Role: Noblewoman | Businesswoman | Diplomat
Links: Not Applicable

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age: Mid 20’s
Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
Species: Sluissihttps://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Sluissi-Hapan Hybrid
Appearance: Cassandra is a hybrid Sluissi-Hapan, having adapted traits from both species. Most notably that her entire upper body is no longer reptilian in appearance, but rather that of a hapan female. She is around five meters in length, but most of her body is in the form of a serpentine tail that acts as her form of mobility.

She has fair skin on her upper body, blue eyes, and dark curls usually tied up or braided. She has a petite feminine humanoid build, betraying her serpentine body’s significant strength, and cute, attractive facial features. Her tail has dark blue and light blue scales on her back with several black markings, and soft tan underbelly.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name: Cassandra Sovax
Loyalties: The Resistance | Sluis Van
Wealth: Cassandra comes from a wealthy lineage of Sluis Van’s aristocracy, having lived off income from her family’s corporate interests, consisting of land holdings on the surface and some percentage of shipyards in orbit. She sits on the board of her family’s non-profit foundation, making many of the day to day decisions which provides her with a healthy sum.

Notable Possessions: Cassandra owns a personal J-Type Diplomatic Bargehttps://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/J-type_diplomatic_barge/Legends with lavish furnishings designed to accommodate for her serpentine body. She is a collector of books, possessing a small library of hard copies.

Skills: Cassandra is an excellent contract negotiator and logister, doing bookkeeping and editing them well enough to hide donations to the Resistance. Being from a noble family, she is also a skilled orator, able to make public speeches and is noted for being extremely charismatic in smaller conversations. She’s excellent with party planning and working a room, and her rather exotic appearance certainly assists with captivating her audience.

Unknown to most, her hybridization provides Cassandra with the ability to hypnotize people by locking eyes with an unwitting subject. Sometimes she can completely enthrall a being for a time, as though they had been struck by a Gun of Commandhttps://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Gun_of_Command. Some of her family claim it is a holdover evolutionary trait from when their Sluissi ancestors consumed prey whole.

Personality: Despite her sluissi heritage, Cassandra exhibits very few of the characteristics her ancestors had become known for. She is fun, outgoing, and charismatic, displaying kindness and patience for almost everyone she meets. She does possess a sharp tongue and is not above using snark and sass on others deserving of such ridicule in social situations.

Cassandra is also a strong supporter of freedom and liberty, so much so that she has joined the Resistance to help in anyway she can. Not being a soldier or officer, she helps by finding them war materials and resources, supporters, and allies throughout the galaxy in what ways she can.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon of Choice: Diplomacy | Unarmed
Combat Function: Cassandra isn’t much for fighting, preferring to handle most situations peacefully or allowing guards to handle any physical threats, but she is not without the ability to defend herself. She has some capability with hand-to-hand combat, but her real dangers are her hypnotic gaze and her crushing coils, which can shatter bones and crush armor when she constricts around an opponent.

Strengths:
  • Hypnotic Stare: Cassandra has the ability to hypnotize someone she fixes her eyes on, assuming they meet her gaze. While many have powerful enough wills to resist her, some she can enthrall completely for a short time, while most are simply much more open to suggestion while transfixed.
  • Constrictor: She’s a fairly big snake, capable of applying immense pressure with her tail half of her body, enough to turn a person into pulp if she got them coiled up and strong enough to suffocate a wookiee if she could trap their arms with her tail.
Weaknesses:
  • Poor Night Vision: Being part Hapan, Cassandra has poor low-light vision, having evolved in an area with relatively well-lit night periods.
  • Only Human: They don’t really make snake armor, and so she is exposed, usually lacking any form of physical protection.
  • Untrained: All of Cassandra’s combat skills are largely improvised, with no formal combat training or experience.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Cassandra Sovax, daughter of a Sluissi Shaykh and a Hapan woman is the product of a rare genetic mutation among Sluissi which allow males of the species to pass on an X gene to a human or near-human female, resulting in the possibility of a female offspring with shared physical attributes. She’s hardly unique, but is an exotic and rare genetic abnormality not usually seen in the galaxy.

Raised on Sluis Van, Cassandra spent much of her childhood within the villa her family possessed, away from most civilization and fairly secluded. She received a top-notch education with personal tutors for every subject, and held to the high standards of her Father who wanted to mold his offspring into at least one worthy heir to his dynasty. While Cassandra did well in her studies, and proved to be a capable manipulator, being a half-breed did place her lower in the eyes of her father and surrogate mother as her half-siblings were constantly praised and she was usually ridiculed for her performance. It drove her to work hard, but caused a resentment to grow between the family, where Cassandra felt pressured beyond that of her siblings.

There was however, no fairy tale ending. Her hard work did not win over her father’s heart, nor did it earn her any reward. When the time came for the Shaykh to select an heir, he chose one of Cassandra’s older brothers to follow in their father’s footsteps as patriarch of the family. However, she was still of his blood, and entitled to the perks and advantages being his child implied, including an endowment and some small rights to the family’s corporation.

She established herself as a businesswoman, working to maintain the non-profit foundation in the Family’s name as a tax haven for what was now her brother’s company and father’s retirement under the Galactic Alliance, and later as a way to funnel resources to causes she felt deserved aid. Chiefly, the Resistance. Though her monetary support is largely unknown, Cassandra also assists them by using her aristocratic connections to find other sympathizers and benefactors.
