RIFT EFFECTS
The Rift does little more to travelers than instill a deep sense of dread in them as they draw near it, peaking as they travel through. Death is a natural part of life. And attempting to interfere with this cycle is against the natural order of things. The severity of these effects may vary depending on the fortitude of the individual passing through.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The only significant landmark around the portal is the cave in which it resides. It is rather plain, being comprised only of the red rocks native to Geonosis. Though the area is natural, it has no connection to the world above, aside from a lone elevator shaft that has been installed in the far end of the cave.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
This Rift is a fairly new Rift, having been artificially induced into the area. After the recovery and cleansing of The Pilgrim's Rest, Voph and Vytal Noctura used their knowledge of the Netherworld to create another rift besides the natural bridge torn in reality upon the Rest's creation. This bridge, only one of many that the Rest was capable of establishing, linked directly with Geonosis. The natural outlet of the rift was far above, on the planet's surface, though the bridge itself has been modified, and made permanent, allowing travel in both directions.

- Accessibility: The existence of the Rift is hardly discussed outside of the Knights Obsidian, making the knowledge of the Rift's existence rare. Even if one were to discover its existence, they would have to infiltrate the Knights Obsidian Citadel to access it.
- Description: The Portal resides within a natural cave, and the gateway itself takes the appearance of a carved archway set into the stone of the walls. When a connection with the veil is established, the energies within the archway glow a somber red.
