+Naval Bred: Calenna comes from a very long and distinguished line of naval commanders. Rumors within the halls of her family even say that there is Tarkin blood, but that has yet to be proven. As her lineage all but demands naval service, Calenna has received top tier training on naval tactics and ship handling, even before entering and graduating from the First Order’s premier naval academy.
+Cool and Calm: Grace under fire is the art that Calenna has mastered, at least when on the bridge of a ship.
-Social Graces: While Calenna received tutelage in the finer points of the social graces, she has almost no patience for them.
-Prejudice: Calenna suffers from one of the most common Imperial problems. She has an innate sense in the superiority of her Empire (First Order) and her Species (Human). She is aware, and does her best to keep a lid on it.
APPEARANCE:
Compact is probably the best word to describe Calenna Madrazo. She stands right around the galactic standard for near-human women, has a lithe build, but is densely muscled thanks to part of her ancestry coming from high gravity worlds. She has mocha colored skin, light brown hair, and amber eyes. Her hair is always cut at the shoulders and usually kept in a clean tail or bun at the back of her head to keep it out of her way.
BIOGRAPHY:
Calenna Madrazo was born into the prominent Madrazo family of Dosuun. Her family had been naval officers and naval tactics scholars for as far back as they have records. Under such a weight of history, Calenna had no real choice in entering the service. Unlike many young people in such a position, Calenna did not rebel against her family’s tradition. Instead, Calenna threw herself into her studies of naval tactics, took every opportunity for extra training on simulators, and learning as much of the bridge controls as she could, all before entering the Academy. In the Academy, Calenna quickly went to the top of her class, and remained there, she was untouchable. So focused on excelling in training and tests, she neglected most of the social aspects of the Academy. This lack of camaraderie led to a slow start in her career, even though she was an excellent officer. During the Omega crisis, she was assigned to the Home Fleet, defending Dosuun against any who might have taken the crisis as a chance to strike at their heart.
