STANDARD FEATURES

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Strengths:
  • EWAR Resistance - All weapons are manually fired. Aside from Emergency Lockdown Procedures and Life Support (which is usually off unless carrying guests or prisoners), there are no automated systems
  • Droid-Commanded - Utilizing the minimum of a Droid Skeleton Crew, there are significantly less living spaces and cargo areas for food. Also far less other necessities necessary for organics, allowing more space to be used for droids and vehicles
Weaknesses:
  • Limited Maneuverability - The area where the ships thrusters normally would be to turn have been stripped and replaced with Mass-Driver Cannons and firing decks
  • Limited Armaments - This ship prefers to stay in the back, possibly offering minor anti-starfighter support

Description
After researching the Acclamator-class Transports, Forty proposed a new Transport to the Confederacy. Lucrehulks are massively expensive, yet a Captor-class Transport could provide the very same benefits as the Lucrehulk, albeit in a smaller, and less gunned package. Still, these transports could provide assistance in blockades, provide the main force for an invasion, and still support fleets. More easily, they could be used in small taskforces with less resources than a Lucrehulk or Providence fleet. The only significant downside is the size and weaponry, but their purpose is not for ship-to-ship combat, they excel at anti-EWAR tactics. With all weapons on the ship manually controlled, the only EWAR tactic really left is shutting down said weapons. No targeting malfunction or early detonations, but with a droid at the helm of each weapon, it may not be the best shot taken every time.
