I T H O R

|| Equipment: Armor | Sword | Energy Sword | Ring | Mask | Cybernetic |

A while back, During the supposed great Galactic Kaggath, I had taken part, In the very first round against my opponent, I had destroyed a great and mighty tree. One that had been living for generations. It had stood for years to become over 300 meters tall. Which this fight was being held around. Using the massive branches as places to stand and combat one another. In this fight, I went toe to toe against Taregh Garon Taregh Garon . A person who I found major respect for. He was a Wall of a man who could hold his own against my own strength. For that, I considered him an equal. While the fight was ruled in my favor, eventually I too, was removed from the fights. However, since then, a bounty has been made on my head.

The Ithorian Foreign Legion sent out a bounty upon my head.

I found it funny at first. A measly 25k in UCs for who I was. At the time, I had rolled my eyes. Now? They had tripled the bounty. They wanted to bring me down to my knees. Well, if they wanted me, they could have me.

Exactly 48 Galactic Standard Hours ago, I sent out an open net message across any and all platforms. IF these bounty hunters wanted to get me, they could try. All of them at once, one at a time. It mattered not. So here I am. All geared up for a fight and headed right for where I knew if none of them could contend against me, would be a direct spit and slap to the face of the Ithroain Foreign Legion. On their home turf. Ithor.

Landing down in their main capitol, I merely walked up the streets. Making my way in full armor to the Foreign Legion Outpost that was here. Many Civilians were already running. Seeing a Sith Walking through the Streets was not a good sign. Now that I stood right at the front doors, a smile formed against the back of the mask. Hidden behind it but clearly heard on my voice. Should anyone had been close enough to hear it.

"Well, Lets get this over with."

My hand reached out. Yanking a speeder from where it was and throwing it through the front doors of the building. Wiping out the doors and a large section of the wall. Tumbling over itself as I bored a hole into the building with the speeder. Alarms going off throughout the structure. Boots crunching down on debris as I walked into the building. Lights flickering and hanging down from the destruction. People hiding and bodies already dealing with the room temperature challenge. And losing.

"Maybe that will get their attention."

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

Braze had been chasing big-ticket bounties for weeks now, each one a potential lifeline against the weight of his debts. The larger the mark, the quicker the payout ... at least, that was the theory. Reality had proven less cooperative. More dead ends than credits, more wasted time than progress.

It was during a quiet evening on Ossus, with a thin campfire for warmth and a tin cup of instant noodles for dinner, that the galaxy's latest spectacle reached him. News bulletins were already splashing Delsin's rampage across the Holonet with clips of toppled buildings, civilians fleeing, and the Sith's voice carried with arrogant confidence. Alongside it, the letter: his challenge, broadcast to anyone who dared to answer.

Braze set the cup aside and leaned back, with a weary sigh, "Ah… self-indulgence masquerading as power."

As much as he hungered for credits, this wasn't a promising venture. It was a open trap set up to be a grand old performance. Just another so-called Sith, hurling speeders and frightening civilians like a child throwing a tantrum when they didn't get enough attention.

Delsin had painted a target on himself and strutted into the crosshairs, eager to play the role of some holovid game's raid boss wrapped in the comfort of his own plot armor.

Braze shook his head... It would be a few days' travel to get there from Ossus. Tantrum or not, seventy-five thousand credits was still seventy-five thousand credits. Surely someone closer would seize the chance, deeming themselves worthy of the hunt.

If many did, it would likely prove more costly for the civilians regardless. Delsin had chosen the hunting grounds gleefully, indulging in pointless cruelty simply to provoke everyone and prove what a supposed badass he was.

Was there a smart way to approach it? A frontal charge was foolish. That was what Delsin wanted. The wiser move was not to play his game at all, but to set one of his own. A journey to Ithor meant days spent chasing arrogance, with no good opportunity of a payout.

And there was another factor: a bounty on a Jedi, open and active. To march straight into a gathering place where Delsin had summoned every hunter across the lanes would be begging for trouble. It wasn't worth the effort , the time, or the fuel... not when the odds of becoming prey yourself matched or exceeded the promise of reward. No matter how the credits tallied, no one deserved that.

Location: Ithor
Objective: Save Delsin Shaw from himself.
Tag: Delsin Shaw Delsin Shaw

It was the most unconventional of unconventional contracts. In accepting it, Hanna had taken on the mission of saving a mercenary—a fellow signatory to the Writ of Iron—from his own worst impulses. Of course, the Qilin didn’t know how many others had taken the contract. However, as the mercenary in question was one of the most capable and effective Writ of Iron signatories, his health had been deemed of high enough importance to specifically create a contract to ensure his continued survival.

Thus, Hanna had arrived to play the role of Delsin Shaw’s armed and dangerous caretaker.

“I don’t imagine that I can convince you to leave, while you still have the opportunity, right?” Hanna transmitted to Delsin Shaw Delsin Shaw , pinging her location to the mercenary (in order to let him know that she was not hostile) as she skated around the street corner, her form coming into view only seconds later.

“There’s an armed transport waiting for you at the spaceport. I can call the pilot and they will have the ship hovering over this street in less than two minutes, if you want an extraction.” Hanna added. All the while, the small-statured Qilin drifted to a halt, before tapping a few buttons on her gauntlet computer to pull up a hologram of her Writ of Iron credentials and thereafter, a hologram showing the contract she had accepted, demanding the protection or extraction of Delsin Shaw.

“If not...” Hanna gave the outward impression of a sigh, but beneath her helmet, her gaze lit up with something resembling excitement. In that, the Qilin swiftly drew her two verpine shatter pistols, magazines loaded with slugs intended to implode and destroy heavy armor.

After all, Hanna expected nothing less than the very best to come for Delsin Shaw.

WARNING
ACTIVE HUNT
HUNTER: SAL KATARN
TARGET: Delsin Shaw

Four hundred meters away, Sal Katarn finished clambering on top of the roof of a building overlooking the streets. He walked over to the ledge and unslung a rifle case and began assembling the SI-74 Anti-Material rifle within as he reviewed probe droid footage in his helmet feed. The helmet he'd looted off a dead Mandalorian. It had a large battle scar on the front of it, maybe from a lightsaber, but otherwise worked pretty well.

The probe droids scanning the crowd looked for the man, but became immediately obsolete when the explosion lit up the front of the Ithorian Foreign Legion outpost.

"Huh," Sal grunted. That made his job easier.

He fiddled with the scope settings some, then clicked open the bipod and mounted the rifle on the lip of the building. Katarn sighted in on the guy standing outside the front of the outpost.

Yep. Target confirmed.

Sal squeezed the trigger and sent a composite beam bolt capable of shredding a light troop carrier's armor or blowing apart a duracrete wall like a sledgehammer searing toward Delsin Shaw Delsin Shaw just as he started walking into the building. A direct hit wouldn't leave much, but Sal never seemed to get direct hits on these Forcer types, what with their always somehow immediately knowing where and when a shot came from and then immediately dodging. But even if this fella moved quick-like, he might still be in the blast radius. And that in and of itself might do some damage.
