Miss Blonde
Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Charity, a seven letter word that Spaarti Creations laughed a good ninety nine point nine nine percent of the time. It was safe to say that the company just really loved money, and after selling a bulk order of clones to the republic they had made a killing in the galactic marketplace. But every now and then, that point zero one percent of the time, Spaarti did the right thing. The Republic's super best friend and most favorite ally the Silver Sanctum had decided to permanently house sit Ossus for the Republic after the loss on Contruum, and hey that was cool. What were friends for right?
Regardless of political standings in the republic, the outer rim world of Lothal had been chosen for the location of a new Jedi temple. This was something that struck Patricia as odd, having your new temple be all the way out there in the outer rim. For starters on why this was a bad idea, it was the outer rim. It lacked the safety and control of the core systems and justice half the time came at the barrel of a blaster the more you moved south. But who was Patricia to question the great space wizards and their all knowing power, all she had to do was build these guys a new temple.
But it wasn't going to be that crappy old underground temple that was decaying after hundreds of years of staying in an abandoned state, no that was a straight up death trap to build in. They were going to build on top it, and just let the Jedi walk around in their spooky death trap tunnels to fight the imaginary inquisitors themselves.
With the Spaarti Creations fleet of freighters snapping out of hyperspace and breaking atmosphere the ships pushed down to the planet's surface to where the Jedi had given them coordinates to build. The ships now traveling a few hundred meters off the ground flew along the barren surface of Lothal. A plain of nothing as far as the eye could see until a single mountain that pushed above the surface in a strange shape came into view. That was it, the secret underground temple of the Jedi Order. The mountain was worn and old and Patricia had her crews start to scan it, when the results were in the woman could see the doors inside and knew where to start building. But first they had to make the tall mountain into a mesa. This was of course the fun part.
"All ships open fire." Patricia said from the lead ship command chair.
The twenty odd freighters charged up their forward turbo lasers and soon began to open fire on the temple. What would soon be the sub basement of the temple would hopefully hold up under this sort of fire and vibration.
