STRENGTHS:- Quick-Thinker: Cal is a great tactician and strategist. She is quick on her feet, physically and mentally, getting her out of many sticky situations.
- Excellent Pilot: Cal enjoys piloting and she's good at it. She started with landspeeders on her family's farm when she was young and she just moved up. She's an expert pilot of speeders, technicals, light armored vehicles, airspeeders, shuttles, freighters, bombers and fighters. She hasn't had chance to fly anything else yet but she's reasonably sure she'd be good at that as well.
- Good Shot: Cal has pretty good faith in her self that she can hit a good majority of her targets, moving or not.
- Skilled Fighter: Cal can defend herself properly, as also she can very much take down multiple opponents as she's been taught how to this by the academy.
- Weak in the Force: Cal is weak in the Force because she has never been taught how to use it, therefor she hides it. She never actually sought out anyone to help her but deep down she does.
- Naive: Cal has very poor judgement for some of her many decisions, which may cause her harm or her own self doing.
- Risky: Because of Cal's naive nature, she tends to take risks that might get her into trouble.
- Pride: Cal has a feeling that she always must prove herself and show everyone why she is there, which can be an issue. Cal usually finds a way to prove herself though.
Calista is an intelligent woman but she is warm with her intelligence, always looking to help others to better understand things. Cal is also a ruthless fighter, knowing how to keep her own in a fight. She has something of a thirst to prove herself however, always looking to prove that not only does she deserve to be there but she deserves to be there because she's damn near the best at what she did. Sometimes her pride can become a bit of an issue, as she sometimes feels the need to do things on her own, but that never stops her from being open to adaptation and learning.
APPEARANCE:
Calista, she likes to stay in her armor almost all the time, unless certain events arrive where she can't wear it. Cal will keep her hair in check, will hardly put on any type of makeup, but she always make sure she at least looks decent for the day. Without the armor, Cal has a thin yet athletic body build with an hourglass shape figure. She also has several scars on her upper back due to a set of injuries she sustained while playing on a landspeeder outside on her farm.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born to moisture farmers on Tatooine, Calista got away from that dust ball of a planet as quickly as she could - she finished her schooling and jumped aboard a ship heading away from Tatooine as quickly as possible. As something of a adventurous gal, Cal enjoyed being able to fight and win so she decided to try her hand at mercenary work. From the age of sixteen, she traveled the Galaxy with a reasonably sized band of mercenaries, doing odd jobs for whoever could pay them well enough. She also figured out through an encounter with some stranger inhabitants during a job that she was force sensitive. After a few years as a mercenary, during which time she had seen action both on the ground and as a pilot of smaller craft, Cal decided that she had seen enough of fighting, of the small wars and the like. She had seen terrible things and all fought for no good reason as far as she could see. So rather than continue to fight for the highest bidder, she took her arms, armor and credits and chose a new path.
The Confederacy of Independent Systems was growing popularity at the time, they themselves looking for new recruits. Cal's excitement for something new after living on the same boring planet for a majority of her life couldn't be contained. Therefor, she had herself enrolled into The Confederacy Armed Forces Academy to help her learn how to become ruthless as fighter. Cal had gone away from the time of peace and came back into the world of fighting and savagery. She had shown extreme prowess in her ability to not only fight, but with piloting and shooting too. Later after graduation from the academy, she received an offer to join the infamous 'Dauntless' and their crew as a Dauntless Commando.
Cal gratefully accepted.
