Public [Character of the Month] - September 2025 - Nominations

September is nearly at the end!

Shocking I know and it is crazy, also getting closer to all the end of year holidays as well!!

Super excited to see all the threads, character moments and the awesome stories that happened over the past month that people have been building! Especially with the upcoming annihilation and big threads, plenty to develop and work towards!

Rules are as following:

• Nominate a character that is not of your writing that has impressed you in the last month.
• Give the reasons why.
  • Please include thread links for others to see why you love the character so much.
• You may nominate someone that has already been nominated, they will be listed once in the voting stage and the reasons combined into one.
• This is for In Character stuff.
• During the nomination step, you must ask the winner a question for your nomination to count. Yes, that means in this thread, along with the nomination also put a question for the eventual winner, ya scamp.
• During the voting, please limit yourselves to one vote.
• Character must have been active in the last month to qualify, would be great if you would keep it to the last months exploits too.
• Characters can only win once.
• Please do not nominate Staff.

I would like to nominate Vakhari Lutris who is everywhere creating things for the nastiest villains out there and threading every second of it! she's also just easy to work with.

EDIT: Question for the winner - what would your character do if the force suddenly didn't exist, how would they feel?

 

[Arris Windrun]

I nominate Mercy - a character who has been around a while, but most recently caused quite a stir in her stories.

From winning the Galactic Kaggath to raiding Kattada, being instrumental in the current Hapan storyline, and dueling Darth Solipsis, she has had an incredible run as of late on the galactic stage in September. Not to mention the numerous private threads she has had with Arris and other characters recently, as well as her involvement in the Black Sun Syndicate and Sith storylines.

I particularly enjoy the unconventional Sith (biased as I write one), which only adds another layer of how downright badass she is. Like, c'mon - she goes up against Sith Lords, Emperors, and Jedi Knights with nothing but her fists and some shit talk.

For particular highlights, I really enjoyed reading her duel with Tilon Quill , where she got the Jedi Knight to turn over the location of other Jedi Enclaves in exchange for the lives of Jedi padawans she took hostage on Kattada.

My question: What does your character dislike about themselves?

I nominate Da'Razel

Since my return to Chaos, I've had an absolute blast writing with him, seeing how he gets inside the mind of a very powerful, very devoted warrior of the Dark Side, who is not your standard Sith but rather a new type of Darksider who exists for, and characterizes so well, the Empire's Church of the Dark Side. Its been a blast reading his stuff and writing alongside him in both in combat (especially when he took a stand against the Sith Order on Desevro) and out (GE Dominion of Archais, especially)

My question: Do you ever see your character betraying their allegiances as the galaxy shifts, or otherwise ending up in a different group than where they are now?

Aiden Porte

Aiden is involved with just about everyone on the board. A fantastic character all around. Sweet when he needs to be, badass the in combat. I have particularly enjoyed his ongoing story of losing a partner as well as his father Kahne Porte . It has been so well written. More recently his duel with Sars was a pleasure to read. Those two bounced off of each other so well. Greatest dude OOC, he deserves this for a lot of his characters.

Question for the winner: If you could go back and redo one story arc for your character, what would it be and why?
