Cameron Centurion
The First Son
Cirque Glacier, Hoth
Cameron's silver-green gaze remained focused ahead of him as he entered the common area on board the Nemesis. Having only arrived the evening prior, he'd spent the night inside with the two men and one woman that had accompanied him. The woman happened to be his ex-wife from...centuries ago. Fortunately the journey from Exocron to Hoth had been a rather brief, uneventful one. The Sith Lord hadn't really expected anything else. They were both completely different people than they had once been. In fact, it had actually been good to catch up.
The week prior, Cameron had instructed one of his students to meet him at these specific coordinates. The last time they'd interacted, Cameron had taught Zoey the finer points of movement and using her surroundings to her best advantage. Outside of that, he'd also worked on honing her tracking and hunting skills - critical elements to being a well-rounded warrior. At the same time, he'd taught her to endure the humid environment of the jungle.
Now...she would see the other side of the coin. Hoth itself was just barely tolerable during the daylight hours, and the temperature out here by the glaciers and ice flows never actually rose above freezing. Fall into the water and you were almost certain to die if not immediately treated. It was true that most force users could regulate their body temperature to stave off the negative effects of feeling the cold. However, that did not prevent the damage freezing weather could do to skin and nerves...especially when you couldn't feel it happening.
As a result of these factors, Cameron was dressed in a medium-weight thermal uniform fitted to his build. He'd wear an overcoat with a large, fur-lined hood overtop when he stepped outside, but he did not presently have it on. A pair of snow goggles hung loosely around his neck as he went about grabbing something to drink while he awaited Crystal rising from her room and Zoey's arrival.
