- Smaller compared to its predecessor, as it can be attached on the wrist and has buttons to use the device.
- The scanning process emit a ray of light that scanned the target from top to bottom, front and backside and also the sides of the target, scanning every part of the target.

A modified version of the disguise matrix, the Mirage Kit, allowed users to not only gain the appearance of someone else, but also send decoys of the user or disguised to act as decoy/s. Carter modified the Holographic disguise matrix to help him with Detective work and bounty hunting, as he prefer to be stealthy and avoid frontal combat if possible. It took him 3 years to get it working and completed, after years of working on it and finding materials.
