Private Chaos on Kaas

Dromund Kaas
Esstran Sector
Alana Calloway Alana Calloway
Time: 12:00

It was around Noon when Jaya's ship, the White Hawk exited hyperspace, approaching the ancient sith world of Dromund Kaas. Of course, she made all the precautions to not cause any disturbances on the local radar and pulled the ship into a blank zone, slowly coming to a minor stop as it entered into low orbit around the planet, activating the repulsers to plant the ship in a non-falling position. "Computer, please set autopilot on.. and uh, okay, yeah keep the ship at this position. I'm going to run the diagnostics, and scanner systems." She'd say as a beeping noise would go off, signaling the auto-pilot activation. Nonetheless, she'd walk through the corridors of her ship, as she'd arrive in the scanning bay. As she'd walk in she'd sit by her computer, typing in some commands as she'd initiate a routine multi-step scan of the planet.

About ten minutes would pass and a ding would sound out as the scan would be finished, signalling that the atmosphere was safe to travel into still, and a solid landing zone was found outside one of the temples, clear of any major dangerous creatures, and in a large enough space in the jungle that her ship could successfully touch down. Therefore, after marking the location on the navi-map, she began heading for her cockpit. As she'd arrive, she'd take the harness and prepare the controls. And after a moment of de-activating the autopilot she began flying the ship towards the surface, cutting into the atmosphere as the cloud layer would rush by. After a minute she'd arrive past the clouds, as the jungle below would come into view.. and after another minute of flying, the jungle clearing would come even closer into view.
"Whew.. okay, computer please activate autopilot and take us in.. gently.. towards the clearing, follow the coordinates set by the Navi-map and scanner." Jaya would call out as she'd leave the controls, heading for the corridors. It wouldn't be long before she arrived outside her quarters as she would begin putting on her away gear, tightening up her belt as she'd equip her blaster and wrist piece.

As the ship touched down and the landing gear locked into place, the ramp would descend allowing for Jaya's exit. Therefore she would take her first steps onto the planet, as she'd also take her PDA out, using it to scan data back to her wrist Datapad.
"Even the grass here is quite interesting.. gonna find some fun stuff today." She said with a childish gleeful expression as she began heading deeper for the woods, entering into the treeline as her ship would stay parked. Beginning, her adventure into the dark side world.

Gear: in Bio
Alana figured she had to be smoking something to come into Sith space for a score. She just so happened to indeed be smoking something, but that didn't eliminate the danger from her mind. She had kept to high orbit in the world, hiding out in the storms, knowing it would play hell on anyone trying to scan for her little runt of a ship in the midst of this place. Even with the half expended death stick, she still had a quick draw, and more than half the time she still could shoot straight; but that didn't make her problems with debt collectors go away.
Her bounty tracking system was still processing nearby ship transponders and trying to match them with listed bounties, though the Echani girl was also currently looking over her long list of unpaid expenses. She bit down hard on the cartridge of her deathstick, letting out a sigh and a puff of smoke as she did so. She had really been slacking with her bounties as of late, and not for the better.
Not to mention those folks on Naboo were rightfully livid with her, and that bounty they put on her was pretty hefty. Hell, maybe she could turn herself in for a quick pay day....but she didn't trust anyone to help with that. Especially not that Neri girl. Her mouth tightened around the corners of her lips at the thought. She had a bad habit for chasing bad people, and not for the bounty at the end of the road. Made her wonder when she was finally going to break that trend. She took in a long toke of her deathstick, and was interrupted from her musings by the beeping of her bounty tracking software.
She threw the expended stick away, her attention now focused on the data that was streaming across her terminal. She had the details for someone, a scientist or some sort, but best of all was their vessel was coming planetside based on what she was seeing from her sensors. She read the info and nodded to herself, muttering the woman's name as she observed the portrait. Jaya Serrala. She had a pretty face, which for Alana meant she needed to tread with caution; she had a bad trend of letting her guard down around pretty faces. "Well hot damn, I'm a lucky little hunter today." She mused, flipping several switches as she fixated on her marks vessel, and watched it come into the planet. It wouldn't take too long to reposition the ship and land behind the woman, but there was no need to rush. She had time after all.
Putting in the needed calculations, Alana began to plot out her course to drop in on this Serrala woman. Hopefully she wouldn't put up too much of a fight.
Last thing she needed was another messed up bounty.
