced one of the individuals questioning the VC's skull.

Now the Jedi would scurry about trying to save the day, only to fall to his wrath as well.

It became clear that the situation they were in was more serious that they had been brought to believe. A shot had ran free amongst the crowd, and hit an individual right in front of the group. Sochi's eyes widened, and she immediately did the first thing she could think of. She maneuvered herself in front of the Vice Chancellor quickly, though she could remember that he carried a personal armory on him it was still her job to be his protection. She held her left hand out, horizontally in front of the VC's chest. She could only watch as the crowds scattered, and people screamed. It became chaos pretty quickly. She looked back at Vexander, "We have to get out of here, and get him to safety." She said softly, but with a serious tone, she wasn't sure what was going on, but she could think that maybe this was tied into the tunnels in 500 Rep. Everything just wasn't adding up. She hadn't drawn her lightsaber just yet, that was never her first move, unless danger was in front of them, and inevitable. She slowly turned, and grabbed the Vice Chancellors wrist, quickly moving in another direction. They would have to take another way back to his place, but she questioned that place even, though there was no doubt that it would be properly protected.

[Previously]

A red Mon Calamarian named Donatos, who was a technician worker was inserting a wall panel back into place. The Mon Cal took his time, he was in no rush and often day dreamed while doing monotonous work such as this. Once the panel was installed, he removed a small cylindrical shaped tool from his work belt and switched it on, from the metal hilt emitted a tiny blue laser. A mini lightsaber a child could mistaken it for, but really it was just welding laser pen. The Mon Cal made an X mark on the panel and also engraved his initials near it. This was standard procedure for technician crews to do when they found faulty systems or other structures they could not replace immediately. The worker assigned to the task would go in to evaluate the problem and fix it if possible, if not which was most cases then they would mark the designated area and attend to it later when their report is evaluated and permitted to take resources to tend to malfunctions. The result as to why most occasions malfunctions were not fix at first is not completely due to the tech's skills or abilities, but rather because their access to supplies was restricted as there have been reports of theft within the maintenance company.

Carving his initial with the tiny make believe saber, he imaganed himself holding a real one. Then he move his webbed hand to his work belt, where there hung a lightsaber. Not a real one though, it was a training saber given to him by the Jedi Order. Donatos had arrived o Coruscant only a few months ago to apply for an Intenrship with the Galactic Senate, which he achieved however he also needed to find a means to support himself as the Senate did not fund their interns. Not wanting to leave the area of the Senate district, Donatos took on the role as a maintenance worker. The work is not hard, technology comes natural to the young Mon Cal, but it can be boring. Again he imagined himself in armored Jedi robes waving an emitted lightsaber.

The day dream ended when he spotted real Jedi near the main lobby, a Togruate female and Human male escorting the Vice Chancellor! "They must have important business to discuss on behalf of either the Jedi or the Senate..." Donatos thought to himself and was tempted to day dream again, but instead he kept his large grey eyes on the Togruta Jedi. He wondered about her, wondered what rank she was, her skills with a lightsaber and her mission with the VC. He wished he could approach them as if a member of the Order, but he was barely considered an intiiate. He was in his early twenties and was permitted to train with the order when a Jedi Knight sensed his ability to command the Force only a few weeks ago. The real Jedi were out of his league on the social ladder, at least for now and so too was the Vice Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.

Donatos watched as the trio left the main lobby and walked onto the main streets. He wished deep down he could be apart of that, he was of course training to be a politician before a Jedi, but to master both would be a dream come true. One of his goals to that dream was building strong connections however he had no reason to impress either Jedi or politicians yet. He sighed, putting the mini laser pen back in his work belt and typing into a data pad he had on the floor next to him, just detailing the supplies he needed to fix this wall panel circuit.

Donatos stood up, grabbing the datapad and began walking to the main lobby entrance, he stopped however in the center and was awe struck. His wishes were answered if only a little, beneath him, almost under his boot was a thin card key. This card key had the insignia of the building the Vice Chancellor resided in. "He left it!" The Mon Cal shouted, drawing attention from spectators, shutting up quickly he snatched the card off the floor and bolted through the main entrance hoping to catch up with the VC and his Jedi escorts in time, hopefully they didnt take a hover craft.

[Now]

On the streets, Donatos looked in all directions a bit too frantically for his own desire to find them. He closed his eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath and then released it. A calming technique he learned in material the Order had presented to him. Calm now, he opened his eyes and 'sensed' where they were, taking full charge he ran down the side walk even as he saw the curved montrals of the Togruta Jedi poking above the crowd. "Excuse me! pardon me! Sorry- I Just-" The Mon Cal shouted as he bumped and pushed into oncoming citizens. As he was coming up from behind the trio and called out in a raspy voice. "Sir! I believe you dropped this!" This was it, a random act of good will get him the attention even if so brief, but the attention of not only one of the most renown political figures in the Galaxy, but two Jedi as well! He can begin to build quite alot of prestige from this moment. As Donatos came up from behind the VC he presented the card with his left webbed hand, but suddenly the Togruta Jedi jumped in front of the VC to shield him from an oncoming blaster shot.

Meta had seen the shot and its shooter and the Sith who had dropped down onto a rooftop.. He activated the speeder he had been sitting in and flew off in the direction of the shooter, Meta activated his saver as he came round over the shooter, the green blade cutting through him like butter. Then, in this instance. Meta activated his coms to Sochi. "Ru, there is a Sith assassin on the rooftops nearby. I'm going in for the attack now, we're just above the plaza near you. He said, spinning round the speeder as he brought it into the path of the assassin. He leapt from the speeder and let it fly towards the Sith, landing on the same building as the Sith, he had his Lightsaber at the ready. He remained silent, preparing for his first real battle.

The moment he heard the crack of the rifle his stepped froze and his hand reached into his cloak, a voice in his head yelling "You have got to be karking kidding me, and to think I was going to enjoy a peaceful walk with two Jedi, oh well." He almost smiled at his thought, almost being the key word as any hint of a smile was erased the moment the man in front of him dropped dead. His eyes now shot to the Mon Cal as it came up behind him, his hand drew a pistol in a single fluid motion and leveled it between the mans eyes for a few moments, staring at him and reaching out with his own mind to touch the Mon Cal's and get a sense of his intentions. He smiled now though, the Mon Cal was force sensitive from what he could tell, now to determine what exactly this man was. "You, who are you and wh-" He didn't exactly finish his sentence as the moment he spoke was the moment that Sochi Ru decided to grab his wrist and pull him along, and furthermore he heard her comlink after turning and actually running with her.

Sith assassin on the roof tops? Another thought floated into his head while he ran with the Jedi before halting mid stride, forcing the Jedi to stop. "Do you even know where your going, because last I checked you didn't even know the direction of my home. How about you follow me instead miss." He fully realized how harsh and more noticeably unemotional his voice had grown in those few seconds he spoke, his mind was in battle mode, calculating a hundred different ways to traverse the city, charting a thousand different turns. All he thought about now was, which one would bring him into contact with the sith, and the moment he came in contact, it was time for a blade to his gut. Of course Yusan made sure to shield such thoughts, if the Jedi knew he wanted to get found, that he wanted to fight, he'd probably be knocked out and dragged to the temple if needed.

Once he was able to chart out a route he bolted off and let his eyes glide towards the roofs, all he needed was one glimpse of the sith and he would be sure that his plan was working. After all, the place he was leading him to was far from his home, in fact, it wasn't even his plan to go in that general direction. No he was heading to an old storehouse of his with a certain surprise for the Sith.

Meta wanted the Vice and his fellow companions to see his location. He slashes his blade against the ground and walls. Keeping the sith at bay but also creating very noticeable sparks for the Vice and his escort to see. 'Come on guys, hurry up' he thought to himself. He knew he was no match for the sith at the moment, but he could just about hold him off for a few minutes so that the others could reach him.

How the Jedi magically spotted the force cloak using Sith, or the sniper, both of which had planned this out for days in advance. It was kinda goddmo-odd, it was kinda odd. How he could identify him as Sith was leo peculiar, since Cavill and Shorn wrecked Coruscant, it'd been rather difficult for one to get on world, Dark Jedi would've been a more reasonable assumption. But he was correct, but his attempt to signal his allies was futile. They were over a kilometer away from @[member="Yusan Fenn"], @[member="Sochi Ru"], @[member="Vexander Graves"], and @[member="Donatos"]. A little lightsaber and some sparks wouldn't be visible in a city like Coruscant, with billions of lights sources and things that sparked. No one would see it but Marcus.

The Assassin didn't have time for the idiot who tried to crash a speeder into him. He'd redirected said speeder with a light nudge using the force. It'd smashed into the roof about a hundred feet away, and that was that. The Imperial Commando he'd tried to bisect was long gone, having slipped away the instant the shot was fired. The Lieutenant was one of the Empire's best operators, he wouldn't have stuck around to see the results of his strike, he'd followed orders, just as he'd been trained to.

Calling upon the force he blasted @[member="Meta "]with a torrent of raw energy in the form of a force push. It would easily fling him back, if not off the roof. Either way, he wasn't going to be directly on Marcus' tail after it struck. Not wasting any time, he leapt into the busy traffic and onto an open top airspeeder. Grabbing the driver, who of course was screaming his head off, the Sith threw the man out of the speeder and slid into the drivers seat. Jerking the controls towards the location of the other Jedi, and the VC, Marcus gunned the throttle and shot towards them.

Meta was hit by the full force of the blast. In the instant he had to react, he sunk his saber into the ground and held tight. The push sent him scorching across the ground. His enhanced eyesight caught which car he had got on, but it would be impossible to track, he called on the com again. "The sith escaped on a vehicle and I can't track it, but I'll recognise it if I see it." He said to Sochi Ru. Meta was less experienced than the knight.

As if on a staged rehearsed que, each of the trio darted into different directions. The Vice Chancellor may or may not have pointed a blaster in front of the Mon Cal's face, the Togruta had grabbed the VC to flee into the crowds only to be eluded by VC who broke free and took off in a different route. The human Jedi appeared to not be phased at all, or the rush of excitement was hindering Donatos and his Force 'sense'.

Within that quick instance a speeder flew over head and crashed into a nearby building, another jedi who seemed to be lightsaber happy as he flung his vibrant green weapon around fancy and unnecessary loops and circles. He looked like he was trying to put on a light show as a street performer, was this some wise Jedi tactic to throw the shooter off? Or perhaps this Jedi was too confident and liked to show off.

Donatos shook his bulbous red head to get back to the situation at hand, someone tried to assassinate the Vice Chancellor! Leaving the Whimsical Jedi to whatever it was he was doing, the Mon Cal took off to find the VC. As an employee of the senate...well as an unpaid employee of the senate, it was his duty to make sure the VC was safe, at least thats what the Mon Cal told himself. He gripped his training saber and pulled it from his belt, it could deflect certain blasters, but other wise it was a glow club stick that could maybe cause uncomfortable burns to a being...why the order didnt just give him a real sword rather than a child's learning tool he didnt have time to wonder about.

Around a street corner and politely, but hurriedly pushing civilians out of the way again did he catch a glimpse of the VC. He ran into a warehouse, probably to hide and await his Jedi escort to retrieve him, but he shouldn't be in there alone he might get ambushed before the Jedi arrive in time!

Donatos had reached the door's to the warehouse, he gently pulled the door to the side so that he could enter and then carefully closed it so not to draw any unwanted attention from the outside. Donatos had studied quite a few political figures in his spare time, he heard rumors that the VC was an ex-Jedi or at least a Force user with some Jedi training. However he may have trained or his strength in the Force, he is still vulnerable cooped up in a tight space. "Vice Chancellor...." Donatos croaked in a low whisper.

The warehouse was dark, with barely any light coming from crevices on the door behind him, again Donatos called out, a bit louder, but still a whisper. "Vice Chancellor, are you alright?..." Donatos ignited his pale blue training saber, it looked dainty compared to him as it was designed for a child, still it provided him with some light as he continued his search for the VC.

Sochi should've paid attention to her sense, her instinct, her gut feeling. This was bad, very bad, and she didn't know quite yet how to handle all the sudden chaos she was just brought into. No, this mission was not supposed to be one of the dangerous sort. There was quite more to the story. She wasn't aware that another fellow Jedi was standing by watching everything. She wasn't briefed on his arrival or involvement, but his assistance came at the most precious time. She grabbed the Vice Chancellor, and her first thought was to get to a safe spot, and find another route to his home, and warn security, all the while her com link came on and the voice of @[member="Meta "]was heard through the tool. She was told about the involvement of a sith assassin. This was more dangerous than she originally thought. She took a deep breath and responded, "Thank you broth..." She said as her words became chopped and interrupted. The Vice Chancellor had bolted off, after ripping through her grip. She tried to reach for him to stop him but was cut off by a stragglers from the crowd that had suddenly dispersed. "Oh my.." She maneuvered herself around them and bolted off after him. While she was running rather quickly, her com link came on once gain, the same voice spoke out to her. This time not sounding of enthusiasm. She was briefed on that current status of the assassin, he had escaped. Ru was sure that he would be on the trail of the Vice Chancellor just as she. She had to speed up her movements and close in the gap between them both.

(OOC: Apologies about not replying.)

@[member="Sochi Ru"] was just a tad to slow, Marcus was already zooming towards @[member="Yusan Fenn"]. Leaping out of the air speeder, he let the cheap economy class vehicle spiral towards the VC. Wether it hit him or not, he was betting on the latter, it would smash into the ground, a ball of fire erupting as it crashed. Twisted metal fragments flew everywhere, and the now burning wreckage belched plumes of black smoke, obscuring the view of those in the area, @[member="Donatos"] included. The only hind at the assassin's location was the sudden snap-hiss of his saber springing to life, its crimson blade humming as it hungered for blood.

Yusan heard the whine of the engine just moments before a eruption of flames and debris went gliding at him, several shards striking through his robes. Luckily though he had reached the very Warehouse he had been heading for and quickly slipped inside, without turning on the power to the lights. He slowly moved further back into the warehouse, his warehouse that would have served as his front for Terrorist strikes on Coruscant back when he was Void. Oh but now, it had about fifty powered down clankers that he could systematically activate from a console hidden off out of view. Sealing the door to the console room he watched the cameras and switched them to night vision before cutting all power to the warehouse's lights. When Donates came in he would be surprised to see the deactivated droids for sure, but im sure the sith that tried to ram him would have more fun in fighting all the Jedi that seemed to be showing up. Oh how this was about to become a show, let the Jedi do their job and weaken and tire out the Sith. Especially this one, he had seen this one fight if he wasnt mistaken and now was an opportune moment to see what he can truly do against Jedi and learn.

(( Reason for late post and taking an observer role is i have some school work to catch up on, this way i can do it without worrying about posting back responses to a duel. Once its done ill start acting but until then he will just watch you guys duke it out.))

The Mon Calamari heard a low humming noise, it sounded like the current to a generator if not multiple ones. If this warehouse had generators functioning and the light panels were out, that means they were most likely turned off intentionally. Still motioning forward with his blue training sabr, lighting the way, Donatos continued his investigation of the warehouse. He had stopped calling out to the VC, theorizing that the VC intentionally ran here if not to just hide, but to also fortify himself-.

Donatos was caught off mid theory as he almost walked into the thick hull of a deactivated droid. Raising on a scaley brow as a sign of uncertainty, the Mon Cal swung his lightsaber around and held it upward. He caught a reflection looking back at him, an exact shape was revealed to him. Security cameras and probably sensors too, the VC was watching him then and if he had droids simply standing at the front door, he must have other contingencies set up as well. A general, Jedi or even politician, title didnt matter, but an effective person was always prepared for the unexpected. Donatos came to his own conclusion that the VC was safe and should he stay here he may not do the VC any good simply gawking at his security programs.

Donatos crept back to the front entrance, after giving a wave of his hand to the security camera on his was out, at least the VC did not consider him a hostile. The real threat was just outside though, though Donatos did not have any formal training he was still on technicality part of the Order and therefor sworn to protect it, even though he didnt swear to anything just yet. Shutting down his training saber, Donatos slowly exited the warehouse, he made a mental note to present the VC his card key once this fiasco was over.

Donatos took a different route back to the main street where there was still commotion going on, civilians were panicking in the streets and store owners were locking down their doors and windows, preventing innocent civilians from getting to any shelter. He may not be capable to stop an assassin, but he can at least get these people to safety while the real Jedi aid with the gunmen. "Everyone remain calm and follow me!" the young Mon Cal shouted in a raspy voice as maede his way back to 500 Republica which was only a quick sprint away. He pulled out a small hand held device and attached it to an access panel near the sliding door entrance. The management team must have shut it down as a security protocol to ensure the safety of their residence, but the people on the street were vulnerable and needed to be evacuated. Donatos typed very quickly with clawed fingers into the small device in his palm, a chime of successful rings came from the device and the doors slid open.

"Everyone get in side! Come on now!" He waved his arms over and over, directing citizens into the main lobby. As the streets started to become more and more clear, Donatos searched for the Jedi and the attacker. A few more citizens were making their way to the hotel, Donatos ran to them halfway to make sure they got to safety. Over the roof tops hew saw the smoke grow larger from the air speeder crash, where were the authorities and med teams?

Running over to the crash site, Donatos spotted at least two Jedi, the Togruta female and a human male, the one who was twirling his lightsaber excessively. "The populace are evacuated off the streets and the Vice Chancellor is safely secured in a nearby compound." The young technician said with confidence he didnt even know he was portraying. "...I am Donatos." He said after realizing these Jedi would have no idea who he was save maybe rumors of a young adult youngling training part time at the Temple.

Sliding as she was coming to a quick stop she saw the explosion from a distance, so that's how she knew she was within proximity of the VC, as well as the assassin. She wasn't sure on the location of @[member="Meta "]and would have to do her best to protect the VC as best she could. This adversary was a trained assassin, and she was only a mere Padawan. She ran closer, meeting the black smoke head on. She turned, and walked in directions trying to sense the location of either being within the area. She was hoping to reach the VC first. Then as she turned around she noticed the igniting of a red lightsaber, just a couple of feet in front of her. The silhouette of the figure, whom she knew was the assassin. She took off in that direction and fully came out of the smoke to see a bit better the assassin. She was facing his back, and she breathing a little heavily from running, and being submerged within the smoke. She grabbed for her lightsaber, and held it in her hand not yet ignited, "Stop! Assassin!" She said. In the far off distance sirens can be heard the local authorities had obviously been contacted. Then suddenly she was joined by a Mon Calamari, who seemed to have a lightsaber. He approached her quickly, and here introduced himself. She looked over at him confused, she had no idea who she was. She focused back on the Assassin, "Your under arrest! Surrender."

Meta had been following from the rooftops, and had heard the explosions, however. The drop was too long, he might break a leg.
He saw three lightsabers dwindling in the smoke. A blue, silver and red. He didn't k ow if silver was friend or for. But, it was the least of his worries, he had to find a way done. There were no actual ways of getting down, he'd have to use a grappling hook. Conveniently he had one, taking it out from a pouch on his belt, he swinged it in the air. On the other end of the ravine of buildings it latched on, this allowed Meta to jump, coming down low. He ignited his Lightsaber, heading directly towards the smoke, he raised his legs as he narrowly dodged Sochi's blue Lightsaber. Then letting go he dropped down into a roll and landed a few steps ahead of Sochi and the what was now clearly a calamari. "Hello again." He cheered to the Sith, raising his Lightsaber in a stance of Djem so. He turned his head to Sochi. "Where is the chancellor?" He asked before returning his full attention to the Sith.

"The Vice Chancellor is safe for the time being as are the civilians, I evacuated them off the streets. I believe the VC will notify us when the threat is....apprehended" Donatos said taking on a side ways stance, it had no true form name at least none that he was aware of. It was simple defense stance that younglings were taught at the temple, clearly out skilled by all present beings, he felt confident he could at least serve as an imposing number as it was now three jedi against one foe, that is if they counted Donatos. Igniting his pale blue training saber, which was actually a shoto in comparison to his size he brought the blade slightly up ready to block an attack.

Donatos had heard that some Jedi can pass if not thoughts than at least intentions through waves in the Force to other beings without even speaking. He couldn't get a read off of the others due to lack of training, but he wondered if they could sense his thoughts? He tried to think as hard as he could, projecting it towards the Togruta Jedi. He didnt say word for word or in this case thought for thought what he had planned, but the noticeable sign she should pick up on is he had a way of perhaps distracting him for the other Jedi to make a proper call on what to do....Donatos wondered if they had the shot to take this assassin down permanently would they do it or are the codes of the Jedi so valiant that even murderers are exempt from Jedi finality.

Hoping his upper class men Jedi would make a decisive decision fast, Donatos maintained his defense pose, but with his free hand pulled up a tiny cylinder from his tool belt. He aimed it at the assassin's eyes and pushed the activation charge to full capacity. A blue thin laser in the instance of a second maybe even less had spread into a bright flash of light targeted only at the assassin and not hindering Donatos or the Jedi. The tool was simple scanner and welding laser, but too much pressure applied to it created this very....Flash Bomb! Donatos thought, hoping the assassin would be blinded or at least off balance by the bright exposure and mild heat wave.
