Confused, Lost but Wandering

It had been a very long time since Peritus had been in form of action as a Jedi but the adventures continue of the once famed Korun Jedi Knight...

Upon the infamous Hutt Cartel controlled planet called Nar Shaddaa, the streets were busy filled with all sorts of life. It was a great place to hide for any being to escape their past or any kind of troublesome events that led to go into hiding. Many refugees can be seen begging for scraps to just survive that one day and repeat the process all over again. To other it seemed pointless of them to carry on such actions but to the refugees it was dear to them. An elderly human watched the refugees continue to beg and receive nothing from their actions, they were polite in doing so. The man walked over with some supplies contained in backpacks for them to use, he gave the supplies over to them. Their eyes lit up but were confused to see his face was concealed by his hood, the shade of it.

"Save up these supplies provided to you, my fellows. It is rare for any being to act kindly and answer your needs these days. Especially on a world such as Nar Shaddaa." He spoke with a deep voice but a soft tone.

"Thank you sir! We'll never forget this! We do not have a home to go back to.." A female Twi'lek said to him.

"Hmm. Perhaps you can spend some time in my apartment. I warn you though I like to keep certain topics to myself. Are we in an agreement miss?" He asked as his head turned.

"Of course, sir. We'll even help you around this world and provide services in your apartment." A male Zabrak answered the human.

"Very well. We can head off now, there are facilities available for you all to make yourselves comfortable. I do prefer not having anyone do tasks for me. I am still capable and independent in looking out for myself y'know." He replied to the Zabrak.

"How far is your apartment sir?" A young female Kel Dor asked.

"Just a few blocks from here. I prefer to center my focus on those that have came to unfortunate standards of living these days. Help out where I can for instance prepare fellow civilians for their next ventures in this galaxy." He said to the trio.

The group headed off away from the crowded streets following the human male's lead to his apartment. It wasn't anything fancy or divine when they stepped inside the facility but at least it felt like a home to reside within. The trio of refugees went off to clean themselves up and replace their torn, dirty clothes into a waste disposal unit and wear fresh clothing. Their mood had been lifted positively from that moment. The human began making some food prepping it all for them to eat and regain lost energy. The Kel Dor girl noticed the man had left open a chest of what appeared to be Jedi robes, a utility belt and a lightsaber hilt. Stunned by spotting this the man just smiled down to her giving a curt bow with his head. The others didn't notice the actions just happy to have some food and drink in their system. A few droids were seen in the apartment doing some scans and checking over the apartment's electronic systems.

OOC NOTICE: This is my first topic in a while since I was last active. It is a slight opener to reveal small fragments of where Peritus has been and what he is doing now. I'll not give anything away on where I am taking the character to. Better for those who want to be involved to roleplay and gain the IC knowledge of this character's activities. Final note, it is good to be back and I'll try to update myself on where things have progressed with certain members I am known to.

The Hutt Cartel had long since lost their control over Shaddaa, with the now dwindling Techno Union absorbing the moon into its sphere of influence... With that said, however, there were still many sectors on the world which retained a criminal underground, where some of the more bold Hutts had taken to set up shop.

This wasn't why Mysa found herself roaming through the undercity, however. It wasn't the pesky Hutts or their black market. Mysa had been tracking a smuggler for some time now, who had stolen several Vhaanir from Midvinter. Well, safe to say she wouldn't stand for that. The Vhaanir were sacred.

She had tracked them from Midvinter, to Muskree, and finally to Shaddaa. No doubt her parents would be worried, even upset with her for wandering off the way that she had, but if she didn't do this now then who knew what would happen to her beloved Godly creatures.

Back on Muskree she had managed to place a transmitter against the hull of their ship before they fled like the cowards they were. Perhaps she'd have better luck if she told Furry about the incident, but the Grandmaster was always so busy and she hated bothering him, even if he was her Uncle. Even if he was like a Father to her.

She also could've spoken to Théo, got some assistance from him, but she knew he was busy training. After all, he was a Knight now. She was so proud of her little brother, he'd come so far.

That left just Mysa. On a world so alien to her that she felt suffocated by the polluted air and buildings which were too tall and closely packed together.

This was definitely not Midvinter.

Haileigh had a ton of experience with crazy ecumenopolises. Coruscant, at least to her, was not different from Nar Shaddaa. Both of them were large, rich and hid a mysterious criminal undercity below the beautiful surface. Even the thought of such a dark area being under the very ground on which the girl's feet stood made her nauseous.

But she was there.

Exploring new planets was her passion and her hobby, as well as a lifestyle. She wasn't trying to gather memories or knowledge of places. She was more interested in the practical values of having visited many planets -- that was, useful relationships, knowledge of where to steal some things, or maybe even artefacts to take with her as she was leaving. These were the things Haileigh lived for, and she doubted there was anything bad about it.

In the busy world in the even busier galaxy, everybody had to stand for themselves. And if they failed, they failed. Her opinions about the Jedi didn't matter here, though. Even though she saw them as a group of hopeless individuals, she had to admire their way of thinking -- at least they didn't lose hope and didn't give up even if they knew they would never succeed with their utopic goals.

She stood on the streets of Nar Shaddaa, looking at the people who all seemed to mind their own business. She would have wanted to hear the thoughts of every single one of them and delve deep into them. But she didn't have the power and time to do so.

So instead, she had to find the one whom she would get the most out of.

Meanwhile back in the apartment with the four, they had finished eating and began to settle down in the lounge area. From there on, the Korun human headed off outside his apartment. A flicker in the Force itself indicated there was another or perhaps a few more Force Sensitive beings on Nar Shaddaa. The Korun didn't like this feeling and began to investigate why it was calling out to him.

Leaving his party of newly found colleagues the human headed off down into the streets to track down the aura or auras in this dim and brief moment he had sensed on Nar Shaddaa. He didn't allow such a feature develop this far with his abilities. He wanted to remain out of the loop, live in peace whilst aiding other galactic citizens around him whilst he ventured. It had been a very long time since he had detected such abilities through the Force itself. He was not curious, no he wanted to ensure there wouldn't be any trouble coming his way and sought to keep the peace near him. Walked on down the streets, passing some alleys and buildings along the way. He stopped, his senses indicated the presence grew nearer as he continued his journey towards it. Though he couldn't tell where the exact source was coming from as the Force binds all lifeforms and penetrates it too.

He was only armed with his lightsaber hilt but kept it concealed from plain public sight not to blow his cover in case the individual or group spotted him. For all he knew, this could be a trap set out for him to fall into. Alert and wary of his surroundings he pressed down the streets to reach a strong point of where he had felt the presence. It had been a long time since the Korun stretched out his capabilities in using the Force this way. Felt like retraining his body, mind and spirit to jump start his system to gain further knowledge of what was waiting on him. Finally he had reached to a certain point in the streets where the presence was sensed at its highest volume. He began to scan around trying to pick out who or what wasn't originally here as a regular presence on Nar Shaddaa.

Blissfully unaware of the other Force Users in the vicinity little Snowstrider kept up her intrepid search for the poached Vhaanir. The tracking device was leading her down some shady alleyways which might have had her scared did she not feel the presence of the Gods and their protection around her.

Odiir was ever at her back, pushing her forth into a new found destiny. Runa stood with a hand against her shoulder, supportive yet fierce. Teign could be found within the weapons on her back and belt, while Éar resided in the cloak upon her shoulders and the deftness of her approach. Then there was Helm. He resided within her core, inside the steadfast desire to do right by those she deemed her people... To return to them some of their most valuable wildlife.

All at once the HUD for the tracking system showed an end to her path. It led to what seemed to be a dead end, but Mysa knew better than to take that as a fact. Instead she glanced around the alleyway in search of something out of place. A random hatch in the ground or indentation in the wall.

She knew that the ship was here, whether above, below, or beside.

All she had to do was look.

All she had to do was sense.

Jan whistled as he walked the streets of Nar Shadda. He loved tight, cramped enclosed places. Somebody could get sharked and nobody would be able to tell who did it. The tall towers overhead just gave so many opportunities for sniping positions. The people gave no kraks about anybody around here. They have seen it all, and would keep on seeing it until their pathetic lives ended. The only things that bothered Jan was the polluted air and the loud noises. On Tatooine the air was clear as ever, and you could feel it move over your skin. The noises just made it harder to hear individuals. Jan had to focus just to hear what someone was saying a couple feet from him.

It was beautiful though . After the Techno Union fell, the Black Tie Syndicate had been taking over some of their territory. After they succeeded they put in puppet governments and continued to operate from behind the scenes. It was good, and it payed well. Their smuggling and drug operations have been bringing in many credits. Jan was actually having trouble spending them. He was never used to this much money.

The problem was the Hutts and smugglers tried to bring themselves into the picture. They tried to make a gain off the fallen Techno Union. Jan's job was simple. To tell them they couldn't....in many forms of beatings or killings. Jan had heard around that some smugglers have been trying to sell some exotic animals on the black market. Jan had to go to his usual informants, and stab some heads(he doesn't knock). Jan had finally pinpointed the district that they supposedly were holed up in. Jan was walking down some streets when he took a moment to check his HUD to make sure he hadn't fallen off couse. The streets of Nar Shadda can be tricky sometimes. Jan didn't notice until too late that he was in the path of someone who seemed to be staring at everyone who walked by her. Jan walked right into the girl and they both fell to the ground. Jan tried to grab onto the girl so he wouldn't lose balance, but instead pulled her to the ground with him. Jan let out a small "OUFF" as the girl landed on him.

"Pay attention to your surroundings! Who stands still on a busy street?" Jan said angrily, even though it was his fault.

The Korun human male kept en-route of his journey used his Force abilities under the sensory category to find out if anything out of the ordinary was going on. The streets were always filled with odd characters, pollution in the atmosphere, the racket of shuttles passing through. Even a Force Sensitive would struggle in concentrating towards achieving inner peace itself. Some sounds were nice to hear once in a while, bands playing certain tunes brought back some memories to the Korun. He had glanced around the streets and alleyways to keep his awareness on form after coming to a halt just perhaps based on the side-view from the streets. Caution came upon the Korun's mind as he could see certain vantage points from the roofs and knew all to well that pick-pocketing was famous in crowd and cramped streets on any world, Nar Shaddaa being one.

A sudden surge in the Force swirled its energy field around the Korun's senses a strong point where the presence he had felt on the sector was now very, very close by. He began to trace the source and after a little while studying beings over. There he had two civilians on the ground looked as though they had collided with one another and fell to the concrete surface. He didn't offer to help them just yet, he was unsure who they were and what connections or ties they held in the Galaxy. He could make out the duo were male and female, the male seemed an obvious mercenary from his tone and attire worn. On the other hand, the female seemed to enabled with the Force through using senses by the Korun to detect the affinity. It was not a darkened aura once he had felt it but seemed to be at its early phases of control.

With age came experience and wisdom knowing when to get involved and not involve one self to any situation that didn't warrant it. Kept a sharp lookout for anything suspicious whilst the two gathered their thoughts and bring themselves back up to stand properly. Two things could in front of the Korun, an argument occurs and leads to a fight OR two apologize to each other continue in their journeys and not cause a scene. Nar Shaddaa didn't provide many civilized beings very rare to find anyone caring, kind and polite enough to put moments aside and focus on their main priorities in life. Been residing on this part of the planet, the Korun expected this confrontation to perhaps take minor turns of the worst but not last very long. He'd be surprised if this little bump 'n run caused major casualties whilst other events unfolded around them all.

"Who the kark walks into other people like that?" the girl didn't leave the man who'd walked right into her without a reply. Yes, the streets may have been really busy, but that meant people had to be more careful, not wander around, at least her logic told her that. "... you messed up creature..." she added quietly.

As she tried to stand up to her feet again, she shook some dirt off of her clothes, but didn't give a kark about the man. Of course she felt disturbed and angry at him -- and she would not keep these emotions in her.

She turned towards a man who was obviously looking at the two in the distance. A part of her wanted to yell at him, but she decided not to do so. She was a better person than that -- she wouldn't project her anger at one person to somebody else.

"I hope you stumble into a lamp post one day," she added.

He watched the two separate from the crash, his focus high. The Force revealed the young woman surrounded by a darkened aura of energy and the Korun didn't like a being with such darkness residing in them. He waited for the Mercenary to react to her words and actions. Perhaps some of the law enforcement units would be sent out to this district to ensure everything is secured and nothing gets caught in a cross-fire of violence. None had arrived yet by the looks of it and a few spectators grew a little concerned but majority just shunned it aside this being the norm to them. The Twi'lek, Kel Dor and Zabrak caught up with him managed to track him down through the racket being heard nearby. The Korun was surprised to see them here but was concerned they might have walked into an unsettled environment area of Nar Shaddaa's streets.

"Hello sir. We saw you weren't inside and thought something happened to you." The young female Kel Dor spoke.

"Well Jeyna he is safe and sound, told you. He'd be fine without us pestering him." The Zabrak male said catching his breath.

"Daemus she just wanted to thank him properly and introduce herself to him. The female Twi'lek frowned towards Daemus.

"Okay okay. He knows our names now, Thaina. We can thank him back in his apartment." Daemus said to the pair.

"Peritus Vis is my name young one." The Korun human male finally introduced himself to the small group.

The group smiled and chuckled to each other with relief upon their minds. This was a good cover for Peritus whilst he patiently waited for anything else to unfold in the area to cover his trail from anyone that may have noticed his presence. Kept a mask through the Force upon his own energy not allowing any Force Sensitive to detect him. Trust was a very rare asset to find within Peritus, he has coped with betrayals in the past which makes him more difficult to form a relationship based off trust. He turned his attention over to the pair that collided with each other seeing the woman stand up from the knock then back over. The group were chatting away between themselves whilst other activities occurred in the streets. Peritus on the other hand didn't lower his guard, a hand was near his waistline but unseen to majority of the public.

As she walked along the alleyway in search of something, Mysa felt a satisfying crunch beneath her feet. Wary of looking down, for truly it could have been anything in a place like this, it was with utter dismay that she found the source of the noise to be the transmitter.

She hadn't been as shifty as she might have liked.

Stooping down to swipe it up, in hopes of fixing it at a later date, Mysa pocketed the transmitter and turned on her heels only to be met with the butt of a rifle.

Head swimming, ears ringing, she sat in place on the ground where she'd fallen for a few moments before rough arms grabbed her and started pulling her back through the alleyway toward the busy street beyond.

No one would take notice, it was a usual sight here on Nar Shaddaa to see people being hauled from one place to another. It wasn't exactly the greatest place in the Galaxy, this hive of scum and villainy.

Mysa tried to scream, but if anything sounded it was drowned out by the rabble.

And here she thought she was just dealing with simple poachers. She wasn't too great at this mission thing...

Peritus picked up a disturbance through the Force that danger was very much close by. He went off to investigate the sensation he had felt after informing his new found party to return back inside his apartment. Warned them of a danger that was present in the streets. They followed his request, disappearing off into the crowded streets to return back to the apartment where they'd be safe. With that out of the way Peritus can now really focus on tracking down this disturbance within the Force. He did not waste any time or let anything, anyone delay him in his journey. He dipped out of the streets into the alleys to remain out of the public eye. The energy grew stronger as he continued to down the alleyways and being alert of crooks or ambushes. He kept a hand near his utility belt, the old Sentinel lightsaber hilt being in a holster.

He then called out to the thugs that were pulling a young lady further into the alleyway. "You should really pick a better job, gentleman. Let the young woman go and you won't be arrested or harmed. Don't make it hard."

Peritus looked to the young girl within their grasp, he gave a brief wink over to her for some reassurance. The Korun didn't reveal much to the crooks who were holding Mysa hostage for the current moment. He was ready to draw out the lightsaber hilt in case the worst had came about before him. He wasn't hesitating in using the weapon and kept a sharp out for anyone else that would join in, expanding his senses through the Force. Whilst his senses were expanding he detected that the energy of the young woman was the source of the lightside aura he felt very, very briefly when entering this part of Nar Shaddaa. The calling had come forth, but why..

Jan quickly got up and looked at the girl that tripped into him. It was just a young teen, maybe barely an adult. Jan felt his emotions fall a little bit at the sight. She was either a street urchin, or someone new to the planet. Nobody her age should be walking these streets alone. Jan listened as the girl called him a "creature" and mentioning about she hoped he walked into a light post. Jan didn't want to cause any trouble, he had a job. He wasn't going to let her off that easy though.

" HAha that the best you can come up with kid? I hope you trip yourself in front of a speeder, and get run over. There, we both insulted each other and are even. So, if you won't mind I got places to be. You are either a tourist from the way you've been looking around, or high. So here's my advice, get off the street before it gets too late. There are some.....less nice people then me that come out. But if you don't want to take advice from a "creature" like me, well then go krak yourself. The cops wil find your body in the morning." Jan said as he brushed dirt from the street off his arms.

Jan got up and walked away from the girl. He put the HUD tracker back on, and proceeded to follow it to the location he was given. Jan soon started to end up in a maze of alleys. Jan took an Ambassador revolver in his hand, as he got closer to the location, and in case anyone dumb enough tried to mug him. It was unbelievable what poor people will do for some credits.

Jan soon came upon a final destination, and came upon quite a scene. It looked like another kidnapping was going on, which wasn't anything new on Nar Shadda. What made this one particularly different was there seemed to be an old geezer confronting the kidnappers. Jan almost sighed at the man's stupidity. Granted it did look like he was reaching for a weapon. Jan listened as the man told the men they would not be arrested or harmed. Jan did a small smile to himself when he hard that. That man wasn't a cop, Jan could tell. Any hardened criminal could tell. So Jan decided to intervene, to help the old man and the woman, but more to get info from the thugs. They might know where the smugglers are. The old man did threaten to arrest them....

"Don't move! Nar Shadda Law Enforcement! On the ground, or I will shoot to kill!" Jan shouted as he stepped into the alley and slowly approached the old man from behind, whiling aiming at the thugs with the women. "Sorry I'm late partner. I called in backup."

OOC Note: Sorry I was a little late with post.

Peritus kept his sights on the thugs before him holding Mysa in their grasp, keeping some distance. When the apparent Law Enforcement Officer appeared and stated to the thugs he would shoot to kill if they did not cooperate. Brief scan towards what Jan was wearing, trying to spot an official ID or garments that would give indications he was the real deal. Time wasn't on Peritus' side though and decided to play along with this stranger that got involved. Peritus kept his right hand, his dominant side, near his waistline closing in on gripping his lightsaber hilt should the situation go sour. His left hand remained at the side, calm and relaxed but whilst silent when Jan made his approach the Korun decided to channel the Force down into his free hand. Prepared himself for anything to come hurtling his way should this confrontation turn into an all-out brawl among the individuals involved. He took one step forward to close the gap slightly between him and the thugs.

"Yeah.. partner. Good you called backup for this situation. What kept you?!" Peritus replied to Jan with a raised tone to show he's playing along. He didn't make it too obvious for anyone else to pick it up, it was clear whoever Jan was had different purposes in mind. Main concern for the current moment on Peritus' mind was freeing Mysa from being a hostage.

This situation felt all too familiar in his younger days as a Jedi, it reminded the Korun of his student Asha Seren. The concept of being within a sticky situation just reminded Peritus of her briefly but he pressed on to resolve the current situation he was in now. His eyes dead set upon the thugs in front of him, a stare down between them all. Waiting to see which individual would make the first move.

As she began to leave her dazed state, Mysa was able to discern more information about the men around her. One within her peripheral was a Rodian, but she knew that there were at least two others from the sounds of things. Whoever had hold of her had to be strong, their grip was like a vice!

Mysa knew that she had to at least try to escape, but how? Perhaps if they became distracted, or...

A voice boomed over the alleyway, causing the one holding her to first tense and then pull her backward into a tighter grip. She felt what could only be the barrel of a blaster set against her temples.

"E chu ta!" the one behind her spat as a secondary individual arrived. Surely the lumbering oaf couldn't have been a Hutt! No, but did this mean that they worked for a Hutt? Ugh, this was getting worse with each passing moment.

From the side she watched as the Rodian stepped forward, fingers twitching near his holsters. He didn't want to end up like Greedo.

"Hutt business, be on your way" he slurred, in very broken Basic, eyeing them up as if those words held meaning in these parts. Yep, definitely working for the Hutts.

Mysa tried to put her nickname to good use and wriggle out of the man behind her's grip, but all that earned her was a tighter grip. If she made it through this day, there'd be more than a few bruises to explain to her parents.

By now the true task at hand seemed so far away. Was there any hope for getting out of this, finding the poached Vhaanir... And going home in one piece?

[member="Peritus Vis"] [member="Jan Valdum"] [member="Haileigh Dheed"]

Peritus scanned the three individual thugs carefully whilst he had some time to assess their capabilities and weaponry. Not forgetting about the man who claimed to be his partner and an officer of law enforcement. The energy charged through his free hand and arm discharged around the three thugs. Their bodies began to freeze and cease functioning any types of movements to retaliate against the Force Stasis Field used upon them all. It was with a quick flick of his left arm and hand he emitted the channeled energy out to the Rodian, human and Valkyri beings. He slipped his right hand over onto his lightsaber hilt holster but did not show active intentions to use the weapon just yet. Using the Force did take a bit of a toll on the Korun human though, he wouldn't be able to use another technique for a brief period of time had enough energy to perform normal activities.

"Hutt business.. I've heard that too often and one thing I learned. Never trust a Hutt, always neutral." Peritus said aloud whilst he took Mysa away from the group.

He turned his sight towards Jan with Mysa coming alongside him away from any harm thankfully. Peritus towered over the man and glanced down to into his eyes not showing signs of hostility or peace just yet. He looked back over to the frozen thugs behind him and Mysa. He sighed a little, turned back to face Jan as he began to walk along the streets with Mysa hopefully following behind him. He paused in his tracks to speak out to Jan.

"I hope you do have some backup, sir. It wouldn't be wise to stick around for long. They are all yours to deal with partner." The Korun continued to walk away from the alley out into the street, the Stasis Field began to gradually wear off from the thugs as Peritus made his departure from the alleyway.

He stopped with Mysa alongside him within a clear and safe distance away from the thugs. Looking down to her with a smile, another glimpse into his memories he ended up visioning Asha being Mysa. He then snapped back into reality ready to speak to her. He knelt down to be at her height roughly to reveal he was friendly and not here to cause any kinds of trouble towards her. Offered a hand out to her to make a handshake between the two. "And what is your name, young lady?" He asked Mysa whilst knelt down on his knees.

It all happened in an instance.

One minute she was held at gunpoint, the next she was released from that grasp. Though she did not immediately move. It felt too good to be true, even if she did sense the Force at work here. A slight breeze picked up, urging her forward, and since Mysa was not in the habit of ignoring Odiir's wishes she took her first step with bated breath.

No hand reached for her, no trigger fired a bolt into her back.

She could breathe again, and with that came an immediate need to leave the area. Her breathing was somewhat laboured as she realized how close to death she had just been. The man who had saved her began to walk, expecting her to follow, but Mysa had come here with a task in mind and she would not be so quick to discard it.

Turning on her heels she stared over the three individuals. A Rodian, a human and... No.

Mysa spat in the direction of the final individual. "You dare disgrace your people, your Gods, by desecrating the Vhaanir?"

Hands balled into fists as she took two sharp steps toward the Valkyri male, lips pulled back into a snarl. The sacred creatures of Midvinter were not to be touched by man nor woman, and they most certainly were not to be taken off world. Mysa felt an unparalleled connection to the Vhaanir, as the one her brother knew as Belawir had graced them with his presence once.

Besides, the Valkyri Gods were her own... And the Vhaanir were made in their visage. They were Gods among the earth.

"Where are they?" Her tone was harsher than it had ever been before, filled with a purpose. "Where are you keeping them?"

Fingers twitched toward her lightsaber hilt, which lay upon her belt, as she saw the effects of the stun begin to wear off.

"I am Mysa Snowstrider of Midvinter, and in the name of High King Thrand Dawnbringer I order you to answer me!"

The man muttered off a response, a shaky hand lifting toward one of the mini-hangars built into the skyscrapers. His eyes were fixated upon the lightsaber which was now in her hand - while it was disignited he knew the sight of it.

Mysa spent no time at all waiting, and instead turned to walk toward the place which had been pointed out. "If you arrest these men, make sure the Valkyri is sent back to Midvinter to face justice."

She could not abide traitors.

Her eyes fell upon the Jedi who had saved her, for there was no doubting he was a Jedi at this point even if the others did not see it, and she gave him a grateful nod of the head.

"Can you help me with this?" she asked him, as she reached the hangar which was just a few feet from where the men were. Inside the Deer-like Vhaanir would be waiting. And she fully intended to bring them home.

[member="Peritus Vis"] [member="Jan Valdum"] [member="Haileigh Dheed"]

Once the Korun Jedi had witnessed what was seen through the young girl's actions he wasn't pleased to see such aggression come from an individual who wielded the Force and a lightsaber to add on. Though he saw Mysa was deeply attached to the creatures she called Vhaanir news to Peritus. When she showed appreciation of his actions to save Mysa from any harm, he returned a bow from his head to her. He then walked alongside her towards the hangar she was provided with from the thugs who held her hostage. Installing fear into another being wasn't keeping the peace nor bringing justice around to the crimes committed, this was a lesson the young girl would need to learn thoroughly if she were to continue on in her lifestyle.

"I'll help you, of course. What do you need me to do?" Peritus asked Mysa.

He went into the direction of the mini-hangar built inside the skyscraper building to see what the creatures looked like and find out more why this young Force-user was tracking them, obviously to free them from any contraband deals made. Something else made the Korun Jedi explore what were the reasons behind Mysa's actions, he knew very little. Perhaps they were a rare species from a particular planet that would be worth fortunes to the right buyers but in what way did they attract such attention in Smugglers and Mercenaries like the ones he just confronted. A hand near his lightsaber hilt, he went off to aid the young girl to find these creatures in the hangars and skyscraper buildings. He had hoped this wouldn't lead to more trouble which they just got out of.

Jan stood with his gun cocked when he noticed the three thugs freeze and be still like statues. Jan slowly turnedto the old man and cocked his head. "Guess we didn't need the backup". Jan said as he still had the revolver in his hand. The old man was a Jedi, no doubt about. This was the Force in use. Jan's hand twitched on the trigger. He didn't trust Jedi.....but the old man hadn't acted hostile yet. So Jan lowered the revolver and nodded to the man.

Peritus Vis said:
"I hope you do have some backup, sir. It wouldn't be wise to stick around for long. They are all yours to deal with partner." The Korun continued to walk away from the alley out into the street,
Jan cracked his knuckles and started to reach for the knives. He would first get any info on the smugglers, then he would(cough cough) arrest them. Jan started to advance on the thugs, when the hostage the Jedi had just saved beat him to it. Jan listened to the big outburst of the young girl. Surprised that a Jedi would show so much aggression and emotion in the field. Maybe she was new, or doubtful of her choices. Jan shook his head and leaned against the alley wall and watched as the thugs gave up the location of the exotic creatures and most likely the smugglers. Well, that worked better than cutting off some body parts and leaving scars. Jan mentally noted to get a light saber in the future, made interrogations more efficient.

Jan listened as the young girl asked for help, and told him to make sure the thugs and the Valkyri were taken care of. Jan smiled underneath his helm and went up to the frightened thugs, "So....kidnapping and working for the Hutts.....today's not your day." Jan said as he took out his revolver.
"I have no attention of leaving you for the cops, knowing how unefficent they are. You could be out in a couple days, depending on who you know. SO..........." Jan took out a knife and casually twirled it around his hand. Jan stood there staring at the thugs. He suddenly took his revolver and shot the Valkrie in the face. He then shot the human too and the Rodian,

Jan walked out of the alley whistling and saw the two Jedi stare at him with frowns. Jan cocked his head to the side.

".....They resisted....Anyway, I'll help you recover whatever you want. While I come alone and get what I want. You looking for the animals right? Well yo can have them, I want the smugglers. Think of this as a...alliance. I won't harm you if you don't give me reason too. Use you Force powers or whatever to figure if I'm telling the truth, which I am. So,how do you want to do this?" Jan asked nonchalantly.

Peritus looked over towards Jan where he slightly revealed he wasn't apart of any Law Enforcement organizations, he looked to Mysa then back. The man showed interest in finding the so called 'Smugglers' whilst Mysa and himself went to look for the creatures being stashed away. He scanned Jan up and down for a moment seeing no hostility coming from his person. Seeing the three crooks fall to the ground, lifeless now. The Korun Jedi wasn't impressed and didn't find it necessary for them to be killed. A few restraints would have sufficed but it was partially his fault for leaving Jan to deal with them alone in his own way. Peritus would have rather seen the thugs locked up, no matter how long they served their time at least justice would have been brought about. Jan's actions weren't justified, it was cold-blood murder.

"They might have been criminals but there was no need to just kill them. Least locked up they'd have felt a taste of justice as well as guilt." Peritus said to Jan.

"So why are you here? Who are you really? I know you're not apart of any law enforcement on this world." Peritus sussing out the nature of Jan's interests.

The Korun Jedi was unsure to fully commit in forming an alliance with Jan seeing what he had done to detained Smugglers in an alleyway. Thinking a lot of danger and risks may come about if he allows Jan to join them in their task. Not to mention that he saw the anger within Mysa, who had lashed out to the Valkyri. Peritus had to be cautious of that as well as Jan's brute and ruthless methods in getting things accomplished. Attracting attention with the Hutts wasn't on Peritus' intentions, just had a stroll out on the streets and try to help out anyone in distress. Risky enough to intervene on a gang of thugs picking on Mysa and rescue her from any further harm from those goons. Peritus looked down over to Jan debating with himself, some extra support can be a bonus not knowing what lies ahead in these hangars within the skyscrapers. However, seeing first hand of what Jan can do places a lot of doubt in aligning with the man even if it's temporary.

"If you want to form an alliance with us. I suggest you don't go on a killing spree, in my eyes there may be crooks out there but don't deserve a death sentence. Don't lie to either of us if you want some trust while you tag along. Lastly, if we confront any resistance we disable them, disarm them from any weapons and put them in restraints where possible. Understand?" Peritus states to Jan and Mysa.
