Silas chuckled at her joke outwardly, but cursed in his mind. He had hoped that he might have found some information about her, something he might direct to information he wanted. This was how he would operate. Everything he said, did, or thought was all to gain what he wanted. Even if Sanna wouldn't be leaving the apartment until the morning, it was all because he had an end game. That is what he had learned on Hapes. That there was never off days. Never time to rest. On Hapes, if you weren't also focused, someone would ruin your life or stab you in the back, often literally, in only a second. It was like a game he played, but a dangerous game. One that was life and death.
Suddenly, relief flooded him, though none of it showed on his face. She had mentioned something about herself, a way he could stir the conversation. To whatever way he decided he was aiming for later. It was a curious statement. Her time. Was she some type of hybrid that gave her much longer life? Something else that Silas had even thought of? He thought he would pursue the topic, but subtlety.
"Where in the galaxy could something so pretty be made?" He asked her, his arm reaching over her shoulder, drawing him in closer to her.
