Coming Off the Pinacle

"Mmm... Have you tried checking at a clinic or anything? Though i suppose that might come with it's own issues, still something you could try."

It wasn't the first time Dusaro had heard of something like this, you heard it every now and then on the news. 'Person from hundreds of years ago found in stasis!', it was just meeting someone like that was a real suprise.

"No telling, though if there was no blaster scoring or anything then who knows what might have happend. Pirates, malfunction, the plague. So many possibilities. Hopefully nothing nasty though."

Dusaro was genuinely curious about what made this happen, but well he figured he probably shouldn't press it much more then he already had. It was her past after all, not his.

"We are called the Silver Jedi Order, more or less in the north eastern area of the galaxy. Felucia, Voss, Ossus, that area in general really. Voss is the capital."

Giving Dusaro a confused look, Sulen thought about on what he said.

"A clinic for what? Also I highly doubt my situation is common enough there even is something set up for it. From what little logging and information I was able to gather at the base itself, it was attacked. The people were evacuated and somehow I got left behind to be found well 800 some odd years later."

It was the only answer she had found in her brief looking after she was found.

"I have no idea who did it though and while I would love to find out, what would the point be? They are just as dead as the rest of the people from my time. Any family line or political party involved I'm sure has died out as well. Revenge would be nice though."

Just a slight tone of voice change, but it showed how bitter she actually felt about the whole situation.

"Bah Jedi. Their ideals are too constricting. Having to follow a code."

"Clinic to see if the 'enhancements' are still there, the testing stuff you mentioned. That might just be me, but i would wanna know if i have any stray chemichals kicking around in my system ya know? And i see... Not much to figure out about what happend then i suppose." Dusaro said with a bit of a short nod.

He didn't disagree with her assessment on the entier situation. Sure, knowing who, how and why would be nice, but nothing would really come of it at the same time. He personally would want to know just for closure, but that was how his mind worked, not her's, so he let it drop.

"Don't most people follow codes though?" Dusaro asked with a arched eyebrow, looking over at her. This was one thing he could never really wrap his head around fully. This idea of the Jedi being dogmatic.

"In my experince, long as you are striving to protect, serve, be humble and not be a bastard you are probably doing fine. Just like not everyone memorizes the entirety of the laws and not every soldier does the same for the 'conducts of war', they just kind of make sure they have a good enough general knowledge to not kark anything up. I mean sure, there is Jedi philosophy and thinking deeply and all that, but if you want to actaully get things done, you go out and get things done. Not sit around contemplating the meaning of doing things."

After a few moments, it just sunk in to Dusaro that he had just went on a rant without even realizing it. Shifting a bit awkwardly he chuckled a bit, shaking his head.

"Sorry about that. Stuff like that just frustrates me."

"Why wouldn't they still be there? My parents were born not being able to the Force, but they had tests and experiments done on them so they could. They were part of the Shadowtrooper project. After that went belly up, they could still use the Force."

Sulen stopped talking at the point, hoping Dusaro wouldn't put some of the pieces of information she had said together and figure out she could the Force too. It was something she had done her best to forget, but it seemed it was always there.

He did make a good point that most people did follow at least some sort of code, she had to give him that. In doing a slight motion with a hand, she listened to him continue on. His observations were very accurate. She felt she fell into the lawful side of things, but could be rather curt in her dealings with people.

"Action more than inaction, I agree."

He then apologized for going on his rant with a small chuckle.

"We are all entitled to speak and say what we want. Not going to get any complaints from me, Dusaro."

"Oh, the Shadowtrooper... Project... Force..." It took a few moments for those peices to fall into place. But when he rememberd she had been in stasis for over 800 years and the entire Dessan debarcle that he had read about, his made an 'oh' expression.

"Oh. I... Huh. Well then. Neat. Okay, nevermind then ignore me for i know not what i say apparently." He said with a wry look and shrug, finishing off his drink. It was not a exactly hard puzzle to figure out, but it wasn't something he recognised on a concious level either.

He did know that if you were the child of a force user, you probably would be one yourself. Even if he had more conciously figured it out Dusaro wouldn't overly care. If she was intrested in joining, well he had just told her where they were. Not much more he could do.

"Well, yes. Most people just prefer it if you don't start ranting." He said with a self depricating smirk followed shortly by a shrug.

"So what do you plan on doing now in this big ol mess of a galaxy? I have a few Merc contacts still if you need to find that kind of work, you seem cut out for it."

"Aye, yeah, you got the idea. My parents lived...obviously or I wouldn't be here."

As she spoke, her eyes would almost give off a roll, but it wasn't quite the same as somebody actually doing it when they are frustrated. It was kind of more in making the point of the obvious as she stated.

"Are there still records of the Shadowtrooper project?"

It had lasted such a short time, Sulen was really surprised he had heard of it.

"I have an armor set still. It had belonged to probably my mother since it fits me. Yes, sometimes it is nice to just rant at times. Lord knows I could it about the fate of my time or what happened to me. As for what I plan on, I'm not sure. I have military training, some piloting skills and combat. Nothing special though.

Shrugging her shoulders, she considered his offer and nodded.

"Yes, that would be nice."
