STRENGTHS

DESCRIPTION
Named for the legendary Canderous Ordo, Mandalore the Preserver, the HVA-Mk V Assault Tank is the culmination of centuries of Mandalorian armor doctrine reimagined for modern war. Designed by House Verd, Incorporated for exclusive use by the Mandalorian Empire and its affiliated clans, the Canderous-class is not simply a battlefield asset. It is a symbol of martial supremacy.

Built upon a reinforced alusteel and agrinium composite chassis, the HVA-Mk V is equipped with dual plasma cannons capable of liquefying enemy armor at medium range, while its modular missile pods allow for diverse payload delivery. These range from concussion rounds for light vehicles to thermal detonator warheads for siege objectives. Its retractable HV-37 repeater adds suppressive versatility against entrenched infantry allowing it to be controlled by the gunner or driver.

Hovering silently on a high-output repulsorlift array, the tank can traverse hostile terrain, including waters, ruins, and uneven landscapes—without losing combat efficiency. Its defensive shielding suite and ion-resistant ablative plating ensure it can remain on the frontlines even under sustained fire. Internally, it is outfitted with a miniaturized sun reactor, granting it extended operational duration and independence from rear-echelon logistics.
