Private Considerations of Citizenship

Having spent much of her life traveling, more often than not to wage war on distant worlds in conflicts that often had little direct relevance to her, Eleena was just as comfortable in a starship (so long as she was not the pilot), as she was on the pillion of a swoop. As such, the Twi’lek had slept most of the way to Taanab, nestled close to her girlfriend as she piloted the ship. The two women had spoken for a long time about going to Taanab, which was where Trinity made her primary residence, being the location of the Boolon Murr Medical University. They had only been able to do so after Eleena managed to get another period of leave approved.

However, even on leave, the swoop ace couldn’t let herself fall out of riding shape.

“Okay Trinity, 45 more seconds. Hold it for just a little longer!” Eleena said as she held herself up in a side plank. “Gotta work that core, get those muscles nice and strong!” She continued with an encouraging grin. “Posture up! Don’t let those hips sag!”

Wiping sweat from her brow, Eleena gave a deep breath, her words not only serving to encourage her girlfriend, but also herself. Work in the gym was just as important as work in the simulator, the track, and the briefing room. Refusing to neglect any of those elements was how Eleena had made herself one of the premier swoop aces in the Thunder Corps, firmly establishing her reputation as the protégée of Isena Elysi, who was considered to be the best.

“Annnnnd, stop!” Eleena said, a relieved breath escaping from her lips as she did. “Good. One more set, then we’ll move to leg work.”

The trip back to Tanaab had been fun, usually hyperspace travel was dull and just an opportunity to catch up on paperwork or mark student assignments, but her copilot for this journey had been Eleena, and although there had not been much copiloting, it was lovely to share some time with her. That sort of time where there is no pressure to achieve anything because all you can do is enjoy each others company while starsystems flash by outside the cockpit.

This, however was not the first activity she expected to be doing once back on her adopted homeworld, she had been expecting to share a meal, glass of wine and be able to finally give her that rise she had been growing. She strained through the exercises, Trinity was in relatively good shape, being a field scientist made it useful but wow, Eleena was working muscles she had forgotten she had. "I'll show you sagging hips you cheeky!" She said as her body trembled, finally relieved when Eleena said to stop.

"You make that look easy, Eleena" she smiled, "did they slip some wookie in there when they were mixing you up? You are so strong" one more set, another minute of planking? She wasn't sure she could cope. "Alright, let's go, you can do this!" and she lifted herself back into the position, she was sweating and her muscles complained but she wanted to impress. Trinity tried to copy Eleena's pose and technique as best she could, the definition of her muscles through her outfit was impressive.

Trinity couldn't quite finish the full length collapsing down with seconds to go and grabbing her water bottle. "I usually judge those women that turn up to the gym and just stand by the cross trainers for thirty minutes with a smoothie, but you know they might be in to something." She laughed nervously wondering what Eleena had in store for her next.​

"I'll show you sagging hips you cheeky!" She said as her body trembled, finally relieved when Eleena said to stop.

“Just want to make sure you’re capable of performing, is all.” Eleena began coyly. “Gotta keep those hips upright and erect.” She continued, a naughty grin manifesting across her pale features as she did. “Fortunately, they don't always need to be upright. In fact, if they stay up for longer than four hours then you might want to…” The Twi’lek trailed off, covering her mouth to conceal the giggles which would have escaped from her lips.

Standing up to stretch, Eleena took a deep swig from her canteen, her features shifting towards as Trinity hinted at her having Wookiee DNA.

“Sometimes I wish they had. Gosh, you would not have wanted to see me before I got these tattooed on.” Eleena replied, gesturing to the highly-arched, precisely-shaped eyebrows situated just above her eyes. “I spent a quarter of my first paycheck on these.” She continued. “Worth every credit! Before that, I had to paint them on every day!”

Turning back to her girlfriend, Eleena inevitably felt her gaze tugged down to Trinity’s slender, athletic form, eyes briefly homing in on her collarbone, glistening with sweat which the Twi’lek found made the scientist all the more attractive, even as she struggled to keep up. Then, her eyes shifted to her core, her crop top showcasing rippling abdominal muscles that were raw with strain.

Then, she glanced back up, locked eyes with Trinity, and cleared her throat.

“Okay umm…one more rep!” She piped up, lowering herself into a side plank as she did.

“And…go!”

Trinity laughed, she had completely forgot that twi'lek females had no eyebrows, it was so common to paint them on in public, before returning to her plank she reached over and put her thumbs covering the brows. "nope, still stunning." she had been fighting the urge to keep her hands of her girlfriend since they got her, any excuse to touch her. "think the gym would mind if I hopped on top of you for some extra weight, for resistance training purposes of course." she giggle a little as she got back into position, taking a deep breath before continuing.

Her heart raced and he muscles strained, she took herself to her happy, a picnic on felucia, minus the hungry rancors of course. She collapsed in a heap with moments to go and lay on the ground enjoying the view of her girl, no rancor would mess with them if they could see Eleena right now. She blew gently towards her, hoping her breath would reach and tingle against her warm sweating skin.

As they finished that rep, Tirinity sat cross legged faxing Eleena almost in a yoga pose, cooling off a bit before the next positing came along. Now was as good a time as any "So my little queen, I have been thinking lately, and I wondered what basic training was like for you?" she looked and beckoned for Eleena to sit down in front of her and help her stretch, it was fun training with Eleena. "You know I currently have immigrant status right, the little nomad. Well, I have been thinking, and have looked into it. Certain job opportunities and activity like home ownership, health care, marriage" and she raised an eyebrow at Eleena, trying to elicit an exploratory response, even if she had no intentions yet, Citizenship took a couple of years. "those activities can be smoother for citizens. So I have been mulling the idea of signing up for the military scientific service. What do you think?"

Eleena gave a soft giggle at her girlfriend’s comment, her features flushing a stark pink shade as she began her plank. All the while, a soft, deep huff escaped from her lips, followed by a deep intake of air. Normally, the swoop ace hated laughing while working out, but with Trinity, she could never have enough.

“Resistance training? Oh, Trinity…you know I love it when you climb on top of me, but…” Eleena gave a playful, pseudo-regretful sigh as she pointed down to her own bosom, a sweet, yet weary smile on her lips in the process. “These girls are resistance training enough for me.” She continued. “How about instead, we focus on getting ready for leg work. You know how much you love spotting me~” The Twi’lek purred.

As her girlfriend rested, Eleena moved to grab dumbbells from the racks, setting them down on the mat, before doing the same with a second, slightly lighter pair, for Trinity.

"So my little queen, I have been thinking lately, and I wondered what basic training was like for you?"

After setting the dumbbells down, Eleena smiled and gently pressed her hand against her girlfriend’s chest, pushing her back down on the mat, before kneeling down in front of her. Even now, Eleena could not take her eyes off of her girlfriend, smiling as she savored the view from above, before pushing Trinity’s leg into the air.

At the mention of marriage, Eleena felt her breath stop flowing through her lungs as pink blush began to blossom on her cheeks.

“I-I think that’s a…wonderful idea!” Eleena smiled softly. “I know this is so…distant, but if we were to go through with this…you wouldn’t mind one day…” The Twi’lek swallowed. “Setting down in the Unknown Regions? Maybe somewhere like the Scintilla, Vassek, or even Bakura?”

“These girls are resistance training enough for me.”

"Hey, that's mean, I am already struggling here and you draw attention to them" she looked down and watched as a bead of sweat ran down from Eleena's neck, down her front before disappearing into her strained work out top. She was going to need a cold shower after this.

Trinity looked at the dumbness that Eleena had picked, anyone else and Trin would have been offended by the smaller set picked for her, but Eleena was a machine, no shame in being outclassed in that field by someone who was literally made for it, and thoroughly owned it too.

Her heart stopped as Eleena pushed her backwards, it was not the first time she had been push backward like that and a carnal part of her brain was expecting an entirely different chain of events to take place, but no, Eleena lifted her leg and pushed it back towards her. She was glad that Eleena hadn't freaked out at the mention of their future, and her follow up made her smile, there was no rush at all, Trinity was more than happy to live in the moment and just enjoy what they had. But she was glad she had out her cards on the table. "So you think I should sign up then? I already have the paperwork in my room, along with a present I made for you." Eleena's flushed skin had reminded her about the rose. "I would be open to that, I have never been to Bakura or Vassek? I hear Bakura is beautiful, Any reason for those in particular? And I have visited the Scintilla, its an amazing place, I do hear children raised there can be a bit of a handful though." and she laughed.

“Wait…you’re asking me?” Eleena began, confusion coloring her features when Trinity asked her what she thought of signing up for the military. In truth, the Twi’lek was beginning to feel a level of pressure that she didn’t exactly want. She knew that she would be asking a lot for Trinity to relocate to the other side of the galaxy for her, away from her family, for a girl in a dangerous career.

Eleena was only just beginning to understand the world of natural-born people, but she knew enough to realize that moving would be a massive sacrifice for Trinity, with a spectacular potential for heartbreak or tragedy.

“I-I…” Eleena stammered, occupying herself by moving over to pull up Trinity’s other leg as she did. “Actually, I’m not sure, Trinity.” She continued, swallowing as she did. “I mean the whole moving and joining the military thing.” The Twi’lek frowned.

“I’d be asking you to sacrifice a lot and…I know we love each other but…you know what I was made for and what I still continue to do, for a living.”

Then, she paused.

“I just…want this to be your own choice, is all.”

Trinity could sense Eleena's unease and needed to say something. "Stop for a moment, let me sit up." This wasn't the reaction she wanted.

Trinity sat opposite her girlfriend and put her hands on her shoulders with her fingernails gently stroking the underside of her Lekku. "OK, you mentioned moving somewhere, and while I love the idea, this is a thing for the future and a different discussion" She looked at her trying trying be reassuring that this was not meant to be a pressurised discussion.

"I am asking you for your opinion, not asking you to make decisions about my life." She smiled sweetly and let out little laugh. "Unfortunately the Empire requires service for citizenship, but it opens doors professionally to me, as well as personally. I don't want you to feel like I am rushing in to anything and giving you obligations to be anything other than what you already are." She hoped she made sense, this was for the benefit of Trinity, not something she was doing for Eleena.

"I have been considering citizenship for a little while, and while having you here is obviously a huge draw factor now, I started researching it before we even met." She continued stroking the lekku with her fingernails, trying to relax her and just show her that while her words were direct, they were coming from a place of love. She had no idea if she was messing things up right now, but that was how this worked, you had to take risks.

"Is that OK?" She said, suddenly nervous? Shall we get back to seeing how far our muscles can go before they break? "If you lie on your back I can give you legs a stretch too if you want."
