Character Creation and uploading pictures

hey Im a bit stuck, so Im busy making my character and Im having a bit of trouble uploading a picture from my desktop, is that possible or do I need an image hosting site?

[member="Jay Scott Clark"] ,Im not sure if your talking about the right page, I dont need one a profile picture I actually needed one for the Page where I have my character information. It's all good though I found an image hosting site called imgur that I used to upload the photos I needed.
