Description: A run of the mill blaster pistol that has received a moderate amount of modifications by Chal over the course of a year. The weapon has been stripped down and made slightly more lightweight than the traditional blaster pistol, making it easier to draw from the holster. Normally where a classic revolver pistol would put the cylinder, it instead has a nook where a Power Cell can quickly be removed and replaced. A rack is placed on top of the weapon, allowing for the addition to sights, bayonets, or other mods when desired.
The weapon is jury rigged with an overcharge circuit, allowing for more concentrated bursts of energy, which can absolutely devastate lightly armored targets. The additional energy draw from the circuit adds a much greater amount of stopping power than most blasters, just shy of a High grade Blaster Rifle, but not nearly as proficient or accurate and definitely much louder.
However the weapon’s biggest downside is that it devours power cells. Whereas a typical blaster can fire anywhere from 20-50 shots per cell, this Pistol is lucky if it can manage a quarter of that. The overcharge circuit pushes both the cell and the blaster to its limits, creating an energy draw that makes the weapon notorious for overheating in a pinch when fired in rapid succession. Power cells that have been removed from the weapon must be handled with care lest they burn the hands of the wielder.
Do not submerge this weapon in water; the overcharge circuit is easily shorted and the next time the weapon is fired it has a chance of electrocuting the wielder.
