SPECIAL FEATURES

• Photon based storage allows the OS to use its unique data storage to its max capability. Using a photon, its magnetic charge, and its magnetic spin. Or the lack of a photon and just a magnetic charge allow the system to layer data in a way that hasn't been done before.
• Adaptive coding allows the OS to optimize itself over time. Also optimizing itself for whatever role its given.

STRENGTHS

• Code: Being code written in light & its subtleties leads to new ways of code implementation, & its safety from prying enemies
• Photon: Photon based storage makes it very very difficult for being hacked, overwritten, edited, or data dug through.

WEAKNESSES

• Hardware: The rest of their hardware outside of the unique solid-state light drive is an Achilles heel. Every digital entity & physical splicers know their way around conventional hardware.

DESCRIPTION

Tel'alith Labs has for a nearly two centuries diligently worked away at trying to create a solid light based drive, and the Operating system to use and run it. Galactic stability or lack thereof many times slowed down their efforts as the team had to work on more pressing matters. Advancements in material sciences ran to the front to be able to capture photons in a solid material and keep them there... or remove them. Followed by the ability to impart magnetic charge & spin to the photons, then do it quickly. A the project methodically moved forward Team Calacholil (team lightbearer) moved forward with their OS designing it as they learned more from their material science counterparts. After countless iterations spanning the long lives of the researchers the project was almost completed.

The finale coding was a true breakthrough, a computer OS stored in photons. Able to have data in the photon, magnetic spin, and in magnetic charge... Changing the single data point into three. The new OS powered droid brains paved the way for a research cluster to improve themselves. The last two decades saw advancement over advancement building the OS and its underlying physical drive to new heights. Now from the largest to the smallest Droid brains lives the Calacholil OS learning from experience. Slowly but surely pushing the boundaries of what is possible. But also meaning the potential recovery of those droid brains to use again... to better more experienced results.
