Word, homeslices.

I am currently in the midst of realising this character, and at present have yet to fully do so, and thus I am hoping to find someone to thread with so I can actually discover what Jiduveda is truly like in the field.

This fellow is rather pensive, silent, grim and calculating, and dedicated solely to study of the Force (at present), and it could be cool to write an interaction based on philosophical discussion pertaining to the universe and the Force as the starting point. However, it could go in any direction and I would be happy to plot some diversity here.

Jidu is of Jedi origins, but in this current Chaos time is not associated with them. He could have discussions with other Jedi, or conflicts against darksiders, or something else totally different.

But he is also over 200 years old, and so if there is another character who has an advanced age and timeline, there could always be room for a flashback thread too. If that were the case, long-term relationships could have the chance to build.

But I am honestly open to anything. I ultimately just want to get Jidu off the ground and see what he's like.

So hit me up if you want to do something.

[member="Jiduveda"] , love this character idea. Once my current story arch is complete Bryce is going to be a broken both mentally and physically. Would be cool to have a "yoda" like aquantance in his future to help ground him.

I'd be up for doing something. I have this droid who is relatively new, but has come to many conclusions about the galaxy, he could have a discussion with [member="Jiduveda"] or something else depending on what you have in mind.

Alternatively, or perhaps as well, I have a near-Rakghoul who has lived since the Old Republic, thanks to Sith Alchemy, and has grown rather tired of the universe.

A philosophical debate with a droid would be so fascinating and open up a lot of interesting questions in general. A near-Rakhoul would be very interesting too. Definitely interested! I got a Witch has balance in the Force problems. Like...has nightmares about her ancestors fighting one another.

Also have a Princess from a world in the Unknown Regions that devolved into a faux Imperial China / Imperial Korea-like dynasty. Consequently, her people developed a view of the Force that is more akin to Taoism's view of Yin and Yang. Those sensitive in the Force should not devote them wholely to either light nor darkness.

Both sound amazing, but I have to say I am especially fascinated with your Princess. What an awesome idea. I'd love to do something between her and Jidu (any excuse to talk Taoist-esque ideas). I'll shoot you a PM.

[member="Jiduveda"], I would LOVE to take a walk with you and have a philosophical discussion, if not a proper adventure. I'm a Buddhist IRL who has studied Taoism. Qaal is about as far from the Middle Way as one can walk and is an adherant of the Yuuzhan Vong Trickster goddess, who is believed to have hidden secrets throughout the galaxies that he's ni the process of seeking, including the secrets of the Force.
