Character Building

[Rusty]

Kinda floundering with this character. Lotta business stuff going on, but not much in the way of real story. There's only so much I can do in terms of making weapons and building the business before I just start losing interest, and frankly, I'd rather not. Rusty was my first character on Chaos, and I'd like to keep him going.

With that in mind, I'm looking to get him involved in a story of some kind. Not looking to throw him in a faction or get in yet another bar fight, just looking to write a story. Maybe something with a little staying power, who knows.

A soldier type, eh? I did design some armor for the Republic a while back, so it's not impossible that you'd be aware of Rusty. The trick is figuring out a reason for them to cross paths. He doesn't spend much time in Republic space.

I suppose it's more business related, but RCFC is always looking for crash test dummies weapons testers, and a wayward combat droid could always find work doing that.

I'm all about the story. Kay has bumped into all sorts of different characters. She's quite the traveller, so it's not uncommon for her to be different parts of the galaxy.

I know say something about doing another one and seeking you out on Nar... well if there anything more you can think of be happy to try and do another thread with you.

Story is definitely a good thing. I'm a bit out of the loop, so forgive me if my information is off, but is your character still a Senator? If so, I've got an idea for a little bit of diplomacy. Should be a nice change of pace from the usual murder death kill.

No, she's not a Senator anymore. She quit (was fired for being a Force User), however she still has all of her contacts and helps the Republic with some diplomacy and negotiations for other worlds.

Gotcha. Well, there's an intelligence network made up of undercover Shards that I've been writing now. A deposed senator and sentient crystals hiding in robots can surely find some common ground.
