OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Group Name: Clan Rok'urkus
  • Classification: Tribe/Clan
  • Headquarters: Tatooine
  • Loyalties: None
  • Group Sigil: None
  • Description: Clan Rok'urkus is your standard Tusken clan. Nomadic and shifting with the sands of Tatooine. Having no written history, stories are past down by the clan's speaker.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: Rok'urkus as very little commnad structure. The clan is know to have leader, along with a group of clan elders that have some more minor authority. Then the list goes down with individuals like children having little to no authority.
  • Membership: Most members of the clan are simply born into it. However, on some rarer circumstances such as the case with A'Runda individuals could be adopted into their clan to be raised and taught their culture and society. In even more rare cases, individuals were know to be brought in as sort of honorary Tuskens when showing and proving their worth, normally through combat and resilience.
  • Dogma/Doctrines: Like most, if not all Tusken clans, they don't have a written history, as they believe that cheapens their history and culture. Another typical rule is that members should respect their elders. Also as far as Tuskens go, their relatively peaceful. Only harming those that have done them wrong. Being either other clans or simple moister farmers. But this isn't as much as rule as a principle.
  • Curios: The clan as with the inclusion of traditional tattoos they also have clan specific designs when coming of age.
  • Goals: Just survive on Tatooine as a close community against all odds.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The clan started off far back in time as a sort of small scale secessionist movement from another clan. Splitting off from it to start their own in the deserts. It is forgotten why however. Some imagine it was through conflict, other's suspect overpopulation. However, the clan they moved away from did have it's roots from after the Rakkata destruction of the planet. Which they simply referred to as the ancient star invaders. Over the many generations they grew to be more peaceful then most other clans. Eventually developing a custom to show hospitality with other clans, and only cause harm to those who have done the clan wrong.

But centuries ago the clan heard of bad news from others clans. That there was a demon in black, that destroyed an entire clan with sorcery and a crimson blade. Although they did not worship the demon from the desert, they kept the legends in their history as it was passed down through the generations. Always wary of a potential return of the demon. It was recently in the tribes history that they adopted a human from a family that they raided, leaving behind their child for the sand people to decide their fate. Out of mercy they adopted it, going back to their less aggressive roots. However, this child as they grew up was shown to have supernatural abilities much like the black demon. In fear of possible destruction of the clan for possible raising the reincarnation of the next demon of the desert. The leader and the clans elders thought it would be best if the human they raised were to be exiled from the clan. It was a decision that did not come easy however. It's never easy to let go of one of your own in the clan, either through death or exile. But they did was they figured as best for the clan. Even the human understood, and went along without any troubles for his loyalty to his clan, his family. his home.
