Kenth Berik was nervous. This was rare for Kenth. He had confronted Sith, defeated pirate fleets and bargained with clients who had more credits than Kenth could count. Yet out of all of them the next client he was to meet put him on edge. Not because the man hated him or he feared the client, but because he wanted to impress the man. No, he needed to impress the man. Dorian Sevanar had asked to meet Kenth Berik about a job. Dorian Sevanar was also the ruler of Kenth's homeworld, Carida and from a young age Kenth's father instilled in him a great respect and reverence for the rulers of Carida. Kenth needed to impress the man. Not for himself but in honour of his father.

"Beginning landing sequence. Sir, tower control have requested for your bodyguard detail to remain on the ship while you proceed to Sevanar's office." The pilot said, interrupting Kenth's train of thought. "Very well. I doubted my security detail would be needed anyway but ever since the recent incursion with those bounty hunters on Carida Major Gorland has insisted I keep them with me." He said to the pilot, not looking for a response but perhaps instead he sought to calm his nerves by talking. As the ship landed Kenth regained his bearing and after being escorted out by his 2 bodyguards who remained at the Envoy he would likely be escorted by Dorian's own guards to his office.

One of Kenth's bodyguard's spoke into his comms. "Cap'n's lookin' kinda tense don't ya think?" he said in a guttural accent. Before the other could respond the pilot chimed in. "Keep quiet you two. Don't think you'd want the Captain hearing you say that." The second trooper sighed and stood there silently.

Upon entering the office Kenth walked in after he was given access and stood to attention and saluted. While not officially within the Caridan military Kenth believed the man deserved a salute. "Captain Kenth Berik. If i'm not mistaken sir you contacted me in order to assist you in a job of sorts. If so me and my men are ready to assist."

The Situation was tense. In light of the recent events on Ilum , the Jedi , Alliance and New Imperial Order were making plans for a retaliatory Strike against the Zweihander Union. Upon hearing such news , Dorian Sevanar had seen this is the perfect opportunity and after meeting with Marlon Sularen plans were laied out to launch crippling strikes against the assets of the Zweihander Union's Corporate Allies most of them whom were still known by Marlon Sularen who had kept a list of every single member of the Directorate's former Corporate Union. However a new addition to the Zweihander Union's Circle of Corporations was Haon Hafey , the man who provided the Alliance with a single Princps-Class Heavy Battlecruiser and now a man now supporting the Union against the Sularen Association. The only real evidence of such was from a Bounty placed on Garm Ki-Sapan one of Marlon Sularen's top enforcers who had disappeared on this very planet after a confrontation with Bounty Hunters intending to capture him.

This loss was devastating though Agent 66 , Marlon's Secondary Enforcer had taken Ki-Sapan's spot and plans were made for retaliation most essentially in the recent mobilization of Judgement Squadron. The First Target was Haon Hafey whom Marlon intended to freeze his assets by essentially blockading Ord Mantell and capturing him during a meeting with him. Though he wanted to make sure it were a trap and needed assistance in repelling any sort of ZU Counter-Attack and that came in the form of Kenth Berik. Having contacted Marlon Sularen and announced his interests in supporting SularenCo , Marlon arranged a meeting between Kenth Berik and Dorian Sevanar so that they can discuss further on a contract for Berik's mercenaries and plans to bring down Haon Hafey.

Sitting down at a Conference Table within his Citadel at Carida , Dorian Sevanar was soon met by Kenth Breik who saluted Dorian Sevanar. "Thank you for agreeing to met me and yes i am in need of assistance for a job." Dorian said as he stood up. Then he pointed at a Holoprojector situated on the Conference table in which projected an image of Haon Hafey. "This man is Haon Hafey one of he main corporate backers of the Zweihander Union a makeshift faction in the Unknowns." Dorian began. "Hafey recently placed a bounty on one of my top enforcers who disappeared here on Carida and i suspect he has already been capture by Hafey and his allies. Before i send a task force to locate him i want Hafey to pay for the price of his actions." Dorian said. "What our target will be is his main Production Facilities on Ord Mantell in which he has used to build ships to provide the Zweihander Union with something that i can not allow." Dorian then paused awaiting a response from the Captain to see if he had any questions. This would be a long meeting though they had all the time they needed for careful planning was needed if they were to deal a decisive strike on the enemy

Kenth paused for a second in order to take in the details of the job. "I am familiar with the Zweihander Union. In fact I just did a bit of work for them assisting them in an invasion of a planet. I haven't met this Haon Hafey but I recall hearing his name over Union comms." Berik had brought over his datapad and began reviewing the Union fleet he had served alongside at Volik. "A concern of mine is the union fleet." Kenth said as he looked over a list of Union forces present at the battle "They have a formidable force and many deem them to be a new major faction due to the territory and resources they posses. They posses multiple fleets and while Union space is located relatively far from Ord Mantell I don't doubt they'll quickly send a force to attempt to deal with us. I'm also still expanding my fleet, and I'm soon to attain a frigate. However, my fleet alone would not be able to hold off Union reinforcements."

Then there was the matter of fighting his old employer. After giving time to let Dorian respond to his first point Kenth would introduce this. "Apologies sir but speaking of my recent business with the Union it doesn't exactly look good for a mercenary company to target a recent employer. I'm open for work for multiple factions and while I have loyalties to some such as yours I do aim to assist any faction looking to reclaim a former Imperial world. I'll need some form of assurance, that my mercenary company will not suffer a lack of contracts because of this." Kenth said. He was mindful that Dorian and to an extent Carida was at odds with the Union but he did not wish to end up losing out on potential clients. He needed the credits to continue completing the primary goal of the Adjudicators, to restore order to former Imperial worlds.
