Celebrating Those That Deserve to be Celebrated

One Sith Military Building
Coruscant

The One Sith had crashed the Republic, cutting off a large part of their influence, and gaining arguably the greatest military victory they had conducted on the fledgling nation. Krayzen had ordered for a military ball to be conducted at Coruscant, the veteran General deciding it was time that the military be appreciated. Sure, it was the Sith that lead them, but the One Sith Military was their most important branch, its men serving the Dark Council with honor.

"Sir, we should be expecting guest soon." an officer stated.

Various medals were being being given to those that had served with honor. His own ally, Malos had been promoted to Commodore under the recommendation of the only Fleet Admiral in the One Sith Navy, [member="Cyrus Tregessar"].

"My Lord. The ball should be open in the next one minute."

"Continue with the safety procedures, and maintain all weapon checks. Anyone that is found to be hostile is to be apprehended immediately, and if not willingly, execute them." Krayzen stated.

Fireworks then lit up- an official declaration of the ball now beginning. As guests came in, the One Sith General simply smiled, for once being happy that he could get a rest from all the wars, and planning.

Talos entered the hall, looked around, it was strange to see the most feared faction in the galaxy was growing a party. Balloons did not suit Talos' idea of "fear".

He went along as he'd not had any chance to socialize with any members since he joined years ago. Perpetual war and his own lack of social aptitude had driven him into a life of solitude. Not to mention his force ghosts that followed him and spoke as if part of him. That usually went over as expected.

My, how Jack hated formal gatherings. It wasn't the people, it wasn't the environment. It was the utter lack of interesting activities to take place. Hunt down a Jedi that turned out to be the spirit of a Sith Lord? Sounds fantastic. Chase down rebels in a speeder bike chase? Sign me up! Stand around in a monkey suit and get drunk? -_-

If anything took the edge out of the taste of disappointment in his mouth, it was the space chicken appetizers and the reason for the ball. The OS military had carried the faction much farther and for far longer than the fledgling Inquisition had (by far). Add the spiteful smack of corruption evident with the two Inquisitors turning on the head of the military branch and you have a precarious position for the upstart, supposedly unwavering Inquisition forces.

The Inquisition had to prove that they could be trusted and counted on. One ball couldn't do that, but it could certainly help, if only just a little. Now, he figured that, after finishing this delicious and juicy space chicken wing, he should find Krayzen Dratos and bite the bullet by apologizing for the stupid and selfish actions of two traitors. Maybe that would put a better mood on the rest of the party for the both of them. It would be off his to-do list and Krayzen might not hate seeing Inquisitors, like Jack, there at the ball...
