Captain Ali Hadrix (PM To Join)

Ali smirked, tugging a lock of hair from her brow and tucking it behind her ear. "There can be, if you want there to be." She muttered. "But for now, there's work to do, and we have to take our moments when we can get them." She leaned forward and kissed Riley again, slowly, feeling every millimeter of the girl's lips beneath the tip of her tongue. "So what do you want then?" Ali asked.

Riley thought about it for a moment. What exactly did she want? She never really thought about that before. Most of the things she wanted were things she needed at the time. Weapons, supplies, those sort things. "Well...maybe I want to be something other than me, other than...This." She gestured to all the military equipment and Cybernetic replacements. "Something normal, even for just a day."

Ali frowned, taking Riley's hands in hers and stepping back to look the woman up and down. "You look wonderful to me, Ri," Ali said supportively, returning to the girl and letting her fingertips explore the mechanical nature of her limbs. "You seem to be every thing you need to be. No more...no less. Normal just means you're like the rest of them," Ali said, gesturing with a jerk of her head back toward the hall outside. "Why do what's already been done?" Ali mumbled, "Especially when you can do me instead?" Ali winked, giggling slightly, and kissed Riley's hand, feeling the strength beneath her lips.

Riley suddenly felt embarrassed at what she just said. "I'm..sorry. It's just..most people start out with normal lives, parents families, friends. I had none of that." She paused for a moment. The things she never experienced were things she couldn't change. "I guess you're right. No use thinking on what could have been." She pulled Ali closer to her and kissed her again. "..and focus on what is here and now."

Ali squeezed Riley's hand, for a moment empathizing with the young woman's struggle. As ever, the Mandalorian life she had grown up with felt to her as a blessing. Its accepting and fluid nature allowed for so much more happiness than the restrictive beliefs and lifestyles of many other cultures Ali had encountered in her time. Ali smiled as the girl pulled her close again, feeling her hips brush against the other woman's. Riley's lips warmed her own, and this time Ali tasted the wetness on them. When they broke apart, Ali made sure to remain close. "You can have all that, Ri," Ali muttered, feeling the warmth of Riley's breath against her neck and cheek. She gently reached for the woman's chin, cupping it lightly. "So let's focus on the here and now, but keep the future in mind."

Ali bit at her lip as she considered the other woman's question. She was unsure how far down the proverbial womp rat hole she was willing to go with Riley, the woman was young and inexperienced, and Ali didn't want her to end up hurt. Goodness knows the girl's lived a rough enough life, Ali thought. Still, what harm could a night of fun do?
Ali bit at Riley's lip this time as she kissed her again, feeling the curve of her side and hip with her hands as she did so. The girl was remarkably well built, and Ali loved the underlying strength she felt every time they touched. Ali pulled away, feeling youthful and giddy, then took one of Riley's artificial hands in hers and pulled her aside to the elegant chaise lounge that rested beneath the adjacent wall's window. Ali pushed her newfound lover gently, sending her onto her seat, then hiked up her dress far enough to straddle the other woman's thighs. With a smile on her lips, Ali leaned forward and kissed Riley again, cupping the younger woman's face in her hands.
What a night this is shaping up to be, Ali remembered thinking before the end of the evening.

Rileys heart raced, not from combat adrenaline, but it was still a good kind of feeling. Her lips met Alis after she was pushed into the chair. The feeling of someone so close to her made her feel even warmer then normal, a warmth she was starting to like very much. She was new to this, but it felt right in a way. For now, though, she'd enjoy the rest of the night and see where it went in the morning.
