Strengths:
[+] Attuned: Charlyra crafted her shoto be attuned to her duelist talents, and by incorporating the Ossus Dueling Lens - a gift from her late Master Ra'alon her shoto had been made complete. This blade would do quite well in the hands another duelist, enabling them greater control over the blade.
[+] Connected: In her earlier years as a Padawan on Tython, Charlyra's more active force abilities had yet to manifest themselves thus leading the young girl to anger, becoming reckless. So at the advice of her master, Charlyra added the meditation crystal to help her focus, a way to provide the then Jedi Padawan a more physical connection to the force, albeit a faint one.

Description: Upon completion of her trials, part of Charlyra's task was to create a lightsaber. This lightsaber would reflect on the Jedi she was to become, on the woman she would grow into and it came as a surprise to her master when she returned with this. A purple bladed shoto, a short lightsaber - although this was longer than your typical shoto, it was uniquely Charlyra. Built for aggression, for a highly dexterous Jedi Knight and that was the road that Charlyra would be on. He, Master Ra determined that this padawan of his would no be fit for the Sentinels or Consular, but rather a Guardian. Someone who could protect, a skilled lightsaber warrior who fought for the light, justice and the truth.
Once her lightsaber was crafted, Ra sought to guide his padawan on the path he believed she would be best suited for. Reassuring her that even though she lacked active powers such as telekinetics or mentalist capabilities - that a true Jedi needed not to rely on her abilities through the force. A true Jedi relied on themselves, using his or her powers only for defense and never to attack. They were peacekeepers, not soldiers here to maintain the fragile balance that was the force. While on Tython, Master Ra urged his padawan to meditate and to meditate often on his teachings and the teachings of the Jedi Code. He gifted to her a sliver of a meditation crystal to assist her with maintaining her focus while in combat.
In spite of lacking physical strength or even presence her master believed she could become one of their best duelists. As they travelled together, he watched, he trained and guided his padawan and then knew that a duelling lens would be most beneficial. Giving Charlyra greater control over the shoto, she often paired her own shoto with that of a standard sized shoto which was no longer than ten centimetres with a blue blade.
