Call it Happenstance (Silas Raan)

"Only for about a month or so. I've.....not been around for long." she said once they came inside. She handed him his vest bask while trying to dry her feet. Her fur gettin wet was something she avoided as much as possible because it was a horror to dry back to how it would be. But then when it came to bathing that was a different story. Hefett, still a little soaked, wetted the floor beneath her, making her wipe them as often as possible as they made their way up to the top floor.

He had hoped that she had been around longer, maybe more involved. But that didn't mean that she wasn't well connected or resourceful. With a sudden sound, the elevator stopped at the top floor, his suite. It was themed in blues and golds, his former comrades in arms set him in this suite, paying for everything, which they spent quite a deal on. Perhaps their guilt on the fact that Silas was injured during one of their missions due to an accident was their reason for such charity.

"Please, make yourself at home." Silas said to her as he moved into the room.

Looking around she had to give credit to whoever Silas was connected to to have a place like this. It was rather nice, much more so then places she'd been to. Walking around Sanna found herself looking out the big window, seeing everything below and how monumnetal the height of the room seemed now to know they were this high up. After that she turned back to him and asked "So, have anything to drink around here?"

Silas walked into the room, leading her along the same way he was leading her throughout the night. The air in his apartment was heavy because Silas was not one to open it up to the light often and in the time he had been there, the place had seen only darkness. The same as Silas who had done his part to hide in the shadows since he had left Hapes. His time as a young man was spent yelling, screaming, and fighting against everything he thought was wrong, but now he was in a place where he could actually make a difference. At least, that was Silas' intention. However, he still kept the intention to do whatever was needed to accomplish his tasks. Including, taking what he was suspecting could be a dangerous woman into his apartment. She may be at ease though since he had presented no threat and he thought she might have fancied him.

"Yes, I have a large selection at that cabinet." Silas said, pointing to a large brown cabinet in the living. "What would you like? I will make it. Please, take a seat." He motioned for her to take a seat on the blue couch that sat in the room next to his personal terminal.

OOC: Sorry. Had some computer problems, but they are sorted now.

Finding the compliment of her to sit while he said he had anything to drink avaliable, Sanna did give an interested smirk. She walked over and took her seat while saying "Oh, surprise me. But don't make it a BIG suprise." she said, giving him a look that said not to put anything that would kock her out in it. And she would know given her sense of smell. Still she just sat back and relaxed while letting her tail hang over the arm of the couch. It felt nice to be sitting in something so comfortable in such a fancy looking place as this.

(OOC: No problem :) )

A personal favorite of his while he had been on Hapes, Silas began to put together the needed materials for two antakarian fire dancers. As he did, he thought over what information he should begin to ask for. More than anything, he was interested in getting contacts and connections. At this point, he felt like Sanna would be someone he would be glad to know in the future. He also could try to find more contacts. He also needed to find out general information about the Confederacy and how it worked. The more he knew, the better he could work on finding his place in it. That was something that he also needed to know. Where exactly he would best fit into the puzzle of the CIS, where his talents would be used best.

But first, he wanted to ask the main thing was on his mind.

Finishing the drinks, he turned to her as he carried them over while he said,

"Someone as beautiful as you must have a reason to be at a place like this with me." He sat down next to her, smiling devilishly at her while handing her one of the drinks.

She took the drink carefully in her hand before saying "Easy really. You're a very handsome man who saved me from a bunch of thugs about to 'have fun' with me. Then you asked if there was somewhere private we could talk and, well, here we are. You must have a short term memory or something." She chuckled at that joke before sipping some of the drink. It stung her tung with a great flavor that, after she finished sipping, she said "I'll be. A very nice drink. Wish they had something like this back in my time." She stopped when she began to think she said a little much.

Silas chuckled at her joke outwardly, but cursed in his mind. He had hoped that he might have found some information about her, something he might direct to information he wanted. This was how he would operate. Everything he said, did, or thought was all to gain what he wanted. Even if Sanna wouldn't be leaving the apartment until the morning, it was all because he had an end game. That is what he had learned on Hapes. That there was never off days. Never time to rest. On Hapes, if you weren't also focused, someone would ruin your life or stab you in the back, often literally, in only a second. It was like a game he played, but a dangerous game. One that was life and death.

Suddenly, relief flooded him, though none of it showed on his face. She had mentioned something about herself, a way he could stir the conversation. To whatever way he decided he was aiming for later. It was a curious statement. Her time. Was she some type of hybrid that gave her much longer life? Something else that Silas had even thought of? He thought he would pursue the topic, but subtlety.

"Where in the galaxy could something so pretty be made?" He asked her, his arm reaching over her shoulder, drawing him in closer to her.

She could tell this was part of his game of finding out more about her. But, then again, she could give some things away. Not as if ALL secrets needed to be kept, just the bigger ones. She sipped a little more of the drink down before putting it down on the nearest table.

Looking back to Silas she said "Togoria, if you must know. And, since I'm sure you've noticed, I'm a hybrid between a Togorian, who was my father and a human; my mother." in a more matter-of-fact tone.

Silas had finished downing the last of his drink, feeling the familiar warmth of it fall down his throat. He followed Sanna and set his own glass onto the table. He heard her talk about her heritage, though his mind was already focusing on the next few things he planned to ask her. This was how he worked. Staying three steps ahead or more of the present.

"Well, I see that many lovely things must come from that planet." He said, moving back to his seat. Silas had spent his entire life in the Hapes Cluster, so only had solid knowledge of many of the major planets of the galaxy, Togoria not being one that he knew much about. So, it was time to move on.

"And brought you to the Confederacy?"

@[member="Sanna Legra"]

Now came the tricky part. Sanna still didn't want to let on that she was from the past and brought into this time via frozen stasis, but at the same time she needed to find a way to keep things close to the truth. Basically augmenting the facts itself.

"Well, let's just say I was a lone for a while. No parents, no family. It felt like I was walking through life like a dream or something. But then one of the Templars found me and , well, one thing led to another. So here I am, among the ranks of the CIS."

She had become far more careful with what she said than earlier in the night, and since Silas hadn't changed the way he had been treating her, he knew that meant it was a touchy subject. Something with mystery. He would have to make note of that for later.

"I can understand that." He said, looking towards the way, appearing like he was lost in thought. "I had to leave my homeworld, which is how I found the Confederacy." There was no reason not explaining that to her. It was rather simple and vague.

"However, I would like to know more about the Templars. I have heard a lot about them, but know very little." This was good. He was getting some information, however simple and general it may be. But at least he knew he was getting it from a source within the Templars, not just information for the public.

"I wouldn't know what to tell you." she said with a little bit of a downed tone. "I'm just an apprentice. I've barley gotten into training. Not much else to say except they're like the Jedi and yet like the sith. They use the force, fight for protecting their own and don't worry about their emotions getting the better of them. Anything else you'd have to talk with a master."

@[member="Silas Raan"]

That was very interesting to Silas. Hapes had seen its share of Force users, though very few Sith. In fact, Sith were considered taboo in a society they would thrive in. Something he found odd. Not too many Jedi came from the system, though some of repute did, but they had their dealings with the kind. So, the fact that his own faction was aligned with a group that blended the two together was enlightening to Silas, even if Sanna thought she had given him nothing to go with.

"Well, I don't mean to be questioning you so much." He said with a grin, lightening the mood back to playful flirting. "So, why don't you ask me a question or two to make it even?" Silas wasn't exactly a guarded man. Guarded men typically were afraid of revealing their emotions and creating emotional connections. That was something Silas didn't do. So, for him, it was a matter of simply stating facts and getting information like looking at a information terminal.

"Alright then." she said when the offer came up. She thought on it for a moment, thinking of so many different questions she could ask. Personal or not. Ones that made her smirk when she thought to ask them. Ones she was a little worried to know the answer to. Eventually she found a decent one to start with. "Why did you help me back at the cantina? Nobody else really did. So why you?"

@[member="Silas Raan"]

"Well, at first I was rather upset with their aggression towards a woman, especially one so beautiful. Maybe that is just traditional of me." He said, thinking over what had happened at the cantina. "Then, once I saw you could handle yourself quite well, I thought I would use my skills to prevent any type of violence. I've always had a rather skilled tongue." He said, grinning as a joke. He kept his main reason hidden. The last thing he wanted was a place filled with police. He may be far from Hapes, but he wanted to be safe rather than sorry.

@[member="Sanna Legra"]

"Ah. So you were basically trying to play the hero when the little lady didn't need one." she said with a coy smirk. Sanna was truly grateful for his help but at the same time she knew too often that people could just as easily turn the other way when something like this would happen to someone. She did chukle a littlw ehn he made his joke as well, even giving a curious hum of delight afterwards. "So is that how most of your nights go? Saving a woman from thugs and then offering her stay at your place afterwards? Surely there's something else involved."

@[member="Silas Raan"]

He laughed at what all she had to say. He had worried that she might have taken offense that he tried to help her, but she seemed to understand that even if she could take the men out, Silas only had good intentions. Well, mostly good. "Well, I am new to the galaxy outside of Hapes, so I don't know how these things are supposed to go out here." He said with a grin. It was obviously flirtatious and Silas knew what happened.

@[member="Sanna Legra"]

"Well them it seems we're in the same starship." she said, leaning foward towards him a little. "I've barley known much outside of Togoria. So it's hard to get any information out of me for that." Sann then leaned back and took her drink from the table and sipped it down more until none was left. She barley seemed tispy despite what she'd been drinking for the time.

Silas, a man who played each action very intentionally, knew what the cards held for the rest of the evening. Each possibility and scenario ran through his mind with every word. The evening was certainly filled with different moments from stepping in at the bar, to their flirting, to serious questions, to now when physical connection seemed drawing the two together. Silas decided a change of pace and spontaneity should help him get where he needed to be. So, he moved in and kissed Sanna.
