Connecting Old Ties (Yuroic/Allyson)

Rumours had circulated the Temple that Jyoti and Allyson had returned to the Silver Jedi Order. At first, Yuroic ignored them, he wasn't one for gossip then it became impossible for the information to just be rumours. When Yuroic realised this, he sent a message to Allyson to meet up and talk, it had been too long since he had seen his friend so he wanted to make sure that she was doing well and her life was going well.

Leaving his apartment, Yuroic organised his things, he was wearing a loose white shirt and some three-quarter length shorts. The summer period arrived to Kashyyyk and the humid climate was strong. To combat this, Yuroic was wearing loose clothing. Standing tall, Yuroic stretched and walked around the Temple for awhile as he thought about what he wanted to say and what he should say to Allyson after all this time.

Sitting in the cantina of the Temple, Yuroic had take a sip of his drink then looked around. Several people were idling chatting and eating as he people watched for awhile.

Allyson thought quietly on the statement, it was a concept she had finally gotten used to. It was rare for the Corellian to have a place to call home and yet here she was arriving back to one. It was nice that the SJO kept her room in order for the most part – she had to do some dusting but living temple side was nice for the time being. Corellia seemed to be getting fixed right up and she could eventually move herself there, but for now – Kashyyyk felt too much like home.

Though she wasn’t used to the heat, something she was never really the biggest fan of, but she’d get used to it. Deciding against her typical attire of looking like the story book Corellian Spacer, Allyson decided to wear a simple floral print summer dress that ended at her knees and showed off her shoulders. It didn’t take her long to find the Cantina and then Yuroic.

Upon seeing him she smiled, doing her best to forget the past they had between them. He seemed a lot better now – which was a breath of fresh air. “Hey you.” She leaned towards him with a smile as she took her seat near him.

Yuroic had luckily finished his drink by the time that Allyson had arrived, mostly because he would have spat it all out seeing her. While they had their ups and downs, he always considered Allyson one of his closest friends who helped him through the lowest points in his life. He knew the Corellian fairly well, never once had he seen her in a dress. When she sat down and said hi, Yuroic smirked to her. "Sorry, this seat is taken for my friend Allyson. She is this really cool Corellian who always wears a pilot jacket, shirt and pants."

Poking his tongue out at Allyson as he teased her for being in a dress. "Well, you look great! Seems the break did you good." Yuroic stated as he smiled warmly to her, ordering them two Corellian Whiskys. "What did you get up to? Spa day, fly around in that bucket of bolts you call a ship," Yuroic stuck his tongue out again at her.

A playful punch landed against Yuroic’s arm as he teased her. It was true, most of the Order never saw Allyson Locke outside of anything that didn’t look like she had stolen it from Han Solo’s personal closet. Shaking her head, she leaned back and accepted the ordered Corellian whiskey. Shaking the glass towards him she praised him. “You didn’t forget.”

She smiled as he listed off the possibilities of what she had been up to. Every single activity sounded to be the best thing in the world, but it was far from what she had ended up getting her nose into. Allyson had the first year away – it proved to be blissful, but she did get the itch and found herself in deep cover working an old case of hers while she was in the shadows. Still, no one knew about what she was up to except for a select few.

Lips touched the rim of the glass and she took a nice sip of the amber liquid. “You could say that.” The glass was set down after her chipper response. Eyes watched the liquid move as she tilted the glass from side to side. It was an odd feeling – being Allyson Locke again. Leaning back, she placed her hands in her lap and changed the subject. “Break did me good, but my does being a Master make you look great. I’m so proud of her Yuroic, I heard right when I touched down on Kashyyyk. What else have you been up to?”

Chuckling deeply, he rubbed his arm where she punched him. "Ow! That hurt." He said unconvincingly as poked his tongue out at her. "Sure if you saw me wearing something unusual, you would be first in line to mock." Yuroic chuckled as he found himself enjoying Allyson being back more than he realised he would. She thanked him for the drinks, "well its a good whisky so no point letting it go to waste on the other Knights and Masters." Yuroic grinned to her.

There was something amongst the joy of Allyson, their first real encounter had been when they were both undercover, which had started Yuroic's spiral downwards. Something that Yuroic was ashamed for his actions but at least he knew that they could move past all that had happened. However, since his recovery Yuroic had made some great strides in preventing it all happening again and his relationship with Jairdain was something that helped greatly in ensuring this.

He shrugged, being a Master was a huge surprise to him, he fully accepted that he wasn't going to be a Master till much later in life if he was ever going to get there. Taking a sip of his drink, Yuroic shrugged, "I fully didn't know whether or not I would ever get to be a Master, then to be offered a seat on the assembly too. It seemed ridiculous that people thought so highly of me." Yuroic admitted. "I reconnected with Jairdain, we got engaged recently. Been busy with her son as well, Marcus can be a handful, also I adopted Asaraa as my daughter so got her demanding presents for all the years I missed." Yuroic chuckled deeply as he ruffled his short hair. "So mostly family stuff, also been training my Force Powers." He didn't mention that he had been practising the dark side to Allyson, he wasn't sure that she would understand why he wanted to learn it.
