- Unit Name: Concord Guard Repulsorlift Regiment (CGRR)
- Affiliation: Silver Jedi Concord
- Classification: Repulsorlift Regiment
- Description: Repulsorllift regiments and other mobile troops have been key assets in many ground campaigns, providing a source of quick moving infantry that act either to rapidly occupy terrain or be rushed as reinforcements to wavering battle lines. In this respect, the role of the Concord Guard Repulsorlift Regiments is fairly conventional from a strategic and operational level. But CGRRs are a little more unorthodox at lower levels, placing a high degree of focus on obtaining local firepower superiority at the squad level by giving soldiers access to a large number of highly flexible weapons systems and pairing them with an emphasis on sustaining a large volume of fire in well-practiced battle drills. While thus not particularly well drilled in bushcraft, long range marksmanship, or hand to hand combat like some soldiers, the soldiers of the CGRRs are quite adept at suddenly appearing on the battlefield and laying down intense firepower that quickly withers most competing infantry units.

- Combat Function: Concord Guard Repulsorlift Regiments function as mechanized infantry, bringing the versatility of the common infantryman with the speed and mobility of modern repulsorlift vehicles. While largely recruited and trained on the local, planetary level, CGRR soldiers undergo standardized training derived from the collective experiences of both Silver Jedi Concord and Directorate troops. This has led to a general philosophy of acting quickly and decisively based on a number of well rehearsed battle drills at the various operational levels. While this makes CGRRs somewhat predictable to their foes, it also means that CGRR troops themselves are rarely confused or disordered even under the most trying circumstances. At the higher command levels, such as the battalion level, CGRRs are typically deployed to quickly seize lightly defended enemy terrain or quickly reinforce faltering friendly lines. Typically in these large scale movements, the regiment's Howlrunner II Repulsor Tanks act as a breaththrough unit, using the firepower of the tanks to smash through enemy lines while the other battalion's infantry are subsequently deployed from APCs to mop up remaining enemy resistance. Smaller unit tactics, such as on the squad level, are mostly based on sustaining a high volume of fire from a variety of weapon types. To that end, much emphasis on training is based on the ability to quickly reload weapons and calmly return accurate fire even while under enemy assault. While the common blaster rifle does provide the bulk of the squad's firepower, each squad also makes fairly extensive use of mag-pellet based weapons such as shatter rifles and pistols, as well as more payload flexible weapons such as grenade launchers and chemical sprayers. Oftentimes, the L4 Aranea battle droid which accompanies each squad serves as a slow-moving base of firepower which the fire teams will use for suppressing fire while they bound forward to seize new ground or fall back to safer positions.
- Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): N/A
- Heavy Firepower (Infantry): At the squad level, CGRR soldiers are fairly well armed with versatile sources of firepower, with all direct fire weapons having either different types of fire settings or different types of ammunition. Extensive drill and training allows CGRR soldiers to lay down a high volume of near continuous fire on their foes. Additionally, the L4 Aranea battle droid itself has the firepower of several soldiers.
- Mobile: As their name suggests, Concord Guard Repulsorlift soldiers are entirely embarked on fast repulsorlift craft, giving them excellent mobility. Each infantry squad has its own repulsorlift APC, giving excellent, independent mobility even at the lowest levels of the unit.
- Predictable: While using heavily standardized battle drills helps with cohesiveness under trying conditions, it also makes CGRR troops fairly predictable on the battlefield
- Limited Firepower (Vehicle): While individual soldiers in CGRRs are fairly well armed, the vehicular firepower of CGRRs tends to be pretty limited, with the repulsorlift APCs that make up the unit being only equipped with personnel grade machine guns, which typically have little effect on other vehicles.
As the threat from the crumbling Bryn'adul Empire waned, the worlds of the Silver Jedi Concord were able to focus on reconstruction and reorganization, much of which was immediately dedicated to civilian infrastructure. But with life more back to normal for most citizens, concern turned again to defending such worlds against future threats. Much of the massive rearmament by the Concord forces during the Bryn'adul war had been focused on producing exotic and specialized weapons to defeat the unorthodox threat of the alien invaders. While effective against such foes, these systems were often more expensive and less suited against more conventional foes, which led to a number of worlds reforming their forces. One of the products of these reorganizations were a number of standardized military formations, including the Concord Guard Repulsorlift Regiments. With both Silver Jedi Concord and Directorate instructors, many mechanized infantry formations were retrained and reequipped to a a single organizational model, making them fairly interchangeable on the field despite the differences of their original homeworlds. Since their formation, Concord Guard Repulsorlift Regiments have gained a fine reputation for exceptionally well drilled and reliable even under hard conditions, providing floods of small arms fire wherever they are deployed.
