Singing Mountain Clan
-- Clan Mother: Satara Hawk

Situated around and within the Singing Mountain, the clan has a long history on the planet. Known history tells of of the respected clan mother Augwynne Djo and former member Gethzerion, the first Nightsister. They are said to be bitter rivals of the Nightsister sub-clan SpiderClan that resides within their mountain.

Times of the plague have become stories of the old but today, it is led by the Hawk family. First of the Hawk to lead the clan was Zaltana Hawk, and how she had come to be is told in legends on stories. Some claim their then clan mother had fallen and was thus exiled while others speak of her passing without an heir. All stories say that the councilwomen chose one of their own to take her position, which was Zaltana Hawk. Passed down from mother to daughter, the title now remains in the hands of Satara Hawk who has once stepped down from the position in favor of her children but the misfortune of the clan and the loss of many made the councilwomen vote her return to position.

They label themselves as a lightsided clan but they are not good per say. Loyal to Allya's laws, they are a female driven clan of warriors primarily. Slave owners, chanters and strong, the Witches keep to their traditions. Many of the Elders refuse to acknowledge the Force of outsiders, claiming it is not something Witches are capable or should be doing yet some are open minded to it and have brought back the knowledge of the galaxy and their Force Users, bringing new lessons to the children of the Clan.

Frenzied River Clan
-- Clan Mother: Halia Rivera (NPC)

Thirty years ago the Frenzied River Clan was a clan just like any other, it had a marginal amount of territory and power. It bartered with other clans for men, rancors, materials, and whatever else was needed. That changed however, when the current clan mother died and a young woman named DeLores became her successor. The decision was controversial, with many citing her youth and inexperience and signs she was unqualified, while others noted her incredible resourcefulness and strength in Allyan Magic as almost mythical. Ultimately, she was more than qualified for the job, and Frenzied River seized more territory and power in the next 20 years then they had in generations.

During this time of prosperity DeLores bore two daughters, the first filled with power and ambition, the second filled with compassion and love for the people. As time went along her and her oldest daughter grew distant. Her child grew more aggressive, violent, and grew dangerously close to the practices of shadow magic. Finally she had to name her youngest child as her successor, as while her oldest was powerful, spirited, and ambitious, she was also cold, hating, and merciless. A couple of days later she came to find that her older daughter had killed her sister in cold blood, and DeLores could stand it no longer. She fought her daughter, and won, convincingly so, but she hesitated, and couldn't kill her daughter, then the Nightsisters swarmed on her and her people.

With DeLores dead and the Frenzied River battered and broken, the living members all ran. They eventually found a place to hide in the forest, where a witch named Halia Rivera claimed the title of Clan Mother. Over the next three years they rebuilt, and went back and claimed their old home. Since then Rivera has lead them to gain much power and territory, but nowhere near as much power as they had a mere five years ago. Because of this the Frenzied River grew an extreme hatred of all followers of Shadow Magic, and a dream of ending the life of Taleen, bringer of their misfortune and traitor to the Old Queen.

The Frenzied River are a rebuilding Allyan Witch clan who are intolerant and aggressive towards any followers of Shadow Magic, be they Nightsister or otherwise affiliated with darkside.

Shardrock Clan
-- Clan Father: Ember Rekali
Clan Shardrock takes its name from an area of broken stone not too far from the foothills of Singing Mountain. The clan is old but has never been strong, and when Sira Ves, one of its Elders, became a Nightsister, Clan Shardrock was nearly wiped out as she fled the planet. Thirty years later, the former slave of her student found Dathomir for the first time. Ember Rekali was, by then, a Master of the Force in his own right, though his only knowledge of Dathomiri ways came from experience with Ves and her heir -- both of whom were dead. Looking to understand his identity, he lived with the fractured clan for a time, and it became a haven for others like him: Witches from offworld. Most of Clan Shardrock is composed of Witches who have travelled widely and acculturate in other corners of the galaxy. Shardrock is noted for its loose but sincere adherence to the clan's particular translation of the Book of the Law. Shardrock Witches do not always know all the cultural intricacies of their heritage, but they are loyal Dathomiri (or the students of Dathomiri -- more than a few members of Shardrock are near-humans or even aliens).

Bright Sun Clan
-- Clan Mother: Inara Ka

The Bright Sun Clan was the clan name adopted by the Raining Leaves Clan, a clan of Dathomiri witches led byKaminne Sihn; and the Broken Columns Clan, a clan of men led by a Hapan named Tasander Dest, when the two clans merged.

In 43.5 ABY, the two clans convened on their annual meeting north of Redgill Lake to trade and form marriages. There, the two clans negotiated the combination of their clans into one. When the clan members were unable to agree what their new clan's name should be, the argument was resolved by Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker when he suggested the name of Bright Sun. The name proved acceptable to both clans as its symbolism related to both clan names. The bright sun clan then fought the Nightsisters a war which they won with the help of Luke and Ben Skywalker and the Solos.

Due to their remote location and wariness of meeting outworlders, the Bright Sun Clan did not have as many fatalities due to the Gulag Virus as did the other far more prominent Clans. None the less, it was due to these circumstances that the Clan became far more isolated and rarely met with the other Clans.

In terms of application of the Law, while they follow the Allyan ways and the Book of Law, their stance on men and slavery is different. Here, men are seen in a more equal light, with positions held where they could trade, act, and conduct business as any of the female warriors. While there were rare instances of kidnapping of the men from other clans, marriages were mainly arranged without the context of slavery. While there were slaves, these were mainly claimed as those not belonging to the clan gathered from war parties, raids, or any wandering offworlder.

Bright Sun was intensely wary of any outworlders, and the Clan is very strict in dealing with them. No one is to bring an outworlder to the clan without proper representation or by way of the council of Elders. This was for their protection as much for the continuation of their way of life.

How to join a clan?
Joining an existing clan is easy. Pick one of them look up existing information and contact its clan leader or member if there isn't one (or myself if the clan is currently without either). From then on, it's up to you to decide how your character is affiliated to said clan. Some possibilities: Your character was born in said clan, you were adopted in a family that is part of the clan, you were enslaved by a Witch who is part of the clan, etc.

How to become a Clan Leader of a Clan?
If you desire to take over an existing clan and said clan is currently without clan leader, contact me and we're work out a story of your ascension. All clans have some sort of leader, if not a played one then an non-played character (NPC) and any attempt to take leadership will require a RP story. Only Spellweavers and Elders can apply.

How to create new clans?
If you would like to create a new clan, think of a name, history and reason for existence and PM me the information. If for any reason your application needs work, we shall exchange PMs to complete it. If not, I shall PM you back letting you know that it's been approved and the new clan with the information you sent me will be added to the list.

Can two clans merge?
Yes, they can. Clans have merged and separated in history. Ie. Bright Sun Clan is the result of a merger. If you wish to do so, work on your IC story with your clan members and the clan members of the other clan you wish to join with and once the the roleplay thread is completed, the new information will be added. However, remember that mergers and separations are no common.
