SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Beskar Construction: Like most pieces of Mandalorian equipment the Vambraces of Clan Corek are made out of Beskar, giving them pretty high protection from energy weapons and lightsabers
  • Modular Design: Instead of being a set amount and type of weapons like some Mandalorian Vambraces the vambrace made by Clan Corek are modular and able to be changed based on the users needs
WEAKNESSES
  • Bulky: The Vambraces are very bulky and stand out in a crowd as well as being notoriously hard to conceal, those untrained in their use also have been known to complain they are rather awkward to use
  • Heavy: With the amount of tools and weaponry back into one small package it is no surprise that these vambraces are rather heavy, being made out of Beskar doesn't help either
DESCRIPTION
Being a atypical Mandalorian clan, Clan Corek has also made some atypical version of traditional Mandalorian tools, armor and weaponry, the unique Clan Corek Vambraces being chief among these atypical things. Like your typical Mandalorian Vambraces, the vambraces of Clan Corek were originally meant to counter and combat the advantages of the Jedi they evolved after Clan Corek was exiled from the mainstream Mandalorians.

Many of the original aspects of the vambraces remain, such as their construction from the ubiquitous Mandalorian Iron or as it is known by its Mando'a name, Beskar. From there the vambraces vary extremely from the original.

Each set of vambraces include a set of basic features that cannot be removed or changed mostly for the safety of the user. Chain Code locks prevent anyone except the exact holder of the chain code from using or even wearing the vambraces. An encrypted comlink ensures secure communication with whomever the wearer wants. A miniature holoprojector allows the wearer to project a wide variety of holographic images from maps to wanted posters. A miniature datascreen allows for the display of information from weapons data to armor status to data collected by a integrated dataspike.

A jetpack interface in the vambrace allows for the user to control their jetpack, if they have one connected to their armor, from the vambrace. A laser targeting system implemented into the vambrace gives the user much more accurate targeting for the weapons they can utilize. A vitals monitor directly interfaces with the wearers armor and reports back on any changes or issues that arise. A chronometer gives an accurate reading of the time, as long as its set to the right time zone. Lastly a faraday cage protection system protects all the vambraces sensitive electronics.

When it comes to weapons that can be mounted on the vambraces the wearer has a high degree of flexibility in their choices. A whipcord launcher deploys a thirty meter whipcord that can either wrap up a adversary or grapple to a nearby ledge, an attached electrifier also allows the wearer to conduct a high electrical current through the whipcord. A whistling bird launcher, a traditional Mandalorian weapon, launches small explosive homing rockets able to target several targets at once. A dart launcher is capable of spitting out a plethora of different darts from toxin darts to shock and even tracker darts.

A wrist rocket launcher is capable of firing a wide variety of rockets from concussive to incendiary to even anti-armor. A miniature flamethrower is capable of spewing a three meter long jet of flame either from its own fuel reserve or from a reinforced fuel line from the wearers jetpack. A pair heavy wrist blaster gives the user access to the equivalent of two heavy blaster pistols mounted on their wrist. A flechette launcher launches a wide spread of razor sharp darts, able to take out several opponents in a confined space at once.

A retractable vibrodagger gives the wearer a good close quarters weapon available at the flick of the wrist. A needler launcher gives the wearer a weapon able to pierce personal energy shielding should the need arise. An energy slingshot gives the wearer a non-lethal option in case they need to capture or subdue a target at range. An electroshock probe gives the wearer the same ability as the energy slingshot just at a more personal range. Lastly a carbonite projector spits out a stream of super cold material capable of freezing almost anything solid.

Besides mounting weapons the vambraces are also capable of mounting some tools the wearer might find useful in their endeavors. An energy shield projector is capable of producing a small shield able to block incoming projectiles. A miniature cutting torch gives the user the ability to cut through solid materials for whatever need might arise. A miniature tractor beam allows the wearer to pull items toward them while a tractor pressor allows them to do just the opposite. A retractable computer spike gives the user the ability to plug into door locks or computer system and open them or hack into them, respectively. Lastly a bacta sprayer allows the healing of small wounds of their own or others.
