Hey,
So, you might see the voting options and be confused as to why there is even a vote going on. Well, to answer that I can offer a couple of explanations for it.
1.

mentioned it would be very funny to have a vote and potentially see if the nosy option beats out Varin for Character of the Month, and I couldn't deny that it would be amusing.
2. OCD - It's a traditional step and I think it would break my OCD brain a little too much if I did not do this even though there is already a winner.
3. Part of the feedback that I got for my feedback thread (check that out and offer your thoughts if you want) was to improve the ways that the flairs and COTM art stuff is done. Now, while I agree that there should be more flair to the art moving forward. That takes time and I am very bad at art so takes even more time. I didn't want people to think I was ignoring May because only one nomination happened. Very much want to do this right and try something different or doesn't take me 10 minutes and I say done.
Hence the voting thread. Gives me time to work on the art, soothes that OCD need and gives my friend and myself a good chuckle. Hopefully it also gives you a good chuckle as well when you see this. As long as the art turns out well this could become a smoother part of the CotM process.
Anyways, congratulations to our nominee and hopefully my art skills don't mess up too much and I can live up to the hype that I have now given myself to fulfil!

My reason is the dude is everywhere just about rp wise. Engages with new people to the board and Sith Covenant keeping them excited to keep going on this journey. He champions ideas and is down for just about anything on the collaborative side. He is just fun to write with as well, and loves joking around ooc. He is just fun.
Also ic I hate him and will kill him one day. (Can't be to nice. Lol)

That's when I knew I had to jump in and make things worse. Since then, he's been a really fun and engaging rp partner! I've read some of his other threads and he always makes room for other writers. He's also got some neat lore for his home planet cookin, which I hope to see more of.
Guys we need to be careful, if we keep hyping him up his muscles will explode from all this ego and aura farming, but with the rest hell yeah loving

I really enjoyed writing with him here. I don't usually like to add onto the glaze other people receive. Heaven forbid a roleplayer get an ego and start giving off that "main character syndrome" aura. However,
In a time where the so-called villain characters are being carried heavily by a lot of the older characters from the boards past, or ties to characters / organisations that give them that villainous aura, Mortifer has been that new person on the block that everyone wants to write with rather than being turned away by the usual OOC antics that come with that territory (which he has avoided).
This character deserves their dubs, and while my only in-character interactions came with him via a sub-account I have since deleted, I immensely enjoyed our duel in the first Brosi thread last year and it looks like he has continued to do that with other people 8 months later, so he will get my vote for not being a one-trick pony or falling into the annoying pitfalls a lot of people fall into when they are playing a Sith character which gets a lot of praise.
