I realized when I was trying to start another character when I returned that all I really wanted to do was write with Barrett. So I decided to bring him back for good, I'm still going to be a little slow but I have his intro thread up! Basically you could join as a merc who saw a falling escape pod and wants to help or hinder, or you could play a curious bystander, all I'm looking for is some interaction.
