SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The Centaur features advanced sensor equipment utilising a variety of methods to detect enemy ships.
Strengths:
  • Picket. The Centaur is a reasonably fast, very agile ship equipped to scout out an enemy fleet. It can range ahead or to the flanks of a fleet to spot enemy ambushes.
  • Agile. The Centaur can move quite quickly and can turn about very nimbly to get out of harm’s way.
Weaknesses:
  • Weaponry. The Centaur is lightly armed, even for a corvette. It is not designed for engaging an enemy in direct combat.
  • Fragile. With light plating and not especially strong shields, the Centaur cannot take much damage in combat.
Description:
Knowing is half the battle…or perhaps not. Regardless, accurate intelligence on an enemy fleet is always vital, and the Centaur plays the role of scout and picket. Its light weapons and armour are not designed to stand up to heavy fighting, but its advanced sensors and agility allow it to get information and return safely.
