Chaos Celebrities

So, I have way to many threads in here, so let's add another one!

Serious face now. Do you think Chaos has celebrities, on an IC and an OOC level? Sort of like names everyone knows, for example [member="Connor Harrison"] on an OOC level. It's someone everyone knows, [member="Coci Heavenshield"] is another one for example. [member="Darth Ferus"] is another one.

But are there anymore?

Look through any faction interest check, and you'll be sure to find him offering feedback or shitposting.

Not tooting my own horn, but Triam used to be a celebrity for her ability to ground pound even the best of force users, most notably another 'celebrity' name Ashin Varanin... who was probably more comparable to Putin's fame, or just as a foreign dignitary given that she was Empress of the Sith Empire.

Fame comes and goes though, no one's name can hold celebrity status forever, and those are famous in the past do not remain famous now and/or in the future.

There is not a single person on this site that is known/revered/whatever by everyone. There are people who have been on this site since its creation that I have never once run into, people deemed a household name whose actions should be known by all that I haven't heard of.

To you the likes of Connor/Coci/Tefka may seem universal, but I'm betting you now there are at least a couple of people who have never heard of them, never seen their posts or their roleplays.

I think the only exception may be Staff, after all the big bright red/orange is hard to miss, but even then... Still nope.

We're all writers, all here for a common purpose, and I don't think it'd be right to hold any above the rest.

Besides, even 'real life' celebs are only celebs to their following.

[member="Mysa Snowstrider"] doesn't mean they don't have "celebrity status", simply because not everyone has heard of them, that is a logical impossibility because even in the real world as you mention, people are known as celebrities even if not everyone in the world knows them... because as mentioned: impossible.

Also, I guarantee you that absolutely everyone who has stayed here for more than five to ten minutes has seen one of Tefka's posts.

It's exceptionally improbable not to, considering everything you have to read to get situated in Chaos, literally means you have to read one of dozens of his staff related posts :/
