Question: What is your favorite inspirational quote, of all time?
I'm afraid I can't answer that because I don't really have any inspirational quotes that come to mind. But I will reveal my cheesy New Vegas fan roots and throw at you the most cliché answer for my favorite quote from that game: "I survived because the fire inside burned brighter than the fire around me."

Question: Where do you want to take your character? Does their story have an end, or are you going with the flow?
I write my characters with this sorta concept in mind:
  • I know where I want them to go.
  • I treat every thread, every other writer's post as an obstacle, detour, reflection point, or rest stop on the way to get there.
For Arris, I definitely have thoughts on where she will end up going. I think she's still got plenty of gas left in the tank as a Sith Lord, but I see her failing in that at the end. I won't say anything else tho ;)

Q: How does Arris take their steak?
Ahaha! So - Arris can actually eat anything. She could eat raw, spoiled meat. That said, if she was in the business of eating steak, she'd enjoy it on the rarer side. Not quite medium rare, not quite mooing still. Though she'd prefer smoked brisket.

My question: What do you think your character would need to actually become happy?
Self-love. That's really it for her. Arris would need to come to terms with the fact that there's nothing she can do to fix anything, and that her existence carries on because of her actions as much as she carries on despite them. Point is, she just needs to learn to live with herself, and the only way she can learn to live with herself that's happy is to love herself.

Question: What has been your favorite story arc to write with so far? What were the consequences of the journey?
Rattlesnake. Easily. It capped off Windrun's middle arc and provided closure to her origin story. Or at least, the closest thing to closure someone like Arris can ever really achieve. I had a lot of fun writing that with Acier Moonbound Acier Moonbound ! Though the arc before we invaded Coruscant was also a really good one, especially the darker moments I got to write with Kirie Kirie and Nilira Vornix Nilira Vornix

Question: who would you kill, marry, date — your character roster edition
Fun one!
Kill: Anet - obviously.
Marry: Boe.
Date: Arris.

What’s Arris’s Achilles heel/fatal flaw? Arris Windrun Arris Windrun Arris Windrun Arris Windrun
Arris actually told Ace this in a thread once. Good luck remembering.

My question is, If you had to make a new character, What would you what him/her to be, Lightside/darkside, Criminal/Good guy, Ect
I'm not going to lie to myself. I only write some flavor of pathetic loser. Usually criminal or at least not straight and narrow. I do have a tendency to write dark siders more than light siders, too.

Question: What piece of herself has she replaced the most? And why?
Her arms - she really likes to grab lightsabers.

Question: If you could possess any historical period person to live their life for a year, who and why?
Sorry if this is a boring answer, but I just wouldn't. I like my perspective, I like seeing people through it, and I like knowing that there are parts of people that belong to them, never for me to know.

My question: How do you see yourself developing or growing you character? Are their any IC goals you character wishes to achieve?
I want Arris to become a harder, more serious person. She's mostly gravitated from the smart-mouthed Black Sun spacer to the angsty, brooding Sith Lord. I think it's time for her to accept who she is, even if that means being an awful, terrible person.

More goal-oriented, tho, I think she wants to become a more involved Sith Master for her apprentice(s). She was very hands-off with Ace, and that didn't turn out so well for her in the end.
