Catch Up and Conquest [All Sith Open]

Setzi Lunelle

Searching for Eleos's Altar
Setzi listened intently when Thanith spoke. She wasn't envious that he had gotten to the ear of Darth Hauntruss first. In fact, she was glad the voice of their concern had come from a trained pilot. She waited patiently for a pause in the proceedings, and once Isamu Baelor finished professing his loyalty and asking for military resources, the brunette acolyte stood. Her voice slightly wavered - she wasn't a politician or diplomat after all. All she could hope was to express genuine emotion.

"I agree with Colonel Baelor. The Corusant attack could have been prevented. And as you can tell from this pilot's words," she said, motioning to Thanith. "Our pilots are eager for assignments. My squadron leader and I have been discussing the need for an elite fighter squad, specially equipped to handle terrorist attacks. It's difficult to mobilize an army against one to two rogue bombers, but a squadron can be quick, nimble and able to be deployed at a moment's notice."

She turned to Colonel Baelor. "I would also be honored to serve under your command for any ground operations as well." Not having a military background, the acolyte wasn't sure whether she needed to salute or do anything else, so she sat back down with her hands in her lap.

Hauntruss watched every speaker with decoding eyes. With the last having spoken, she flexed her palms and pushed herself up from her seat. Placing them then behind her back in a clasped hold she walked around the gathered. Tonk, tonk, the melodic echoes of Hauntruss' boots against opulent marble floor of the projector hall consumed the new silence. Golden eyes passed judgement on those who had spoke. She smiled.

"I have an admiration for those of the military species." Hauntruss hissed, "Born inferior to our prowess in the ultimate power in the galaxy they create their own destiny and are in tune to the mechanics of life." Hauntruss' black inked lips frowned and she glared at the Sith Lords, "Their concerns are now our priority. Without a proper machine of war, we have no means of Imperial domination. The greatest and most important of these machines - is the Imperial Navy - which once again is leaderless, baseless and empty of any organization. I had enforced a strict leadership and mobility to my Imperial Inquisition Fleet. An enormous army that lived on its fleets and could be summoned to any world in a moments notice. I, along with my Inquisition Lord and Knight Commanders, have purged several worlds of Jedi influence and laid orbital hell fire on Republic forces in various battles."

Hauntruss stopped and then slammed her fist into the rim of the holoprojecto's disc like surface edge. "And now, I will enforce my vision on the entirety of the Imperial Navy." Pointing to the projector an official switched the view to an organized segmented map. The plans for an operable, divided but united by command - Imperial Fleet. It was Hauntruss' grand vision - a unified machine that patrolled, guarded, probed and assaulted worlds all at once.

The Sith Lady strolled back to her seat but remained standing. "As of today, I am no longer Inquisitorial Warmaster. But, the first of many to come, first of the new Imperial Warlord of the One Sith. And I shall make the Imperial Navy my purview." Hauntruss lifted her hands and presented them to the gathered, "In my grasp I shall mold the fleet into a fully operational beast of war. And once that is achieved I will begin to name only the most talented as Grand Admirals and Admirals of the fleet. Then upon the blessings of the Emperor I shall begin assigning new Imperial Warlords to lead our navy. The title of Imperial Warlord is a practical and ceremonious title - he who is the Warlord is the arbiter of destruction and tyrant of the gears of war."

"For the Navy and its Aerospace attachments, I am that Warlord." Hauntruss aura became monstrous and consumed with visions of conquest. "Our first order of business is combining the despearate fleets which the various Sith Lords commands into one unit! Commanded by their most trusted Admirals. And upon that eventuality we will rebuild Naval Command over several bases. I and [member="Darth Vornskr"] have wielded the entire Sith Fleet at one point or another. It is us three more than anyone else who have commanded the fleet to its past glories - so for now we three shall be the new Naval Command. Our word is law. From us we shall groom the Admirals and Grand Admiral to come."

Hauntruss, Imperial Warlord of the Sith Navy, had crowned herself and stared down at her new subordinates. Hissing a deep exhale she sat back down and awaited the reception of her plans with a confident and deadly gaze.

"Your word will not be my law, [member="Darth"] Hauntress . Nor do I think it will be the law for everyone within this room. For myself, I will command ships of any size when needed to complete my missions, and you will have no say." The golden eyes of the Sith focused in on the Pureblood. A frown was seen, yet there didn't seem to be any force signature coming from his direction to give away any other emotions.

"This plan, however, can and will work. Just don't get so far ahead of yourself as to think you're above some of those within these halls."

A simple response, and Ferus simply quieted down. He had nothing else to add, but he would not let another get in the way of his Assassin's operations, big or small.

Sage was in staunch agreement with Darth Hauntruss about the One Sith's navy. Lately the fleets of the Sith had lost the sheen of their galactic prowess, and the Inquisitional Warmaster could only improve upon the foundation that was already built. With that in mind, the Hand of the Dark Lord, saw no cause to interject. However, High Colonel Baelor's words caused an almost imperceptible red gleam to form around his irises and a clenching of his thin pale fingers. Sage patiently waited until Darth Hauntruss went silent. He held his tongue again as Darth Ferus, the Dark Lord's Shadow, voiced his concerns about Hauntruss' plans and how it affected the Sith Assassins.

Finally, it was Sage's turn to speak.

With a low growl bubbling up his throat and his eyes narrowed to slits, the Sith Illusionist turned towards [member="Isamu Baelor"] to specifically address his rather bold accusations that the hierarchy was complacent.

"High Colonel Baelor, while the terror attack on Coruscant was indeed a concerning event, it was an isolated incident. Why just last month, One Sith ground forces and fleets alike ferociously thwarted a Galactic Republic invasion of Ord Mirit. To say that the our military suffers because the hierarchy is complacent is an outrage to the soldiers who fought in those canyons, as well as our Wrath of the Dark Lord. If anything, our response to the attack on the Coruscant temple was perhaps more indicative of being stretched thin than the laziness that you so arrogantly assume."

His cloak billowed around him as the Dark Side swelled and fed off his rage. The other Force adepts in the room would feel the palatable thrumming of the Sith Lord's power as the young Hand let his emotions flow through the room. Bane continued his diatribe, his passionate tenor piercing through the chamber.

"I agree that synergy in our military is key, but let us not throw out the baby with the bathwater. Vong technology, provided by our brethren in the Legion Yun'Do can still supplement our more traditional forces. Dovin basals, Rakamat siege lizards, Fire-breathers, and Mern Kane. These technological wonders turned the tides of battle for us on Ord Mirit and can continue to do so. It is my belief that using more than one kind of technology confounds our enemy, and makes us more unpredictable to them."

[member="Darth Ferus"]

Hauntrus raised her hand in compliance. "At ease my brother." Hauntruss hissed, "My purview is purely in terms of military administration. What ships you command are yours to wield. My position is purely custodial. Until the forceless within the structure of the Imperial Navy are moulded into a united fighting force. My word is their regulation...pure and simple."

Hauntruss eased up and exhaled, "Later I shall convene a meeting of this new Naval Command and we shall go about the business of organizing the naval machine. Personal Sith Lord ships need not comply. This is between me and the military."

"I was not speaking of personal ships, sister, but of the fleet in general. My people need full access to any and all ships, depending on the task at hand. Be it a simple freighter to a dreadnaught. And I doubt my organization will be the only one needing such access." Slowly Ferus leaned forward, curling his hands in front of his face as his golden eyes glanced about the table. "Asides from that, does anyone here have any objections? I, for one, support this. So long as it, again, does not interfere with other operations."

[member="Darth Hauntruss"] [member="Sage Bane"] [member="Setzi Lunelle"]

Vengeance listened to the Lords and Military personnel speak. Each brought up interesting points. When [member="Darth Ferus"] created the opportunity Vengeance stood giving a bow to the collection of Lords and Ladies.

"My Lords and Ladies." "Please forgive my interruption." "So of you know me from various operations of classes in the Academy." "For the rest I am Vengeance." "I was at Ord Mirit, I was at Glee Anselm, I was at Csilla, and most recently at Ziost assisting an ally take the planet from the Wretched Jedi." "I have even engaged Jedi on Ruusan."

He paused.

"Our situation is not as dire as our Soldiers and Pilots believe them to be." "However that does not mean there are not improvements that can be made."

He looked at [member="Darth Hauntruss"].

"My Lady I have no doubt your guidance along with that of others who have experience in such areas is just the invaluable influence we need."

He glanced at Darth Ferus with a nod before turning back to Hauntruss.

"Perhaps a compromise." "You each take a Fleet to mentor so that the Navy get's the structure the Navy could sorely use." "They way we all contribute to the War machine while not stepping on each others areas of operation."

Vengeance looked at [member="Sage Bane"] with a bow.

"Lord Bane your teaching have been invaluable but communication as not always been the best and most free flowing between Sith and Military." "I am sure the High Colonel meant no offense and his ideas hold merit." "Perhaps if the Military was including more in the operational planning they would be more in tune with the true state of our vast Empire if that is even the correct term to use."

Vengeance knew he was probably committing suicide by even speaking to those above his station but he felt like it needed to be said.

Darth Ayra remained silent during the exchanges. Her eyes had followed Ismau Baelor and found herself interested by his points. The responses from her fellow Sith Lords had her attention. Perhaps it was the recent incidents that had occurred in her own base of power, but she found herself troubled by the pilot's insolence. She had waited for her fellow Sith's to address it. In particular, she had expected Sage Bane to issue the reprimand for the pilot's challenge, but it had not come.

Activating her intercom, Darth Ayra said. "I admire the courage that you showed to your masters, when you addressed your own concerns about the state of the Imperial war machine. As much as we admire strength, Ismau Balor, we do not tolerate dissent." Rising up to her feet, Ayra stretched a hand out towards the pilot and tugged upon the dark side. Like an invisible hand, the Force Choke that claimed Ismau caused the pilot great pain, as the pressure to his neck cut off his supply of oxygen, causing him to go red in the face.

As she stood there, hand pointed at Ismau whilst he slowly began to choke to death, Darth Ayra turned to the rest in the room. "Stagnation and weakness within the Empire, that we have forged out of the heart of the Galactic Republic, cannot be allowed to set in. If what this man has said is the truth, then that weakness must be purged out of our ranks and replaced with someone with the initiative to make the vision of the Dark Lord happen."

"These acts of terrorism among the Coruscanti must be routed out of the population and when they have been discovered, they must be crushed under foot. We must not forget that these people that we now rule were once proud supporters of the Galactic Republic, and that it has taken them this long to muster up a response, is quite frankly shocking. To think that the Coruscanti or outside forces would not begin dissent in the heart of our Empire, here on Coruscant, is ignorance and the type of weakness that, perhaps, this man was accusing us of having."

"Our response must be quicker, stronger and more devastating than what we have suffered. We must show our enemies that the One Sith are not ignorant, weak or stagnant; and with our response, we tell our galaxy- and our unruly officers- that we are not to be trifled with."

Ayra released Ismau, the punishment done. Saying something along the means of 'I find your lack of faith disturbing' was cliche as best. With hope, Ismau would take the message on board. Lifting her gaze away from the crowd of Imperial officials and Sith Lords, Darth Ayra focused her eyes on Darth Hauntruss.

"Whilst your proposal sounds acceptable, we must not forget that we only serve one power. It is only by the indomitable will of the Dark Lord of the Sith that we now stand here, conversing about the future of the Coruscanti, these rebels and the galaxy itself." Ayra averted her gaze away from Hauntruss to Reverance. "As a member of the inner circle, I only know of one man in this room that has direct contact with our Lord. I have been away for some time, so you will forgive me if I am not aware of anyone else who had entered direct service to Him, but I wonder what your thoughts are on Hauntruss's claim?"

"Is Darth Hauntruss set to become our Warlord?"

Sage certainly wasn't surprised at the Force choking that Darth Ayra decided to mete out on High Colonel Baelor, but he was rather disappointed in the over-reaching gesture. The High Colonel, while presumptuous, was only speaking his mind. Despite the rankling accusations of complacency among the leadership, to speak so freely among such beings of power showed balls of durasteel, and Sage respected his courage. Besides, the Sith Illusionist was quite intrigued by High Colonel Baelor's Iron Warriors, and had wanted to hear more about them.

Red eyes flashed at Darth Ayra. Bane shouted so ferociously that flecks of spittle shot forth from his lips.

"CONTROL YOURSELF AT ONCE, LADY AYRA!"

A sharp huff echoed through the chamber. Where had Darth Ayra been on Ord Mirit? Or during the Coruscant terrorist attacks? What was her solution to military stagnation besides Force choking one of their superior officers? It was a disgrace.

"While I resent some of the High Colonel's implications, I agree with Knight Vengeance. We must look at our communication structure as a whole, and rectify our failures. Despite my disdain for some of his comments, which I'm sure has been duly noted, High Colonel Baelor should be allowed to continue. Unmolested."

He gave [member="Isamu Baelor"] a cordial bow, and then barked an order at a hooded Acolyte skulking in the corner.

"You! Fetch High Colonel Baelor a glass of water at once."

Isamu Baelor

Protector of The Iron Realm
He could not breath, but he did not beg. He asked for no quarter. He was as rigid as iron, and iron does not bend. A reprieve came from Lord Bane, who ferociously shouted at Lady Arya. Her grip on Isamu's throat loosened, and he was able to breath again.

"With all due respect, my lords. It is not dissent that spurs my words. It is duty..." Isamu's damaged throat caused him to cough. "...and duty means telling hard truths. An enemy came to our home, and struck at the heart of our empire. This act has rippled throughout the galaxy. Our enemies will see this as a sign of weakness. It will Invigorate them. Motivate them. If we have been struck once, we will be struck again. It is only a matter of time."

The Acolyte arrived with a glass of water for Isamu. He did not accept, and waved it away, preferring to continue addressing the room.

"Ours is the greatest military force the galaxy has ever seen. It is the envy of all, but we cannot allow ourselves to become complacent. Our dominance in the galaxy is not something owed to us, it is something that we must take by force, and our enemies will not let us forget that. Every weakness will be analyzed. Every hole in our armor will be exploited. We cannot sit idly by while those issues exist. We must become stronger, and stronger. Good enough, can never be good enough. We must be an unstoppable force, and an impenetrable shield."

That was a little bit too far, even for Ferus. Golden eyes snapped to [member="Darth Ayra"] , narrowing as red began to flicker through it. [member="Darth"] Hauntress had give all members here permission to speak, with no consequences. [member="Isamu Baelor"] was a brave soldier to say what he did, and that only proved integrity. Something the woman was sorely lacking in. The Sith Lord would stand up without warning, his gaze glancing over to the Pureblood who had called the meeting. Hauntress was a far more loyal Sith than Ayra, who hid who knows where doing her own thing without any care for the One Sith. Such an insult to not only a loyal man such as Isamu but a Lord such as the pureblood would not go unpunished.

"Darth Ayra. You have spoken out of turn, and by doing so you not only insult the Lady Hauntress, you put a blemish on her word. On any Sith's word. Baelor was correct in what he had said, and you, you took it upon yourself to dish out a punishment that was not yours to address. You have been missing for many battles, and you showed up here to put in a voice that was better left unspoken. Your master was not welcome here, and you will find you are not yourself."

A golden eyes completely turned red as he focused in on the intruder Sith.

"On behalf of these people you have stooped so low to insult, you are challenged to the ancient right of Kaggath for your trespasses. Here, in front of the Wrath of the Dark Lord and his Hand; I, his Shadow, challenge you. Deny this, and you forfeit all claims within the One Sith. Your name will be stricken from record for your cowardliness, and you will become no one. Accept, and you will have twenty four hours to meet at the chosen place of battle. Answer quickly, or remove yourself now."

Nulgath was done watching now was the time to make a point about his observations. So far the "One Sith" members were anything but. With a chuckle he stepped forward from the distance clapping his hands at [member="Darth Ferus"]'s Kaggath challenge to Arya. " Oh this is interesting. Interesting indeed. What happened to Unity? Where did it go? From what I've observed all I see is fissures spreading slowly, weakening everything." Nulgath smirked some. " I know for a fact the Emperor is not cocerned with the questionable actions that take palce here... So Why should you be concerned about this, Ferus? You are the Shadow of the Emperor what more must you prove? [member="Darth Ayra"] has not changed this much is obvious and should not be a problem. Must you belittle One Sith with YOUR actions?"

If Arya was being rude then what was Ferus being and how was his challenge benefitical to One Sith? Nulgath looked around at everyone as he finished his point. No Sith trusted by the Emperor should act in such a way as this! " If Baelor is unp hased by his so called "Punishment" and willing to accept it and move on to better the Empire, Then I wonder what that says about you Shadow of the Emperor?!"

Nulgath showing concern about One Siths political standings was very out of character for him but he relished in attacking Ferus personally on a mental level. If it came down to it Nulgath would sacrifice everyone in this room for his goals. He was the true fissure of One Sith slowly shifting things about as time passed. He was patient and diligent in everything he did.

A single hand would come up to silence [member="Darth Timorous"] as soon as he began to speak. Red eyes remained on [member="Darth Ayra"] as he awaited her response. Timorous would find no answer, or even a thought in his direction, save for the silencing hand. Such a challenge of the Kaggath was too serious to be interrupted, by anyone. Once he did get a response though, anyone could speak as they liked to him.

" Must you be such an ignorant Oaf? " Nulgath crossed his arms and smirked. Once again a attempt to silence his words were preformed with absolutely no effect. Infact the situtation was almost exactly the same as before, Did he forget about Terantetek hide robes? It seemed the Shadow did not learn from the past whatsoever. Or Perhaphs this gesture was in vain. Without power? Perhaphs Ferus remembered Nulgath was no Fool his Armored Robes protected him till he was ready to shed such a protective shell. Either way the Shadows gesture had no effect.

It seemed Ferus was very much into his challenge, how quaint. " I see you demand a fight fitting to make your ego ascend beyond belief. This is One Sith we here are all your equals, Or have you abandoned One Sith?" he stated quoting a specific Emperor.

Kaggath was indeed a righteous and fully functioning tradition of the Sith, albeit rare. The Wrath smiled beneath a cowl of armorweave as he stood up, a Mandalorian orange in hand. While he had no intent on interrupting the claim, he would bypass it with his own comments, as this was turning into something less than productive.

"Even the most fortified walls develop cracks over time, it's part of the nature of building and rebuilding. We are all victims to time..." He spoke quietly as he stood, mild irritation with [member="Darth Ayra"] leaking through his normally cold burning aura, in waves. "A soldier, a Sith Lord, they are all free to speak their mind. But even the messenger bears the consequence of their words and actions. A burden that this man has shown more than capable of refuting..." He of course was referring to [member="Isamu Baelor"].

"We defended Ord Mirit, that is true. But we defended on the power of our allies when it comes to fleeting and no matter what blinders we put on...that presents a problem." He looked towards [member="Darth Hauntruss"], pulling the orange skin from the fruit. The spray misted outward, highlighted by the light. "Power descends from the Dark Lord to those who are willing to claim it and to those...who are capable of keeping it. By fire and trial, Darth Hauntruss will prove the value of this claim to naval warlord through righteous action. Sink or swim, the Dark Lord does not so quickly forget failure."

He barred his teeth beneath the shadow of his robe, pulling apart the quadrants of the orange. Turning back to [member="Darth Ayra"], he smiled. "You hold very little weight to question the legitimacy of this claim. But it's been allowed, up into this point, because the Dark Lord respects open forum...to an extent. Reach out against a loyal member of the One Sith one more time, beyond the scope of Kaggath, and you will understand the title of Wrath with a painful certainty."

He looked towards [member="Isamu Baelor"] and [member="Darth Hauntruss"], gesturing for them to proceed. "Please continue, I'm interested to see where this is going."

Most amusing. Darth Ayra slowly turned her gaze away from Reverance, towards Darth Ferus and smiled. Not a pleasant one, as she had become well practiced in display, but a manic grin that was a slight against the Shadow Hand's challenge.

She nodded, leaning down to activate her intercom. "I accept."

"Before we depart, I'll tell you all that Solan Charr once planned a rebellion on Coruscant back in 837, just after we usurped the Jedi and took Coruscant from the Republic. You want too strike at the rebellion, then here is someone to attack. He's base of operations are on Kesh."

"Do with it as you will."

The accusations that she hadn't been at the Battle of Ord Merit were of no consequence, considering she had participated in the recent occupation of Telti. Due to outside circumstances (IRL), her participation hadn't had the same impact as she had at Kashyyyk, when she had defeated Meric Nadun; or Manaan, when she had fought the monster, [member="Stone Hermes"]. Regardless, Darth Ayra had played her part in the One Sith conquest across the galaxy and two worlds, with two certain individuals, had tasted her wrath.

Nothing would compare to the rage she would bring upon Darth Ferus.

Politely, she bowed her head in the direction of Reverance, when he had finished talking. One Sith had revealed himself to be an enemy, she didn't need another. He's message was loud and clear. Suddenly, Ayra turned back around to Ferus, dropping her heavy robes off her body to reveal her Saberstaff, Lightsaber and other weaponry she would bring to bear.

"Why wait for the citadel, when we have the outside to fight?!" Manifesting the Force into her hand, the Sith Lord aimed to knock Ferus out of the summit, through the doors they had walked through and out into the platform that led to the landing bay, where the various transports that had carried the One Sith delegates to the meeting.

Drawing her Lightsaber into her left hand, Ayra went after Ferus, teeth bared and ready to sink themselves into his body. Metaphorically speaking, of course.

There was a single brow raised on the Epicanthix's face as his quarry began to derobe in front of him. Needless to say, Ferus did not expect not only an acceptance, but the fight to begin right then and there. This surprise wasn't a bad one though, and the Sith's smile widened into a toothy grin, baring fangs. The push slammed into the man without even the slightest mention of a guard or block from himself. Rather, he soared with the blast, kicking open the doors in a form of a black flip.

Landing just outside the doors, a golden saber would flash to life, wide red eyes staring right at [member="Darth Ayra"] with a devilish delight. No longer would he be paying attention to the rest of those nearby, who were quickly evacuating the general vicinity, and instead brought up his own hand. Like snakes the Force would reach out from his hand, aiming to engulf the female and drag her towards him, ripping her from she was standing to soar through the air, and out of the room. His voice called out in an almost singsong voice, clearly pleased.

"Then this Sith Temple will be our battle ground. We shall meet in single combat, and the victor will be decided. Let this be known to all Sith here!" The voice boomed out with an echo of the Force, clearly enhanced by the energy. Tan skin slowly turned to pitch, a clear sign the darkside was beginning to flow through him.

Let the Kaggath commence.

OOC: Ayra and myself have chosen to take the duel to another thread as to keep from derailing this one. If you wish to read up on it, here's a link!

Zaiden stood as far from the groups as possible, his body propped against a wall with folded arms against his chest, all the while invisible to all. He had little to say in these new days of Sith, but he had served as Hand of the Empress for a great time during Ashin's reign, and knew a good deal of what was necessary for the Empire to thrive.

The delay to allow both Ayra and Ferus their chances to boost their pride, though humorous, was a rather insulting bit to say the least. But when Reverance stood to speak, Zaiden found himself nodding. He was a man in the right, who did not step past the line drawn in the sand.

The man in the shadows though heard a comment to chalk up for later analysis, dark Lords Shadow. That was a title befitting a proper assassin. One such as Zaiden.

As the words spoken drifted around the room, he wondered whether he should speak...then realized, what did he care? If he was to speak, they would deal. Few here deserved the respect he could offer.

"Though we never met, I know well of Hauntress and the workings performed in the name of the Sith. Few could perform as she." The words, though spoken by Zaiden, would be carried from all directions by the Force to continue hiding his whereabouts, "As well, though Baelor is correct, an unstoppable force is necessary, I wish to warn against carelessness. Such ideal belief will create a durable vessel, but what is needed though is one that will endure the times. Do not jump the gun with decisions such as this. We must analyze ourselves, then, analyze some more.

"When that is finished, we need to analyze again!" The words echoed around the chambers, "Every battle we need to find the chinks in our own armors!"

"Considering Vong weaponry, or not, I believe this to be the best bet to continually check our armors. Living beings capable of destruction on a grand level, they can be changed and adapt as we do."

Greta was sitting next to the High Colonel [member="Isamu Baelor"] when the officer was force choked. Several of the members of the meeting were shocked or surprised by the sheer audacity and the abruptness of the act. She, however was not. Her expression was one of disappointment, sighing as her palm slowly met her face, culminating in a facepalm. The meeting was here for its participants to voice out their concerns and aid in patching up the holes that lied in the One Sith's mistakes and weaknesses.

Only through unity and working together, would they be able to fix the mistakes and make the Sith empire stronger than ever. But they were Sith after all, and this was proving to be difficult. Throughout the entire engagement, Noxia had seen fit to keep silent, not wanting to add fuel to the fire.

Then all hell broke loose, and her facepalming was cut short. Lord Bane yelled at Ayra to calm herself, and when he asked for a glass of water for the man, the blonde chuckled softly to herself. He would not take it. Her prediction was proven correct as the High Colonel simply waved away the drink as he continue on. She found a growing respect for the older man. She admired his guts and his courage to speak what must be said despite being surrounded by a multitude of Sith, all more powerful than he was.

He was driven by his sense of duty and loyalty to the One Sith, and for that she could find no fault in, being a loyalist herself. Darth Ferus then went on to challenge Darth Ayra to a Kaggath, and the two were subsequently considerate enough to take their fight out of the meeting venue instead, so that the rest could continue on with more pressing matters at hand. Bolstering their diminishing fleet was an critically important task, and if Darth Hauntress could indeed manage to achieve that, she would be more than happy to lend her support to her cause.

Thanith had long retaken his seat. His expression was stone but his mind raced a dozen thoughts. It had not escaped him that while the Sith who appeared to be running things had declared herself Warlord of the Navy had yet to address a single issue that plagued the Navy. Sure one had stepped up and requested the formation of yet another squadron. It escaped Thanith how creating more squadrons instead of shoring up the command issues with the ones that already existed. It made no sense to him but he was not about to cross anyone in a room full of Sith. He figured it would come back around to the topic at hand.

Instead an Army Colonel had expressed issues with terrorism, been screamed at, defended, and then force choked. Only minutes before two other SIth got into a pissing contest of such epic proportions that they were apparently currently outside the room trying to kill each other. Thanith had no idea what a Kaggath was but it didn't sound good.

Another SIth mentioned something about having to use allies in a recent battle and it took everything in hi not to jump up and retort with a of course you had to use allies. You keep your own pilots grounded without, ships, orders, and training to do anything but twiddle there thumbs. After a minute Thanith said screw it and stood up again.

"Will all do respect to the Colonel and the others in this room."

Thanith paused swallowing hard nodding to [member="Reverance"] standing at attention.

"While I do not seek to diminish the issues that plague our planets on the ground the very reason, one which I attempted to highlight at the beginning of this meeting, allies were needed to secure orbit and space is because you keep your pilots grounded with no orders, ability, or permission to contribute to the fight." "Give me a fighter and I will blow our enemies the feth up." "Or we can all jsut sit here and wonder and speculate the why and how like we have not known the issue and solution the entire time."

The looked at [member="Setzi Lunelle"] with a nod.

"With all do respect ma'am how does forming a new squadron resolve the lack of leadership and readiness of the squadrons that already exist?"

Thanith turned his attention to [member="Darth Hauntruss"] giving her a nod.

"I respectfully request Ma'am how does our Warlord intend to resolve the trials and tribulations that plague the Navy you are now Warlord over."

Thanith spoke with the utmost respect even has his heart raced at the prospect of being choked or worse like the Colonel had been. Being only a lowly enlisted Flight Sergeant Thanith fulled expected to be killed on site. But he would face his fate with his head held high and peace in his racing heart even as it threatened to burst from his chest. Thanith normally was a picture of calm but Sith freaked him the feth out even before what had happened to the Colonel.
