STRENGTHS
  • Portable: Lacking the heavy weight, and large size of older bacta tanks. The Chīsai is both far smaller, and far lighter than its more conventional counterparts. This, along with its retractable, and magnetically adjustable legs allow it to be stored vertically or horizontally. When the legs are retracted, it can be transported simply by pushing it due to its in-built repulsorlift on the bottom side of the tank, enabling users to move it across even the harshest of terrains without issue if necessary.
  • Smart: Capable of connecting to other NKMedical technology, the Chīsai via its adjustable smartscreen can accurately diagnose and monitor the condition of a patient in real time. Utilizing much of the same technology used by the LifeScan Pro, it can also provide its own suggestions on how to handle the patient based on NKMedical database information. And if set to Automatic Care mode, it will even adjust administered medicines, and bacta level accordingly depending on the patient's status.
WEAKNESSES
  • Same Old Bacta: Purely an upgrade in the design of the physical bacta tank itself, the Chīsai does not heal injuries or illnesses any quicker than traditional bacta tank models as it is still utilizing the same bacta substance. It is only intended to make the transportation and storage of bacta tanks easier, faster and more efficient, at this it succeeds.
DESCRIPTION
The logical evolution from the older models of bacta tanks, the Chīsai was simply designed to be a smaller, more easily transportable and storable bacta tank. Allowing greater numbers to fit into smaller spaces, maximising efficiency, while also making them more suitable for fast-moving, dynamically changing environments such as disaster zones or combat areas. Although in function of healing patients it is no different to its predecessors, the Chīsai is instead designed around the needs of the caregivers, rather than the patient. Focused on making their job easier and more convenient, along with streamlining the logistics of large-scale purchasing, deployment and transportation of bacta tanks, the Chīsai has found success in humanitarian organizations, hospitals and military forces.
