Cimmerian Shades

Alicia crossed one leg over the other, watching the city streets through the window as the hover car brought them towards the Intergalactic Banking Clan's headquarters. She noted that all Muun's carried them in a similar posture. That same sense of authority, arrogance and wealth. Each were dressed in different garments, who symbolizing some sort of position that she did not yet understand. But she would come to know the ways of Muun. She could foresee herself visiting Muunilinst on a regular basis.

The car came to a stop, with Serj Sularis exiting first. Alicia soon followed, alongside Circe. Together, the Muun led the two ladies up into the building, to begin their meeting.

Circe stepped out with her apprentice, a smile on her face as she considered the circumstances of their being here. Perhaps she would be able to put up her own information with regards to Subach-Innes and get a factory out of it. "You know, Alicia, I always did enjoy the Muun taste for architecture. They have always had a keen eye for beautiful imagery. I wonder if they have any statues from Zeltros."

"I wouldn't know about that, Circe. After this meeting, we can explore, presumably." They entered a office and took their seats, Serj on one side of the table and Alicia and Circe on the other. "Chandrila DataTech then," said Serj, clasping both hands together on the table. "Why should I invest in your company? Why should I become your partner? More importantly, why should the Intergalactic Banking Clan take an interest in Chandrila?"

Alicia turned to look at Circe a moment, before diverting her gaze back to the Muun. "Chandrila is one of the richest agricultural worlds in the entire galaxy, but it's main import is technology. This tells myself and my partner," She gestured to Circe, "That the Chandrilians are very invested in technology. We're looking to supply that technology to the people directly as an on world office, rather than the dozens of companies that import from other systems. By doing this, we become the main supplier of technology to Chandrila. Thus, we are the front line for all technology trade."

"By becoming our partner, the credits you'll be investing will allow Chandrila DataTech to open factories and stores in Hanna city, where we'll be looking to expand into Emita and Nayli. We have several products to offer Chandrila, which we believe will be instant success. In a years time, it is our intention to begin expanding outside of the Chandrila system as well. In particular, we have identified a market for hyperspace beacons, which with our product, can replace the outdated, damaged ones left over from the Four Hundred Year Darkness."

"With the Intergalactic Banking Clan's backing, Chandrila DataTech can become a world, and later, galactic superpower in technological imports and exports. The Clan will also have influence across Chandrila, which I have said before is an agricultural hub in that sector of the galaxy. It wouldn't be difficult for us to expand into that market as well, once we've established ourselves with Chandrila DataTech."

Alicia fell silent.

"That seems like adequate rationale to me, Miss Drey." One of the Muuns, who seemed to have a significant amount of influence, spoke up. "I believe that we can get to work... but I recognize one thing about your compatriot. Hasn't she been seen with those Subach factory personnel?"

"Indeed... I work there, and would be glad to provide the Muunilist government - as well as your individual navies - with our fighters." The Muun thought it over a bit before nodding to his fellows.

"Shall we conclude business then?"

Serj was the last Muun to speak as he, his associates and the couple in front of them rose from their seats. "We will be drawing up a contract over the next few days. The InterGalactic Banking clan has secured a one month visa for both Miss Drey and Savan. We hope that you enjoy Muunilinst." He bowed his head and escorted both of them back to the front entrance.

"Goodbye," Serj said, returning back into the tower they had just vacated. Alicia turned to Circe. "That went well, but bringing up Subach was a risk. I do not think the Muun's would be interested in investing in a company known for it's Sith affiliates, now that the Muunilinst system is in Mandalorian hands."

[member="Alicia Drey"]

"Subach does have advanced technology the Muuns can likely transfer to their localized assets. Besides, they're in it for business, and the Mandalorians would never be so silly as to raze a world so rich in finances. Nonetheless, I do need to get a contingency plan setup, in case of another Weedkiller. Speaking of that... I'm considering finding the body I once had. Maybe I can use it."

Smiling, Circe couldn't help but grin as she looked Alicia over. "And we can have some fun together once we reach the old Damask estate."

"I think it would be better to liquidate everything to do with Subach and start anew. The name holds a tag towards the Sith, unlike DataTech and the other companies that will be forming in and around Chandrila in due time." She turned to survey the street. "Damask's estate was said to be found on an island. Now we need to find that island and a source of transport to it."

[member="Alicia Drey"]

"Doubtful, considering the new circumstances of things." She smiled. "Why not just do a historical search using the planet's data archives? Certainly there has to be records of this place and its location." She smiled, giving a soft grin as her hand almost involuntarily raised to gently brush Alicia's cheek. "I'm sorry... You're just so beautiful, and it's hard to resist."

Alicia winked at Circe. They turned down the Harnaidan streets, among the Muun's passing by. The Inter Galactic Banking Clan's headquarters soon disappeared as the two women made their way down. The former slipped her fingers into the latter. Among the tall, pale, longed face natives to Muunilinst, the Human and Enchanti female stood out. Not that they cared.

The Harnaidan library, owned by the Banking Clan, was in sight. It housed records, books and entertainment both from Muunilinst and across the world. The library mostly held information on stocks, companies, firms and businessmen and women, from the past and present. "Do you think our names are in their records?" Alicia asked Circe, as they entered the building.

Turning to a nearby terminal, Alicia inserted her datacard. "It makes sense that it wouldn't be free to look at their records. Then again, we are on the homeworld of Muuns." Letting go of Circe's hand, she brought up the details of Damask Holdings and read through the details quietly, save for when she replied to Circe.

"Interesting." She smiled. "And who would happen to have it now?" Her curiosity grew as she took out some of her black cherry lipstick and prepared to place it on her lips. "Your favorite flavor." She stole a quick kiss.

"Who knows?" she replied, after their embrace. She grinned at Circe and returned to browsing the records. Whatever was left of Dramask's estate had been left to ruin on an island that had been referenced as a "dangerous" area. She found a local business that were offering boat rides. Using her card, she arranged for a boat to be rented for them to use.

Slipping the card back into her pocket, Alicia turned back to Circe. "Found it. Looks like we'll get to see the sea after all, gorgeous."

[member="Alicia Drey"]

"I'll bet." Circe finished putting on her lipstick as she moved to give a smile to her apprentice and loving compatriot. "Once we're there, we'll be alone - anything could happen. Not to mention we might find anything there - rogue droids, Sithspawn... Buried treasure?" Embracing Alicia, she affectionately snuggled up against her.

"Let's go."

| [member="Enigma"] |

"Anything is possible, but in this case, I'll go with unlikely. I think we're the one two people that have ever made a connection between Hugo Dramask and Darth Plagueis the Wise since Palpatine knew him. I don't think he would of allowed anything that would expose the secret come out. Then again, we did come here to find something about Plagueis, so let us hope there is something to find."

Her hand interlocked with Pandeima's and together they were off, out of the library. The dock was an hours walk, of which Ayra did not mind spending with her Sith Master, as they walked the streets of Harnaidan.

[member="Alicia Drey"]

'Well... Let's go." She smiled, giving a soft grin as she gave Alicia another kiss. "I'm eager to see what's here... In fact..." She paused for a moment, thinking. "If no one's claimed this property, it's obviously fallen back into the custody of the state. What if we were to put a claim out on it, get the land for ourselves? It would give us an opportunity to operate here clandestinely under legitimate reasons."

| [member="Enigma"] |

"It's an idea, I suppose. But I do not think these Muun's would allow it. We could ask though." They made it to the dock. After meeting with the Muun in charge of the ferry, Alicia paid him handsomely so as to make the ferry theirs and theirs alone. Paying for every seat was expensive, but Alicia wanted the privacy.

Lowering herself into a seat, she looked up to Circe. "Bon voyage."

And so their sojourn to the Damask estate continued. Circe couldn't help but smile, and hug, and maybe have a teensy bit of fun with Ayra, but for the most part, all was calm when they finally arrived at the island. What had once been lush gardens were now a twisted overhang of weeds, gnarled trees, and other hidious flora.

"Time really hasn't been nice to this place, has it?"
