Figured I'd give a bit darker of a character a go, and I reckon this is the best faction to do it in. Hope to drop right in with some minor role playing as I'll be traveling for a week or so later this month-- any suggestions.

Thanks. Any advice for a newbie on how to get "started"? I want this character to have some knowledge of the force but don't really want to rock a lightsaber or shoot lightning out of my fingertips.

Different people have different approaches, so ask ten writers and you'll get ten answers probably.

Some Abilities are reasonable to assume you already have - like Force Sense, Jump, Push, Pull, Speed. Some characters are built to encompass a specific Ability straight away - maybe Force Sight or something like that. As long as you don't go mad, you're typically OK.

Jump into group training threads and if there's an ability you really want, check out the training forum and see who can teach it and PM them.
