+DRINK THE DEVIL'S BLOOD: The chalice has a resonant lingering aura of the dark side around it. Anyone who drinks from it will find their darker, more self-centered instincts ennobled, and their affinity towards the dark side increased.
Weaknesses:
-FROZEN SCREAMS: The skull centerpiece was taken from a Jedi who was slain in battle, and unnatural techniques were used to bind an echo of their soul to the defiled skull. As a result, anyone who drinks from it will feel those echos of death and misery resonating within them. It makes the taste of its contents a bit bitter, needless to say.
DESCRIPTION
Osto Dalgas was a distinguished Jedi Knight with an equally vernerable record of service. He performed many feats of heroism and was a bright light of hope for everyone around him. Truly, he was a model Jedi. The key word of course, is "was." On the fields of Commenor, he ran into Tehkyram. And Tehkyram, who had already killed two or three Jedi prior, kept his streak going by chopping off Osto Dalgas's head.
After the battle, Tehkyram presented the severed heads of the five Jedi he had killed to his master, Darth Amortem. Impressed, Amortem had the heads cleaned and the skulls extracted. Four of them were donated to the Sith Empire's temple on Nathema, and the fifth, the skull of Osto Dalgas, he took for himself to make into a gift for Tehkyram. Using his mastery of the dark side, Amortem reached into the abyss and pulled a portion of Dalgas's soul out, binding it to the skull and forcing it to relive Dalgas's final moments.
From there, Amortem sent Dalgas's skull to a team of skilled craftsmen, where it was converted into the centerpiece of a master-crafted chalice. Dubbing it the Chalice of Dark Communion, Amortem gifted the skull to Tehkyram as a means of celebrating his passage into knighthood. Prior to his meditation sessions, Tehkyram will drink a bit of wine from the cup so as to accentuate his affinity towards death and horror for the duration of the meditation. Prior to battle, he will drink a whole cupful of wine so as to enter the proper omnicidal mindset.
