Confessions of a Shopaholic

Location: Avalonia Garden District

Shopping.

Sometimes it was as simple as two friends searching for the perfect outfit for a night on the town or a day spent lounging around their home.

Sometimes it was a mission to fins the perfect set of armor for the impending war with the Galactic Alliance.

Whatever it was, Ara loved it. The garden district was easily her favorite location in the city, fountains and unique architecture lending every corner it's own surprises and delights. The disciple paused near on of the fountains that dotted the entire quarter of the capital city and breathed deep, once again delighted that a city could smell so clean, so fresh, and alive.

She dipped a hand into the water and smile as the cool liquid flowed through her fingers, falling against stone as she pulled away. Wiping her hand on the soft tan pants she'd chosen for the day, the disciple turned and raised an eyebrow at her flame-haired friend as she lagged behind.

"Are you coming or do I need to drag you? I swear, if we miss our appointment with the armorer, I am going to buy you the slinkiest dress and I can find and making you go bar hoping with me in it."

Her eyes narrowed, a deep chuckle accompanied the statement. It was an empty threat, Ara was planning on doing so anyways, but one she knew Kaalia would respond to regardless.

[member="Kaalia Voldaren"]

Maybe she should've done this alone. Taking [member="Ara Ren"] along probably, in hindsight, wasn't Kaalia's brighest idea. Although she agreed with her friend that a touch up of her choice of attire was most definitely needed, she wasn't looking forward to getting dragged along every store that piqued the interest of the more excited of the two. At least Ara was good company. "I think we both know you're going to do that anyway, whether I come along or not. Besides, let me enjoy the last few steps that I can take without being bogged down by bags." The words were accompanied by a chuckle. "The fact I think this was needed doesn't mean I like it. Besides, we have more than enough time to make it to the armorer in time."

The Garden district really was a sight to behold. Kaalia'd be able to aimlessly wander this place for an entire day while lost in thought, the sheer beauty of it making it an amazing place to unwind. Today wasn't a day to unwind however, instead it was Ara's opportunity to once again drag the redhead along to do something she'd never do herself. She wasn't a shopper, not at all actually, but she felt this time it was necessary. The old Kaalia would've never agreed to this, she would always wear simple robes, but she wasn't that version of her anymore. She finally embraced who she truly was, and as a way to symbolically burn the rotting corpse of who she used to be the woman decided to drastically change up her wardrobe. Was it going to be a tedious day? Yes. Would it be worth it? Yes, absolutely.

Offering a wink and sly grin, Ara chuckled and joined her friend, grabbing her hand and steering the younger woman towards a shop filled with clothing that ran the gamut of colors. Everything from sparkling royal hues to matte blacks and greys. The silky fabrics glimmered in the sunlight and neon lights placed around the boutique with the intent of drawing out the best aspects of the garments.

"Of course I will." She turned a wicked smile towards her friend, her eyes having lit on a bright green dress that showed more skin than it covered. Sequins and gems sewn into clear mesh created branches and vines twisted across the chest and trailing down the arms.

Eyeing her friend's figure, the smile grew as Ara dragged them into the store without waiting for a response.

"You are right, was have plenty of time before we have to be there."

She tugged the girl towards the nearest sales associate accompanied by a small droid.

"My friend here would like to try that on, if you'd please."

Ara pointed to the garment in question and tugged [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] towards the rooms designated for trying on clothing and accessories. As the associate scrambled to procure the requested dress, the brunette settled her friend in a room and leaned against the door.

"Before you protest too much," She purred through the door. "You are either trying these on or swimsuits. Your choice. And yes, you must come out of that room and show me for a reasonable minute before tearing it off again."

She settled onto a settee, politely accepting a glass of wine that was offered. Taking a sip of the fruity, bubbling liquid, she reclined against the plush fabric and waited.

Kaalia sighed as she was tugged towards the changing rooms. She was okay with a lot of things, but dresses weren't her preferred style of garment to say the least. She smiled and nodded at the assistant as he handed her the dress, then turned to [member="Ara Ren"] and slightly shook her head. "Why do I keep agreeing to this..." The redhead took a quick glance at the dress, shrugged her shoulders and went inside one of the rooms.

The woman looked at herself in the mirror before changing, refreshing her memory of how her scar looked like. She smirked for a second. Her opinion on the mark had changed drastically. Where it had little to no value to her before, it now meant a lot. It was proof of her power, evidence she wasn't one to roll over and die. A sense of pride washed over her as she inspected it a bit closer. "I've definitely seen worse-looking scars." she thought to herself as she pulled away from the mirror. Kaalia decided to just get it over with, quickly changing into the dress. She looked in the mirror once again, and shrugged. It definitely wasn't her taste, but it would keep Ara happy to see her in it.

The redhead stepped out of the room to see Ara on a settee with a glass of wine. "I see you've made yourself comfortable already." Her naked feet made their way over to her, with a nonchalant look on her face. "Well, here you go. Feast your eyes."

Eyebrows winged up as the red-head stepped out, her trim figure complimented by the thin fabric and high cut hemline. Ara took another sip of wine before whistling and standing. Circling the girl slowly, she appraised every curve and fall of trim and fabric. The hemline accented [member="Kaalia Voldaren"]'s long legs, even without the addition of heels.

Ara crooked a finger, summoning the associate over and whispering in her ear before the woman scampered off. Offering her friend a sip of her wine, she took one more pass around Kaalia and stopped in front of the younger Ren.

"That looks splendid on you."

Stepping forward and brushing a strand of hair off of Kaalia's shoulder, she smiled as the associate rushed over with a pair of clear, five-inch stilettos.

"And these will match perfectly."

Ara took the shoes and passed them off to the girl with a wink. Turning away and accepting a new glass of wine, she draped herself back across the settee and saluted her friend with the glass.

"You have more outfits to try on. The sooner you do, the sooner we can leave."

While they'd talked, the two sales associates, with the assistance of the droid, had filled the dressing room with a multitude of outfits the brunette had pointed out.

Suspicion was raised when [member="Ara Ren"] called over an associate, and Kaalia watched as her friend whispered something in her ear. She gladly took a sip of the wine, savoring the taste before handing the glass back. "If you say so, Ara. If you say so." A strand of her hair was brushed off of her shoulder, causing her to shrug. It was obvious that Ara was way more focussed on details than she was.

"What's ne-" The associate presented heels that made the redhead raise an eyebrow. She took the clear stilettos from Ara and watched the associate scurry off again. Kaalia then looked at Ara with eyes that just screamed the words 'Are you kidding me?' making it obvious she was not amused. "I appreciate that you're trying to help me with this, but I'm not a masochist. The heels at the ball were bad enough, but these? These are nothing short of torture devices." She set the heels down on the floor, turned around and started walking towards the dressing room. "I'll try out the rest, but I'm not wearing those. Period. I like being able to walk normally." It was likely that Ara wouldn't take no for an answer, but this was out of the question. It was not happening.

Kaalia picked the first outfit on the rack that she found in the room, and got out of the dress to change into it. She appraised herself in the mirror for a bit before coming back out. "Hopefully I've given you enough time to get over your disappointment. Here's number two." She put the strand of hair Ara brushed off earlier back on purpose back in the dressing room, just to see how she would react.

Ara chuckled, picking the heels up with an easy burst of power and setting them over by the couch she was lounging on. She'd find a way to get her friend to wear them, it would just take the right leverage. Another few sips of wine while she waited, she responded to the red-head's comment about shoes being used as torture devices.

"They may be difficult to walk in, but they are powerful weapons in their own right. Have you ever seen a man look at a woman in a short dress and heels?" Although her friend would be unable to the sparkle in her eyes, but the amused lilt carried through the changing area. "And when you get the drop on them because of it, they look on their face will have been worth it."

She wasn't sure if the look on the assistant's face was one of terror or appreciation, Ara suspected it was a bit of both. She ran a finger around the rim of her glass, watching a couple of other patrons enter the shop and occupy the attention of the sales associates for a moment.

Inside the changing room, a collection of clothing had been picked out. The clothing ranged from reasonable, slacks of the finest silks and fabrics with matching tunics, to dresses so short she knew Kaalia would refuse to even try them on. In a way, this was a test. What would this new, emboldened Kaalia do with the outfits provided? Ara grinned to herself as she waited.

When her friend emerged, the disciple tipped her glass, eyeing the tan pants and dark green shirt with appreciation. She nodded once and tilted her head. "Now that outfit would look amazing with these heels. It's not disappointment, it is merely building the anticipation."

[member="Kaalia Voldaren"]

And so, the game had begun. [member="Ara Ren"] wanted her to wear the heels, and Kaalia refused. One of them had to crack, but this was one thing she wasn't going to go along with easily. "It's just too bad I have no business with men. And there's a difference between being difficult to walk in and killing your feet." She only responded to that claim when she re-emerged from the room. "I understand where you're coming from, but it just doesn't apply to me very well."

The redhead noticed that Ara had put the heels by the couch she was sitting on, causing her to let out a playful chuckle. "If you like them so much, why don't you buy them for yourself?" She was not going to wear them, no matter what. In reality, if Ara decided to compromise on the length of the heels, Kaalia would actually consider it. She wasn't going to mention that however, as she wanted to see how stubborn her friend was in these types of situations. "I'm sure they would look great on you."

Her focus snapped back to the outfit she was wearing. It was a nice one, she had to admit. "This... Is more my taste, so I have to agree with you on that. The footwear really shouldn't be five inch feet killers though." She called the glass of wine in Ara's hand to her as she confirmed that nobody else was watching, grinning. She took a sip before letting it hover back. "Thank you." Casting her eyes to her shoulder, she made sure the lock of hair was still on it. She'd notice eventually.

Ara shook her head, sometimes her friend could be very naïve. ”You may not be interested in sleeping with a man, but you have business with them.” A sly smile belied the frank comment, a wink directed at the red-head. ”They can be persuaded to give you the most wonderful things, not all of them material.”

Three years spent manipulating and using men to achieve her goals had taught her a lot, one of which was that a pretty girl was all but invisible when important topics were at hand. It was almost too easy to bat your eyelashes, smile sweetly, stay quiet, and learn more about the goings on of the people around you than convincing them to buy you a drink.

Glancing down at the shoes in question, Ara smiled and pushed one of them with her toe. ”Perhaps I will, but not before you try them on first.” Her smile hardened just a little as the small battle of wills was waged. One of them would win and one of them would succeed to the other, it was a pleasant surprise that [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] was standing her ground.

Her friend summoned the glass of wine and Ara let it go, her eyes glinting as the younger woman willing took a sip. Weeks ago, Kaalia hardly wanted to touch the fiery liquid, another example of the change in her friend since she had returned battered and bruised from Coruscant.

Catching the glass as it returned, she finished the wine with a sip and set the empty crystal glass on the floor next to the heels.

”A deal then?” Raising an eyebrow with a smirk, she held the heels up. ”You put these on and we can leave without you having to try on any more of the garments I’ve picked out.” She nodded her head towards the open door of the dressing room and the varied collection of dresses and outfits within. With a flick of her finger, a brush of power pushed the straw lock of hair back behind her friend’s shoulder, her expression a mix of amusement and chastisement.

Kaalia should've known what [member="Ara Ren"] meant with getting the attention of a man, but she wasn't really the type to do that. The only time she did such a thing was under the instruction of Ara back during the pub crawl, but at least they got a nice pile of credits out of it. Whatever they could grab before running off, anyway. They could've gotten more if this 'Captain Pavanos' hadn't shown up, but for some reason the redhead didn't mind. "Whatever you say, Ara. Whatever you say." It didn't change her opinion on the heels, she still wouldn't wear them.

Her friend pushed one of the shoes in her direction slighty, the move accompanied by another verbal attempt to make her try them on. Willing it to come to her hand, she inspected the shoe closely. There still wasn't a shred of consideration in her mind, but perhaps it would get the brunette's hope up. When Ara brushed off the lock of hair from her shoulder from a distance, she chuckled. "No, thank you. No deal. Besides, some of the outfits you picked out still pique my interest believe it or not." With a cheeky grin she set the stiletto back down on the ground, turned on her heel, and walked back to the dressing room. "And I really should pay more attention to where my hair goes."

Keeping the outfit she just tried out seperate, Kaalia was definitely buying that one, she moved on to inspect the next outfit on the rack. Raising an eyebrow on an impossibly short blue dress, she shook her head. "That blue dress that's way too short? Not happening!" she mentioned to Ara. Next in line was another dress, and the redhead was ready to skip that one as well, but this one actually caught her attention. It wasn't nearly as short as the blue one, and the black color with intricate designs actually kind of spoke to her. A "Feth it, why not..." was accompanied by her left hand taking the dress off the rack. Putting it on, she was surprised at the fact it fit her quite well when she looked into the mirror. The redhead shrugged her shoulders. "Not bad, I supporse..." She struggled to zip up the zipper on the back, and after a few tries she gave up and walked back out. Turning around, she showed it to Ara. "A bit of help, please?"

Ara pouted prettily as her friend shot down the deal, unsurprised by the response. It was a game neither woman wanted to lose. She nodded to the side, accepting the subtle compliment about her clothing choices, some of which had been picked with her friend in mind.

Yes, you probably should.”

Chuckling as Kaalia disappeared into the room again, her statement giving away the fact that the red-head had repositioned the lock of hair intentionally.

Another chuckle was the only response to the girl’s shouted comment about a too short dress and her opinion of it. While admittedly skimpy, Ara hardly considered it too short, depending on the occasion of course.

”I believe that pilot friend of yours would like it.”

The door creaked as it was opened again, this time Kaalia had chosen a black gown with intricate designs, that was longer than the others, but still tight enough to show each curve of the teen’s figure. Eyebrows winged up with a bright grin, she stepped forward to finish zipping the garment up. Pushing the girl’s hair over one shoulder, she secured the garment and leaned forward with a flirtatious smile and laugh.

Now this is a dress to see Ishanna in again.”

She tousled Kaalia’s hair a bit and paced around her, looking pleased with the overall look.

”But it is missing something.” Snapping her fingers together, Ara feigned a look of realization. ”Shoes! It is missing shoes.” Moving over to the settee, she leaned forward, right hand heading for the pair of heels they’d been arguing over. At the last moment she turned, reaching behind the couch for a second pair of shoes that had been brought when her glass of wine was refilled.

They were simple, black, strappy, and with half the heel of the others. Winking at Kaalia with a light laugh, she presented the new pair for inspection.

[member="Kaalia Voldaren"]

[member="Ara Ren"] zipped up the dress and looked appraised how it looked, and Kaalia looked at her as she paced around. "She's been impossible to pin down. I haven't seen her since the pub crawl, and at this point I doubt I'll run into her again." To the redhead, Ishana ticked all boxes and then some, but at this point she was ready to move on. The pilot had probably forgotten about her already anyway. "Besides, who knows where she's with at this point? Can't dwell on it for too long." She let out a very small sigh. "My fault for letting her slip away, I suppose."

She pushed her mind off of the topic and went back to what they came for, namely looking for new outfits. The redhead raised an eyebrow as the brunette reached for the hotly argued over heels, then laughed as she reached behind the settee to reveal another pair. "I was already afraid we'd come to a complete stalemate. So, what have you got for me this time?" She took the heels, inspecting the noticably shorter heel. She bit her lip for a second, thinking it over. "These are alright enough, I suppose. They better look fantastic." Kaalia sat down on the settee and put on the heels, making sure they were secured. She stood surprisingly stable as she got up, and looked at Ara. "How's this?"

Ara sighed deeply, shaking her head with a sympathetic smile as her friend took the heels and relayed the lack of Ishanna sightings. Resisting the urge to roll her eyes as [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] blamed herself for the absence of the fiery pilot, Ara watched as her friend put the shoes on, keeping the small smile in place.

”I told you once and I’ll say it again, we will find you a little hottie to snuggle with. Leave it to me.”

Flashing the red-head a wicked and predatory smile, she watched as Kaalia managed to stand in the heels without so much as a wobble. Perfect.

”See for yourself.”

Taking the younger girl’s right arm in a loose grip and wrapping her other arm around the girl’s waist, she dragged her over to a mirror set on the far side of the wall. Three mirrors created an almost 360-degree view of the person standing in front of them. Ara pushed her forward enough to be the center of attention, thumb set on her chin, the rest of her fingers curled up to rest on her lower lip in thought.

”Pretty and intricate.” In truth, the outfit was nice, perfect for a dinner on the town or a nice concert, but Ara had bigger plans. The original pair of heels would end up on Kaalia’s feet before they left. ”It will do in a pinch, but I think I want to see you in that blue dress.” Nodding back at the room she’d vacated, the dress in question hung as the next and final outfit.

The royal blue fabric was silky and had a beautiful sheen to it. The halter neckline feel to an empire waist with long trailing skirt. It was address made to be worn with heels at least four inches tall, unless one enjoyed tripping on excess fabric, an feature of the dress Kaal would discover once she put the garment on.

"I'm not getting in your way. If you find it necessary to find me a, quote, 'little hottie to snuggle with' then by all means, go for it." Kaalia didn't expect anything from it. She believed that some people were just meant to be alone and counted herself among those people. "Spreaking of snuggling, you and Connor really got it going on, huh?" The sparks that flew off between the two whenever they were near each other were intense, and it didn't take a Force sensitive to pick up on it. "Connor better work his ass off, or I'm going to have a stern talk with him."

The redhead was dragged to the mirror set, allowing her to see all around in a 360-degree radius to take in every detail. "Perhaps dresses weren't as bad as I originally thought. Certain ones, at least." She turned from side to side, appraising how the outfit looked on her. "I agree, it's very pretty." She was still surprised by how easily she walked on the heels she was wearing, but she still preferred flat footwear. At least they looked good.

[member="Ara Ren"] nodded towards the final outfit in the dressing room, and Kaalia slightly tilted her head as looked at it. "Let's give it a try then." The heels on her feet clicked as the woman made her way back to the room, and closed the door. The shoes were the first to come off, curling her toes for a moment as they were freed. The dress came off with a little bit of struggling with the zipper, the outfit's defiance causing Kaalia to let out a mumbled "Fething zipper, why does it have to be at a place that's barely reachable..." as she reached at her back. Feeling the need to out her frustrations to the brunette, she spoke a little louder. "Why does fashion have to be so impractical?"

Then came the final dress. It looked fine to her as she took it off the rack, appraising it for a moment. When she put it on however, she noticed that excess fabric that slumped on the floor. Tripping over that would be a real risk. The redhead carefully walked out of the room, careful not to fall. She looked over to Ara. "It looks great, but it's a bit long don't you think?"

Ara’s grin flowed from amused to seductive in a moment, her teeth showing almost predatorily as her friend brought up the explosive relationship she had with [member="Connor Harrison"] .

”That is one interesting way of putting it.” Chuckling and guiding [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] back towards the dressing room, Ara’s eyebrows winged up as the red-head asserted herself. An interesting development. The old Kaalia would likely have never made such a comment, it provided an entertaining mental image.

”We have our fun. And as sweet as that thought is, I can handle him myself, I promise you that.”

The brunette winked as Kaal disappeared into the dressing room one final time. Already prepared for the length of the gown, Ara stood just outside the door, taller heals propped in her flat palms, a smirk quirking up one corner of her mouth. The color of the gown accented the paleness of the younger girl's skin, setting off the red tones in her hair and her emerald eyes.

”Not with these on, it isn’t.”

The wicked twinkle in her eyes belayed her innocent tone.

Kaalia knew [member="Ara Ren"] could easily handle Connor herself, but that wasn't the point. Sometimes a little outside pressure was needed, and was what she would provide. The brunette's reaction to her mentioning of their relationship was akin to a hunter that had killed their prey, and it was an entertaining sight. She could only imagine what Ara meant with 'fun', but there was no doubt that they were far from a soft and gentle couple. Whatever caused them to be together was way darker than that, and the redhead wouldn't get between the two. She had been planning on heading out for self-assigned scouting missions for a little while, and that way she wouldn't interrupt whatever they were building together. When duty called she'd meet back up with them.

When the woman came out of the dressing room she saw Ara, smirking while presenting the objects that sparked their mental warfare. Her friend really wanted to see her in the heels, but she wouldn't budge. The innocent tone and wicked look in her eyes caused the redhead to chuckle. "I was going to make a funny comment, but I ran out of ideas." She spoke in a lighthearted tone before shifting to something that sounded more matter-of-factly. "So, I'm just going to tell you that it's not happening. Call me unnecessarily stubborn, but I already made up my mind and I'm not wavering from that." She shrugged. "There's no way to convince me. A shame though, the dress looks fantastic." Kaalia could feel she was starting to get close to winning, but Ara no doubt still had some tricks up her sleeve. She was nothing if not ready, however. The new Kaalia had clear lines she wouldn't cross. "If only you dragged me here before I found my bag of confidence, right?"

Ara watched her friend through narrowed lids, weighing the options and the strength of her friend’s determination. For a moment both girls stood, eyes locked, wills warring against each other.

On one hand, they were just a pair of heels that were just this shy of too tall to be reasonable. On the other hand, it was a point of contention and Ara’s stubbornness matched her friend’s.

”Even if I offered to purchase that outfit I know you set aside?” Raising an eyebrow, her gaze flashed to the dressing room and the slacks and top the red-head had loved instantly. ”Put them on, walk to the mirrors and back, and I will be satisfied.”

Canting her head to the side with an easy smile, she watched [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] consider the offer. Perhaps if they’d gone shopping before, before the explosive few days after she’d returned from Coruscant, this argument would have gone a different way. It wasn’t as if Ara particularly minded, but now it was a matter of finding that line and finding what could push her friend over it.

And now, it was straight bribery. Kaalia could feel that small victory coming and there was no way she wasn't getting it. Losing at the home stretch was out of the question. A mischievous grin was plastered across her face as she turned to her friend. "The price tag is fairly high, so it's a tempting offer. Hmm..." For a moment she reached out to take the heels from [member="Ara Ren"], but midway she pulled back and scratched her head for a second while pulling a questioning face. "Maybe I should put it on the tab of the Order. They won't mind, right?" The redhead kept a straight face for a short while before being unable to hold in her laughter. "Sorry Ara, but I think you lost this one."

Kaalia turned around carefully, and started making her way back to the dressing room. "I've been pleasantly surprised by this store, I must admit. I saw one down the street I'd like to check out as well." When the door closed she changed back to her original outfit and looked at herself in the mirror one last time. A smile forced its way into her facial features. This experience felt a lot like shedding her old Jedi skin and showing off what was underneath it, which was something the woman really needed. She took the items she had decided on with her when she came back out, the smile still there. "A good start to a new me, I'd say. That doesn't mean we're done for today if you ask me though."

One eyebrow winged up slightly, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips as the red-head easily deflected her offer to purchase the items but charging them to the order. Somehow she doubted Sieger would appreciate the young Ren adding anything unnecessary to their accounts considering they’d only been authorized to purchase new armor for the upcoming invasion. If they were questioned about the additional items purchased, they could always claim the outfits where purchased for potential diplomatic missions. She lowered the shoes with a mischievous grin, tilting her head to accept defeat, or at least give the impression that she did.

”If you are willing to risk the wrath of the order for a nice outfit, who am I to stop you?”

Her friend disappeared back into the dressing room while Ara passed the shop keeper two items, one, the credit chip given them for the express purchase of adding to the order’s supply of personal protective gear, and the second, a personal credit chip. The woman scurried off with both, the slacks and silky shirt added to one, the shoes added to the other.

Two bags were waiting when [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] emerged, one already filled with the heels she so despised, the second awaiting the addition of Kaalia’s new clothes. Ara chuckled as they filled the bag and departed, amused by her friend’s interest in shopping, something she’d expressly refused to do months before.

”Then lead away, do not expect me to stop you.”

The hand that was not carrying her bag spread wide as they emerged back into the shopping district, indicating a large assortments of boutiques to choose from.

Kaalia chuckled as she caught a glimpse of the heels they had debated over in another bag. Her friend was definitely persistant, perhaps even more than she expected. "I'd rather die by something that aren't heels, so it's worth the risk in my book." She put up a smug face, amused by the fact the end of the heels story was far from in sight. The brunette wanted to make this a war? The redhead would bring the big guns.

The store Kaalia had laid her eyes on was a place she would never have visited until just recently. It had definitely caught her attention however, and her curiosity made her want to check it out. "Good! It's right here." A short walk later she stood before a store that was almost the complete opposite of the boutique they visited before. It aired a much more urban atmosphere. "It doesn't hurt to at least take a look." She shrugged as she made her way inside. In all honesty the redhead had absolutely no idea what to expect, but that was half the fun.

A mischievous glint in her eyes and a smirk were found on Kaalia's face as she looked around. The place was definitely less sophisticated, but she didn't mind. There was no need for a clerk to help her out here She quickly walked over to a particular jacket that looked appealing to her, its red color in her eyes very well accentuated by the black details. The woman took it off the rack and examined it a little closer before showing it to [member="Ara Ren"] with a questioning face. "What do you think of this?" What her friend thought of it wasn't that relevant to her, she liked it and that was enough. Add some items to accompany it and Kaalia would make it work. "It looks pretty cool, don't you think?"
