DESCRIPTION

Eira was assigned the task of creating a present and she took this opportunity to explore the uses of Sith alchemy when constructing a weapon. Having previously explored the ability in creating poisons that were contained in a necklace, Eira wished to create something that could be lined against the edge of a weapon. Similar to how Sith Swords were created, however, Eira favoured the idea of a smaller, more discreet weapon. Personally favouring daggers, Eira leaned into the idea of creating a dagger. The dagger was carved from durasteel, a standard metal but one that Eira wished to enhance. To turn something ordinary into extraordinary.

The blade was made curved and Eira lined the edge with her Sith poison, also imbuing the metal with properties to resist a Lightsaber so it would not break against a Jedi's blade as well as ensuring the edge could never dull. No matter what it was hitting. Eira also found the idea of it being used as a focusing tool for someone new to the Dark Side or inexperienced with it to be a quality that could be a lot of fun but also something that could assist the person she was going to be gifting this to. The poison that Eira created was highly toxic, paralysing a target which would lead to death within seconds. Wanting this to be as dangerous as the blade could be.

Using Haysian Smelt for the hilt and decorative elements of the blade was a stylised choice to make the blade seem designed more for ornate and display purposes than as an actual lethal weapon.
